07/02/2026: I've been twice in two weeks. Always very good, though generally a bit too salty. The waiter taking orders always seems very angry, which is unpleasant. The clientele is quite elderly, yet the prices are very reasonable.

02/02/2026: The food was truly excellent: wonderful flavors, generous portions, and high-quality ingredients. No complaints about the cuisine; it was a success. However, the value for money of the weekend meal is problematic. The Sunday set menu is advertised at €44 excluding drinks, but it's not mentioned that a surcharge of €2 to €6 applies to a large part of the menu. The bill therefore adds up very quickly, and this lack of transparency is regrettable. The most disappointing aspect remains the service. One waiter, who seemed to be the head waiter, was nonchalant, rarely smiled, barely welcoming, and clearly gave the impression of not wanting to be there. He wasn't pleasant when we asked questions, which made us feel uncomfortable. Conversely, another, more discreet waiter was very professional, helpful, and attentive. We could tell he wanted to do well, and we wish him the best of luck in this environment. In summary: very good food, but experience spoiled by the service and a lack of clarity on the extras.

05/10/2025: Along the way, we stopped for lunch. The Sunday menu was elaborate. Overall, the food was good. The dishes were generous. A nice selection of dry cheeses. The menu price is perhaps a little high compared to what's on the menu... A warm welcome. The dining room is large and offers a beautiful view of the Noiretable area. A little surprised by the exterior, we initially thought the establishment was closed... but the dining room is pleasant and the owners are welcoming.

14/01/2026: Spotlessly clean and the Lebanese food was excellent. Thank you for everything. Plus, its proximity to Orly is very convenient.

08/01/2026: This review concerns only the restaurant. The Kefta platter was complete and satisfying, but €19 for this type of dish is still a bit excessive. The service was efficient, even if the lady didn't understand French. However, €4.50 for a half-bottle of sparkling water is unacceptable. They ask if you want drinks without giving you a menu, and bam! You end up with San Pellegrino at almost €10 a liter. In short, go there for a meal, but order a carafe of water.

14/12/2024: Used to the place, what a disappointment. Reserve a table for 7:00 p.m., we learn that our reservation is for 8:45 p.m., no excuses, no search for a solution, the manager is uncompromising and for him it is our fault and not his. It's certain they won't see us again when I think of all the customers I brought back. If there has been a change of ownership, flee.

04/02/2026: The bartender was very unpleasant. He started talking to me aggressively just because I asked for a refund because the tequila tasted and smelled like white rum (the waitress agreed with me). I do not recommend this place.

29/01/2026: Thank you to the entire team at Watson's Pub. I came every evening this week and thoroughly enjoyed the warm welcome. The young waiters and waitresses are attentive and communicate very easily and openly, always with a smile and good humor. Thank you to them. As for the food, what can I say except excellent? With such high-quality ingredients, it's impossible to find anything negative to say. I had a wonderful week, thank you, and goodbye. Goodbye, because my next trip to Périgueux will definitely be to your pub. Best of luck!

17/09/2024: We had dinner there with family, and we had a great time, welcoming staff with a smile. We had the mussels with cream and Roquefort menu: a treat 👍. Various deserts, I tasted: the white lady 😋 but the gourmet coffee and also tempting you have to make a choice. I recommend for the welcome, the price and the menu 👏

The service was impeccable, both discreet and attentive. As for the cuisine... flawless! Each dish was a sensory journey: remarkably fresh ingredients, subtle and bold flavor combinations, all perfectly mastered. A special mention goes to the 7-course menu with wine pairing: a pure visual and gustatory masterpiece. A huge congratulations to the chef and the entire team for this enchanting experience. A treasured address in Gérardmer, to be recommended without the slightest hesitation. We will be back with great pleasure!

06/12/2025: Good food, with excellent frogs' legs of course, dishes made with local produce, decent portions, but a few more sides for those with a heartier appetite would be nice. The cheese plate was light, just three small pieces, a far cry from the cheese platters of yesteryear. I only gave it four stars for the atmosphere because I found the dining room very noisy; it echoes a bit, but that's all. Oh yes, a little something to accompany the aperitif would have been appreciated. Otherwise, the waitresses were great and the two burly chefs were very professional. Parking is limited, but a little walk never hurt anyone. I recommend it; a very good place.

06/12/2025: Delicious and generous meal. Perfect service, pleasant decor. We were at the large table, which is truly ideal for families (we wish we had one like it at home!). We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return if we're ever in the area. The train station parking lot is right next door, which is very convenient!
