The dish was okay, but for the price, it was heavy, dry, and lacked any real effort in terms of seasoning or flavor balance. The poor hygiene (toilet/windows) made us feel uneasy and was probably responsible for my nighttime stomach upset. I understand that this is a family-run restaurant, but we didn't feel like we were dining there; we felt more like we were in the owners' home. So, it's more of a place for a quick bite if you're passing by (for those with even a modicum of standards).

15/10/2026: The setting is basic, rather cold and soulless. But the service is friendly and the menu is varied. The dishes are cooked to perfection, especially the steamed pike-perch. And the prices are reasonable. The desserts are classic and well-executed as well. A good option when you have a train to catch or arrive late in Strasbourg.

04/05/2026: I stumbled upon this restaurant while out for a stroll. It's a place with a lovely history and a lot of charm, with beautiful decor that really puts you in the local atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The meal was excellent, and the drinks were too. A very pleasant evening.

26/07/2026: A warm welcome in a beautifully decorated setting! We dined on the outdoor terrace under a magnificent large tree. The quality of the food was perfect, fresh and full of flavor. The bill was also very reasonable, around 40 euros including a starter, dessert, and drinks.

The owner goes out of her way to welcome you, taking your helmets and jackets into her office, doing everything she can to find you a menu despite the current market conditions. The servers are all friendly. The service is quick, and what's more... the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The starters are a real treat, and the French toast is simply divine. A big thank you; we will continue to come back during our trips to Uzès.

12/10/2026: Delicious food, friendly staff, the young woman was great, she helped and explained everything. I asked for takeaway food, they gave me two containers, the portions were large. There are also showers and toilets. There are plenty of parking spaces. The cost is 18 euros.
