24/08/2026: Small casino, somewhat cramped atmosphere, lots of patience required to be served at the bar

23/08/2026: My partner and I came two nights in a row to have a drink and play a few games. The first night was very good, with a very competent waitress. She overheard us talking about rugby and immediately went to change the TV channel to rugby and served us Rose des Glaces cocktails, which I thoroughly enjoyed for their flavor and refreshing taste, thanks to the abundance of crushed ice. The waitress was impeccable and highly competent. The second evening, Saturday, August 22nd, it wasn't the same waitress, who was rather unpleasant. So I ordered the same cocktail as the night before, but with a different ratio: no crushed ice, just ice cubes, and definitely not too much. For the second order, I asked for the same cocktail again, but with crushed ice. She sighed at first, then complied, adding crushed ice, but again, not too much ice. The bartender was very economical with the ice cubes... Times are tough, but still... Oh yes, I forgot, three drinks maximum. You never know, it might boost the bar's profits for the evening, or we'd be heading for disaster... We still managed to play roulette as we wanted, despite two of the five or six screens being off... Phew, the bar next door was actually in the mood to work...

03/10/2026: A wonderful experience at the Brit Hotel. The rooms are very nice, very clean, and comfortable. A warm welcome and a great breakfast. What more could you ask for?

08/09/2026: I went there to try the new protein juice, and it was delicious. The servers were very friendly and helpful. Don't rely on dubious reviews like Mr. Harrow's and try it for yourself! :) Can't wait to go back soon.

25/08/2026: The welcome from the new manager of this restaurant was particularly poor, especially for someone supposedly in charge of the customer experience. At 8:15 a.m., I went to pick up my complimentary drink from the loyalty program. I was asked for the size: I replied "L," as usual for my chai. The response: "Impossible, I'm adamant, M maximum." I pointed out that I'm a regular customer and have always ordered my chai in an L. She persisted, then asked her colleague who confirmed that they do indeed serve L. So I remarked, somewhat humorously, that I was relieved to see that at least someone was aware of the establishment's practices. This was followed by a roll of the eyes and: "From now on, since I'm here, it'll be M." The L was finally granted to me, almost as a favor. Let's be clear: I don't care about the size M or L. The problem is the attitude, and why even offer it if I don't ultimately have a choice? I'm a regular customer at Cojean and I'm used to a completely different level of service. A smile, a little consideration, and a touch of professionalism at 8:15 am isn't unreasonable. As for internal practices, please agree amongst yourselves before imposing them on customers. I don't have to put up with your annoyance. In short: the problem wasn't the size of the winery. It was primarily the lack of professionalism.

11/09/2026: We had a wonderful time on the terrace of this restaurant! The meal was delicious, but the dessert, a warm chocolate mousse, was absolutely sublime! Special mention to our lovely and passionate waiter, Thierry 😍

02/09/2026: Very disappointed. We were rushed through our meal in 40 minutes flat on a Sunday at 1 p.m. There were three of us, including a child, and we weren't offered a high chair. We had barely sat down before being asked to choose our aperitif, and as soon as it arrived, we had to choose our main course, only to be told that one of the dishes was missing. We weren't offered children's meals, even though we heard at the next table with children that we had already been served our main course. We weren't even offered any suggestions for simply ordering water with our meal. My husband had to call the waiter to request a glass of red wine to accompany the main course we had already ordered. Frankly, we felt like we were bothering them, even though the restaurant was far from full and other tables arrived well after ours. On the plus side, the main course was good.

07/07/2026: If you step inside, you'll not only love the menu and its refined dishes, but also the impeccable service from the lovely, attentive staff! This place is definitely on my list of favorites 😍

06/07/2026: One small drawback was the desserts; we arrived at 1 p.m. for brunch, so the choice was very limited at the end of the meal.

27/09/2026: We ate there this Thursday... A warm welcome, top-notch service, the waitress was incredibly attentive, and we were able to chat with her... And a meal that looked simple on the menu, but the meat and fries were exceptional... Very good desserts too... We thoroughly enjoyed it... And another great thing for a restaurant is that the chef comes to greet you and chat, a real bonus... If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely return 👍... Best of luck to the whole team

22/09/2026: The waitress tried her very best, but the food is absolutely nothing special. I don't understand the good reviews at all. For instance, our fries were completely overcooked and dark brown, we found two hairs in them, we waited for over an hour, the schnitzel was swimming in sauce, and so on. Again, the service was friendly and proper, but what came out of the kitchen was not.

16/09/2026: We tried this inn today. What a pleasant surprise! One word to describe the place, the food, and the service: EXCELLENT. Well done to the whole team. Don't change a thing. We'll be back.

22/09/2026: I was quite disappointed with my experience. The "sommelier" is competent at choosing a suitable wine, but the wines by the glass aren't the best. The charcuterie board isn't very extensive, and the tables for two are placed next to the restrooms or the cash register. The croque monsieur was overcooked and could have been called a baguette.

21/09/2026: The perfect place to discover and enjoy good wine in a great atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and you're guaranteed a good evening!

04/09/2026: An exceptional and lovely waiter. The food was delicious, seasonal, and excellent. Four adults and two children aged 7 and 10 who appreciate good food made for a very happy six-person meal. Highly recommended.

25/08/2026: A Friday evening. Far too expensive for what you get on your plate. Expect to pay nearly €60 for a starter, main course, and dessert... No tablecloth. Noisy wooden chairs. Cheap paper napkins. Basic cutlery. Basic dining room. Half a trout. A rare steak served cold. Overcooked cod. Given the prices, we didn't order a starter. The desserts were good. We won't be back... P.S. The most expensive menu at 'Toit pour toi' in Orcet is €59, nothing like this...

11/10/2026: Fantastic establishment! From the staff to the owners, everyone is always polite, welcoming, and very helpful! The rooms are spotless and well-appointed. It's so peaceful. You have complete independence while still having everything you need at your fingertips. The breakfasts and menus are delicious. This is now my go-to place to stay when visiting family!

The guy who took our order and served us (let's say the only one we saw around the place) was incredibly kind... we watched him run around all evening... top. The prices are a little high, but in line with what we've found around here so far.

06/09/2026: A motorcycle breakdown that could have completely ruined our day… but which ultimately led us to discover a fantastic place! We broke down right in front of the restaurant and, one thing led to another, and we ended up occupying a table from lunch until dinner 😅. A huge thank you to the servers who were incredibly kind, helpful, and did everything they could to help us get our motorcycle fixed. Such genuine kindness was truly appreciated! In addition to this excellent service, we had a delicious meal and were even kind enough to offer us a complimentary aperitif. 🍹 In short, a breakdown we could have done without, but a wonderful encounter with a truly friendly team. Thank you for your hospitality, patience, and good humor! We highly recommend it, and we promise, next time, we'll come… without a motorcycle breakdown! 😂🏍️

24/09/2026: We ate there for the first time at lunchtime today, and had a very good impression. We were warmly welcomed by this young couple who are incredibly energetic, very kind, the service was quick, and the food was excellent. Seeing so many artisans working there is a good sign, and we wish them all the best. They deserve it.

08/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! 😍 Delicious homemade dishes, super friendly owners, and very reasonable prices. €19.50 for a starter, main course, dessert, and drink. The decor is also lovely. I highly recommend it if you're passing through Pont-l'Évêque or the surrounding area.
