09/07/2025: The welcome is very warm, the breakfasts are as hearty as they are refined, the accommodations are tastefully decorated, surrounded by nature, and everyone's privacy is preserved.
The only mistake we made was spending only one night there during our first stay. Since then, we've taken more time to savor this exotic getaway and recharge our batteries over several days.
01/07/2025: While the location is superb, set in wooded and well-maintained grounds, the grounds could do with a bit of a makeover. The woodwork, statues, and poolside beds seem to be out of date.
As for the €25 breakfast per person, it's a robbery.

02/10/2024: A trip to the Opera district as if we were invited by Napoleon III. The restaurant bar of the Grand Hôtel is unique in Paris, under this immense glass roof; giving the impression of being both a winter garden and a ballroom.
Comfortable velvet armchairs and benches, space to converse, without being squeezed by neighbors.
The staff is very friendly, smiling and serious.
What we chose was good and practical if you want to have lunch efficiently and pleasantly, while being in an atmosphere worthy of the great hotels of the Belle Epoque.
We were able to admire the immense and sublime ballroom with its Baccarat chandelier.
Very good mention for the welcome of all the staff.

06/08/2024: We found this atypical place, which resembles an igloo in its shape and blue lighting, during the excellent walk organized by Voyage à Nantes to discover the island of Nantes.
A pleasant break to have a beer or a glass of wine on the banks of the Loire after a day of teleworking..

15/08/2024: We sat comfortably on the terrace, which really enhanced the atmosphere. No idea what it was like inside. All tables were occupied when we arrived, but after waiting about 30 minutes we were able to take a seat. Service very friendly, food fine but not worth the detour. Starter, main course and bottle of wine for two people cost 70 euros.

Warm atmosphere. Variety of classic and Portuguese dishes. Each one better than the other. Only fresh products.
Generosity on and off the plate. Tony and Françoise at the top. And special mention to the chef who knows all the habits of his customers.
For years it has become my HQ.
Go there with your eyes closed.

03/11/2024: It's the neighborhood bistro where you can grab a bite to eat and recharge your batteries. A warm welcome with a large counter and a bright room opposite the market and a terrace. I recommend having a mint tea or coffee. The merguez sandwich and fries are delicious. The boss and his team are good and make this place unique. To try the rest of the menu.

If like me you are a fan of red meat, you are in for a treat, it is always killer!!!
