09/10/2026: A terrible experience, reheated mussels in the microwave! We came specifically to eat mussels and fries and were extremely disappointed. The mussels were initially served cold. The waitress herself noticed this and took the plates away. But instead of preparing fresh mussels, they simply reheated the same ones in the microwave! The result: completely dried-out mussels, an unpleasant texture, and practically dehydrated sauce. The dish was inedible. The homemade fries were unfortunately no better. Very thick, soggy, and absolutely not crispy. What's most baffling is that we were the only customers in the restaurant at that time. Despite this, the kitchen failed to serve us a decent meal. An extremely disappointing experience. We absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

23/09/2026: There isn’t anything I’d describe as perfect.. except for Odette’s chou pastries - yes they get 5 stars for what they do best, sorry to the team but the rest drowns out after you had a bite of the chou 😅 They make them in multiple fruit flavours and also have the classics such as chocolate, vanilla and coffee which are outstanding. Seriously if you have a sweet tooth do not miss this place, you’d be making a mistake! They also serve a good decadent parisian hot chocolate. Also serve coffee.

18/10/2026: Superb place. Refined cuisine. Staff that lives up to the establishment's reputation. Exemplary surprise menu, where the Chef creates superb dishes. If you want to discover a fine dining experience and delight both the palate and the eyes, through the food and the decor, Le Pitey is the place to discover or rediscover.

And a remarkable, varied wine list that regularly updates to introduce us to new gems each month. An establishment that deserves even greater recognition in Bordeaux, and even beyond the Gironde region!

11/10/2026: A wonderful experience! The lamb tagine with prunes and almonds was a pure delight, and the couscous was succulent. The service was incredibly friendly and humorous. We loved this restaurant!

05/10/2026: As a regular customer, I was particularly disappointed tonight. The service was incredibly slow; we waited an hour to be served while everyone else was served before us. In the end, the waiter wasn't as pleasant as usual, and then a bad joke was made. But to top it all off, three people had stomach cramps and one person got sick. Frankly, I'm disappointed. After years of coming, this is over for us.

12/09/2026: Excellent lunch at "Vin Sobre" for two: perfectly cooked rump steak with pepper sauce, generous fries, and an equally delicious veal breast with new potatoes. The selection of homemade desserts was delightful, all accompanied by a good red wine from Ramatuelle. Friendly and welcoming service. What else?

The buffet was excellent, and we received nothing but positive feedback from our guests. The service was top-notch, with a friendly and highly professional team. It was perfect from start to finish.

Everything was delicious, refined, and beautifully presented. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end, and everyone is still talking about it! A Casetta also took care of setting up the secular ceremony, the dinner tables, the decorations… And what was most appreciated was how seamless everything was. We were truly able to enjoy our day without stress or having to worry about the organization. 🤩 The whole team was lovely, available, and caring, and the team on the day itself was incredibly attentive to us and our guests. 03/07/2026: What can I say about this legendary place? I won't even mention its almost mythical history, given the number of France's most prominent figures who have frequented this restaurant. In fact, I'm tempted to say nothing at all. Just come, and you'll understand: a journey back to a Parisian era when Paris was still Paris. It's magnificent, come. Jean-Jacques, the new owner, has saved this mystical place and preserved it exactly as it has always been. Eating here isn't just about eating; it's about having an extraordinary experience, like stepping into an INA video of old French bistros. Long live the Walzcak! Be French and come eat here.

23/08/2026: Great location with access to train station and buses for travel around the Riviera. Easy to travel into Central Nice. Clean rooms. Lovely pool. Close to beach and good selections of bars and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Dorin who made us feel very welcome. Free shuttle to and from airport a bonus. Would definitely return.

29/07/2026: We receivedn raw food. I mean, totally raw. The meat, the chips, everything. When we returned it, the owner asked us if we wanted it cooked again. I asked, the same one? He said yes.... Probably meant to put it as it is in the microwave? Not sure. Then, when it was time for the bill, he tried several times to have us pay for it, producing different receipts with different amounts. The waiters were runniong about, clearly overworked - they were all very polite and helpful though, thumbs up to the staff. Theres much better places along the canal.
