09/06/2026: A wonderful discovery. From the moment I walked in, an enticing aroma made me want to explore further. The staff was welcoming and attentive: a quick lunch. The dishes lived up to the enticing aromas wafting through the dining room and were very satisfying. Lunch menu: main course (filet mignon) + cheese plate for 22 euros, to which I added a glass of red wine, expertly selected by the sommelier, for a total bill of 32 euros. Thanks to my colleagues for introducing me to this place. I highly recommend it.

27/06/2026: I'm giving it 4 stars because I don't want to harm the chef... We had three €129 set menus on June 18th for lunch. We enjoyed the meal, but we were served by, among others, a lady and a gentleman of a certain age whom we found rather gloomy, with a mechanical demeanor, no warm interaction with the customer, and not a single smile. The aperitif glass of champagne was served without anything to nibble on with it; I had to ask for something after half an hour, which then took another 20 minutes to arrive. As an apology, they topped up the glass of champagne we had started drinking while it was still chilled. In short... how to conclude?... a very cold and soulless atmosphere.

16/06/2026: First of all, thank you for this warm moment shared with my loved ones and with you. And yes! A gourmet restaurant with genuine warmth. From the welcome, the servers, the sommelier, the pastry chef, the cooks, and the head chef, we (the entire table) felt the same warmth and perceived undeniable professionalism. The beautiful decor of the dining room, the cutlery, the plates (very original, even), and the glasses is truly appreciated. The technical skill of the dishes is beyond praise, as so many others have already demonstrated, and the Michelin star only confirms the finesse of the dishes we enjoyed so much. All in all, a huge congratulations; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. The wine we drank was excellent. To give you a little taste of the kindness we experienced during our visit, we asked a question that might seem naive: "Chef, how can you recognize good caviar?" After providing a clear explanation, he didn't hesitate to offer us a tasting, and then, a generous spoonful of caviar was placed in the palm of each guest's hand. And mmm! It was delicious. Whereas before, I'd never enjoyed caviar. For that, a huge thank you. We felt that this restaurant has a soul.

15/05/2026: Excellent crêperie in Arras! The crêpes are generous, well-filled, and truly delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff remains friendly despite the crowds. One small drawback: the wait can be quite long. But the quality of the food more than makes up for it. I recommend it if you're not in a hurry!

A complete farce, the owner completely unfazed... We paid for the wine and left without having dinner. Avoid at all costs!

15/06/2026: We had lunch at the Hôtel du Commerce. The welcome and service were very pleasant. The dishes were absolutely delicious, with a special mention for the frogs' legs, cooked and seasoned to perfection.

11/07/2026: Came to watch Belgium in the World Cup. Nice bar with excellent service. We received a warm welcome and there's a big screen.

28/06/2026: During a weekend in Paris, staying right next door, we had breakfast at Le Dôme. The welcome was very pleasant, just like the owner's infectious smile 😀 We didn't have a chance to try the restaurant, but the €8.50 breakfast option is very good (hot drink, freshly squeezed orange juice, and toast or a pastry). The terrace is lovely. We'll definitely be back if we have the chance.

12/07/2026: The setting is idyllic. However, the service is exceptionally amateurish, which is unacceptable given the prices, which are close to those of a fine dining establishment: numerous requests were made just to get water and menus, and the same was true for the main courses and desserts. The food is decent, but nothing special, and again, not commensurate with the prices. To top it all off, they charge €1 per person for parking. It's a real shame; the setting makes you want to return, but the prices charged for such appalling service unfortunately discourage us.

12/07/2026: I booked a table for two through Smartbox for Sunday, July 11th at noon, more than two weeks in advance. The restaurant never bothered to confirm my reservation by email and, even worse, canceled it the night before, without even bothering to let us know. Just because you book with a Smartbox doesn't mean you don't have to pay for your meal! The least they could have done was inform us in advance so we could make alternative arrangements or book a table at another restaurant. I am truly very disappointed by this lack of consideration and professionalism. Unfortunately, I will never be able to judge the quality of the food or the service since, clearly, we were not welcome at this restaurant. We will therefore never set foot in it again. A very sad way to lose customers before even welcoming them.
