25/06/2026: We ordered two beef tartares. We were brought an empty salt mill, a jar with two small packets of ketchup, and an empty Worcestershire sauce container. When we pointed this out, we were simply told they were out, without any suggestion or apology. Several servers then asked if we wanted them to go and get more, rolling their eyes whenever we had the misfortune to say yes. This struck us as odd: it shouldn't be the customer's responsibility to ensure the ingredients for a dish are available. A waitress was eventually sent to a nearby convenience store but returned without having found any sauce. When it was suggested that we look for another option, perhaps at a nearby shop, no real search was undertaken and no apology was offered. Unfortunately, the situation worsened when we explained that we didn't want to eat our tartare under these conditions. Instead of a courteous exchange, we were met with unpleasant remarks and a defensive attitude. The waitress explained that she herself ate her steak tartare without Worcestershire sauce, that in her opinion, this sauce played no particular role in terms of hygiene, that it served only to add flavor, and that many restaurants prepared their tartares without it. When we expressed a different opinion, she replied that we weren't going to "teach her how she does her job." The final straw came when we explained that we found it regrettable to be treated as demanding, even rude, customers when we were simply asking for a solution to a problem for which we weren't responsible. Her response was: "Well, you are!" Beyond the lack of sauce, it was primarily the lack of professionalism, the absence of apologies, the refusal to find a solution, and the tone used that deeply disappointed us. Finally, there was no gesture of goodwill or apology when it came time to pay the bill, just the card reader thrust in front of us at full price. If the job of a waiter consists of contradicting the customer, refusing to question anything, and disrespecting them when they express legitimate dissatisfaction, then we certainly aren't going to teach you how to do your job. However, if this job involves courtesy, a sense of service, and respect for the customer, then clearly there are a few reminders to be made. An experience we will not be repeating.

25/06/2026: This is the best bar I've ever been to! The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is fantastic, there's music, a friendly vibe, and people of all ages. I highly recommend it. Julie, the waitress, is especially wonderful with everyone, always smiling, and always there when you need anything. Don't hesitate to come and have a drink!

27/06/2026: What can I say? 1/ They tell you on the phone that the beach bar only serves platters, no problem, but once you arrive, they tell you that the beach bars only serve drinks; snacks (not platters) are only available after the restaurant closes, so at 2 PM. And of course, they do it in a very condescending tone. 2/ Then they tell you the restaurant is full. Luckily, you checked online a few minutes before. Finally, you get a table right away, and of course, no apology or questioning of the situation. And surprise, surprise, three-quarters of the tables on the terrace are empty. In short, the service is unacceptable given the level they claim to offer. 3/ When we arrive on the terrace, no one greets us. We have to go find them. No one offers to seat us, and after 10 minutes, we choose our own table. And finally, we were served after a 1.5-hour wait, all the while watching other tables that had arrived long after us and had already been served… It's a real shame because the food is very good, no complaints there (duck breast, pork, and octopus), and the setting is very pleasant.

21/06/2026: An experience unworthy of a Relais & Châteaux We had booked a table for two, trusting in the reputation of a Relais & Châteaux establishment. That day, the region was under a red heatwave alert, and knowing the restaurant's layout, it seemed obvious to us that we could have lunch inside. Before even being seated, my husband asked if it was possible to eat inside. The waitress bluntly told us that indoor dining was not offered. Our first disappointment. A few minutes later, we were astonished to see three people seated inside, even though several tables were available. This unequal treatment was incomprehensible and, above all, deeply disrespectful. How can an establishment bearing the Relais & Châteaux label afford such a lack of consideration for its customers? Between the unjustified refusal, the lack of transparency, and the feeling of being relegated to the sidelines, this experience was very disappointing. We left with a bitter feeling and the certainty that this establishment respects neither its commitments nor its customers.

09/05/2026: The atmosphere was fun, it was super good! We had homemade fried meat skewers and salad with a sauce for €19, it was super delicious!

30/04/2026: A restaurant located in the heart of the village. Friendly staff, delicious crepes, and reasonable prices. We enjoyed a relaxing meal near the trees in the sunshine at the end of April. We loved it! 😀

07/07/2026: It's always a pleasure to dine at La Mare aux Canards: the service is always lovely and attentive, the starter chips are perfect, and the food is delicious. And during a heatwave, being in the forest is pure bliss!

21/06/2026: This isn't my first time at this restaurant, but it's the first time I've been disappointed. The team on May 12th at lunchtime wasn't up to the standard of the other teams. The three waiters were constantly refilling our wine, but none of them brought us salt and pepper. The head waitress just watched us take the salt and pepper and didn't lift a finger. It's a shame, as this is one of the last places on Avenue George V that I, a Parisian, used to love to visit.

29/10/2025: Two nights in a room with half-board. Everything was perfect. The evening meal was comforting after a good hike. Breakfast was homemade and everything was delicious. The staff were very welcoming. I highly recommend this farm inn, whether for a simple meal or an overnight stay.

06/05/2026: Passing through the area, I had lunch at the restaurant of this hotel. The service and welcome were excellent. A starter and main course cost €15. For the starter, I had a very creamy and flavorful asparagus velouté, and for the main course, cod (from the daily specials board). It was truly delicious and perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend this establishment.
