Arriving at 10:30 pm without a dinner reservation, we received a warm welcome despite the late hour.
The dishes were excellent, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.
To finish, the gourmet coffee was a real treat and brought the meal to a delightful close. A highly recommended restaurant.

22/06/2026: I had an exceptional French beer, sipped among the locals who flock to this place at the end of the evening.
Very nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. Reasonable prices. I returned the next day and the beer was still good. The staff is slow and less friendly, and above all, I ordered a Pinsa that turned out to be horrible, a kind of dry, inedible focaccia that I later discovered was frozen food with low-quality ingredients on top, for seventeen euros. I don't feel like giving it five stars.

27/03/2026: The room was adequate but very basic; there was no kettle (for coffee or tea) in the room, not even a bottle of water! The room was dark. The bathroom was clean but nothing special, and the shower head was in poor condition.

22/05/2026: I last came 13 years ago. Here's my comment: "I like this restaurant, the price-quality ratio suits me. The welcome and service were great." Unfortunately, everything has changed since then. Very disappointed with the quality and service. The food is completely uninteresting. No flavor, no taste. The chef is very friendly, but not his cooking. More than basic. The setting is very nice. The seasoning needs to be improved.

16/05/2026: Truly outstanding food. Seabass cooked to perfection and served with the best sauce. Mille feuille was also one of the best I have had.

08/01/2026: My wife and I have been here many times. When friends visit us in Nice, we ALWAYS bring them to Oliviera. One of our favorites dining experiences in all of France. (And we've spent move the 1,000 night in France) Always fresh ingredients, well used in delicious dishes. It's in the tourist area but the food is the way the Niçoise eat (if they are a good cook). No CC bring cash. And buy some olive oil.
01/01/2026: My husband and I seemingly walking into Oliviera in Nice while we were on vacation. We have walked randomly into resturants many times before but this was a once in a lifetime experience for us. Sadly, I don't believe we will ever have experience food like this before. This happened almost 2 years ago! The food, the olive oil, the owner, the overall experience still sticks with us. I can't wait to go back one day with our daughter (who is only 1 years old right now).
