The flavors, the taste, the journey are all there.
One of the best restaurants in Orléans.

19/09/2024: Adresse trouvée dans un guide. Au début, l'accueil était un peu froid puis ça s'est détendu. Des plats basques avec des produits locaux. J'ai mangé une des meilleurs côtes de porc de ma vie (venant d'un élevage de Corrèze). Une excellent adresse
10/09/2024: Very warm welcome, there were 3 of us (2 + a dog) We were seated at a table well placed for the peace of mind of our animal who received his water bowl after being installed. Concerning the meal, a menu with many choices but not excessive which allows you to have dishes prepared and cooked on site. We had a typical charcuterie board, very good. Then my husband had Bouchots mussels cooked a la plancha with sweet spices and an Iraty ossau, for me an axoa and an Instant Basque ice cream sundae. Everything was excellent as well as the wine. All served by pleasant and caring people. Very reasonable price. We will not hesitate to come back as soon as we are in the area. Well done to the whole team

13/09/2024: Après la visite au château fenelon, arrêtez vous manger dans ce petit restaurant bon accueil. Plat excellent pour un prix correct. Je vous le conseille il y en a pour tous les goûts.

Magnificent decor and pleasant atmosphere.
The presentation of the plates is very neat.
On the other hand, the service was more than mediocre. Our 3 year old daughter was forgotten and had her chicken and fries brought to her 20 minutes after us.
Forgotten wine.
The plates are beautiful but the taste is not there. Very unfortunate!
And then at 10:15 p.m. on a Friday evening, we were asked to please leave the establishment which was about to close!
The bill was very expensive and had difficulty passing.
1st and last time we will come there.

07/12/2024: Friends recommended this restaurant in Roujan, recently taken over by a young couple. The menu at 29.50 is tempting, good mention for the roast St Marcellin, average for the duck pot au feu, because the small slice of pan-fried foie gras was still frozen to the core. The service is OK, why impose small tables for 2 people on couples when the restaurant was 3/4 empty? It was very cold this Friday evening in December, the air conditioners seemed to be running on ventilation mode...
4* for merit and to encourage the future.
25/11/2024: This restaurant is a gem! I highly recommend, the products are seasonal, quality and the prices are affordable for the ingredients offered. The service is excellent and friendly. We were very surprised to be the only ones in the restaurant for most of the evening.
We will do it again without hesitation!!!

Restaurant service was very slow - but the food excellent
25/09/2024: I went there for wine tasting and had a lovely experience. The tour was handled by Michelle who turned out to be very knowledgable and passionate about the wine and the property. Great English.The settings are beautiful and the wines are interesting (pretty good value for money), for Bordeaux reds surprisingly smooth and gentle, not overpowering with tannins. Overall can't recommend experience enough.
