22/08/2026: A roadside restaurant I stumbled upon on my way back from vacation. It's a great roadside diner, just the way we like them: drinks, good food, and good friends! I highly recommend it if you're passing through the area; it's excellent value for money!!

23/09/2026: I was a regular at Le Valois for many years, where the mille-feuille and the rib steak were a must. I went back last week for the first time in at least two years. What happened?! Dry chicken. Microwaved rice. Stale bread reheated in the oven. The chicken burger had two pieces of breaded chicken that would put KFC to shame (the burger bun, however, was quite good). The pastries and fries were okay. Honestly, offering slightly improved cafeteria food at these prices is unacceptable. At some point, this microwave/metro combo has to stop. It's a shame, this bistro used to be an institution; now the food is as bad as at a Costes. The service, on the other hand, was great. Come on, make a little effort! Fresh, homemade products and a good selection of ingredients. Considering the prices, it's possible.

26/09/2026: My wife and I were visiting from NYC and stopped by Mon Square for an early dinner as we just happened to walk past it. Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The duck, salmon, and croquette were all easily 9/10 or 10/10, and the blueberry cheesecake was a great way to finish the meal. Our server, Elijah, was extremely attentive and welcoming. It was our first time there, and he was super helpful with recommending dishes and made us feel right at home. Next time we’re in Paris, we’ll definitely make it a point to come back and request for Elijah’s services. Thanks again!

18/05/2026: I really enjoy going to dinner at this restaurant; the welcome is warm and you can also take food home... otherwise, the prices are affordable and the food is delicious, the room is clean and tidy, a little corner for a haven of peace, highly recommended.

Quality, quantity, expertise, and a warm welcome are evident every day in this tavern where workers love to take a relaxing break, and where older folks enjoy gathering for an aperitif. 27/09/2026: The service was nonexistent. The waitress was unfriendly and unpleasant. I ordered fish soup before they closed, and it looked like it came straight from a supermarket jar, all for €14. I absolutely do not recommend it, even though I only went for the fish soup. A rip-off and unpleasant.

11/09/2026: It's a very pleasant place, not very big but big enough to eat comfortably. The service is quick and friendly. The food is delicious, typical of the area.

09/09/2026: This place is very good, I had an aperitif, a flammekueche and a dessert of apple crumble tart with crème fraîche.

15/10/2026: Parking lot too small, Lunch break too long (12-2:30 pm). I was there once, Never again.

05/10/2026: Very small, definitely don't go down to the lake with a large motorhome... 6 meters maximum. But there's little chance of finding a spot, it's all packed (weekend).

27/09/2026: Passing through town, we grabbed two pizzas for the road. The pizzas were delicious and generous, and the owners were lovely and helpful. I highly recommend this pizzeria; you won't be disappointed! 🍕
