04/07/2026: A very pleasant surprise on our Blue Route cycling trip. The setting is idyllic and peaceful. The view from the shaded terrace is beautiful. The welcome was warm, and the service was very dynamic and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The perch was perfectly fried with homemade tartar sauce. The steamed salmon with its many flavorful vegetable accompaniments was delicious. A generous slice of homemade Vacherin cheese was also included. Everything is homemade, and the portions are very generous. Just what we needed to recharge on our ride. Thank you! 🙏

24/06/2026: The Café de Paris has a new, extremely aggressive waitress with glasses. She may be efficient, but her customer service definitely needs improvement. Knowing that I'm a regular customer almost every day—winter, summer, in short, all seasons—I always feel comfortable there, except since this waitress arrived. The others are truly lovely and very kind. She's very aggressive. Will I have to change my favorite spot or keep an eye out for her? P.S.: Refusing a simple glass of water while I finish my ice cream, even though I'd already ordered something? Aggressively telling me I had to order something, madam? Is that normal? No! I'm giving her two stars because she's efficient at bringing my coffee, and that's the only reason she deserves two stars. The other servers deserve ten.

29/03/2026: A charming restaurant I'd been wanting to try for a long time. I ordered the starter and the signature dish to be on the safe side. The starter, the mushroom stew, was excellent, very generous, but perhaps a bit too heavy on the Munster cheese. The main course, veal tenderloin in a crispy pastry shell, didn't appeal to me at all. I ate it, but without much enthusiasm. For dessert, a huge floating island, which was very good. Impeccable service, pleasant atmosphere. My companions enjoyed it, but for me, it was a bit of a mixed bag. A shame, especially at that price.

24/05/2026: If I could, I'd only give one star because they simply tried to rip me off. I was with my boyfriend, we wanted ice cream, and the waiter tried to charge us contactless. Luckily, it required a PIN, because the bill came to €90.40. The waiter even thought I was a tourist because he kept repeating "password please." I pointed out his mistake, and he acted like he'd just entered it incorrectly, but it's common practice to add an extra zero to the end of the amount. Whether you're a tourist or not, be careful.

24/05/2026: A wonderful dining experience during our trip to Paris! The service at Le Paname was excellent. The staff were very patient and attentive in explaining the dishes to us, making us feel truly welcomed. The food itself was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable with great value. Highly recommended!

15/04/2026: While the location is nice and unusual, the service, the welcome, and the lunch itself are all in dire need of improvement. I don't even know if it's worth mentioning, because trying to reinvent burgers without understanding the basics and serving undercooked chicken... I won't go into details! My salad consisted of three measly pieces of poorly toasted bread on a 1mm-thick slice of goat cheese... goat's milk must be expensive! Anyway, in April, most of the restaurants in the city center are dreadful, not to mention the appalling service, which doesn't stop them from trying to lure you in as you walk by. Offset could be a nice place... but steer clear, because while I can forgive the undercooked chicken and the pathetic slice of goat cheese, I can't excuse the poor welcome. But you'll be able to form your own opinion.

13/04/2026: I happened to follow the people going into this restaurant. It was packed on a Monday! And I understand why! The restaurant has a soul; the food is delicious and the atmosphere is wonderful. Thank you to the very professional young waiter who took care of me.

25/06/2026: We ordered two beef tartares. We were brought an empty salt mill, a jar with two small packets of ketchup, and an empty Worcestershire sauce container. When we pointed this out, we were simply told they were out, without any suggestion or apology. Several servers then asked if we wanted them to go and get more, rolling their eyes whenever we had the misfortune to say yes. This struck us as odd: it shouldn't be the customer's responsibility to ensure the ingredients for a dish are available. A waitress was eventually sent to a nearby convenience store but returned without having found any sauce. When it was suggested that we look for another option, perhaps at a nearby shop, no real search was undertaken and no apology was offered. Unfortunately, the situation worsened when we explained that we didn't want to eat our tartare under these conditions. Instead of a courteous exchange, we were met with unpleasant remarks and a defensive attitude. The waitress explained that she herself ate her steak tartare without Worcestershire sauce, that in her opinion, this sauce played no particular role in terms of hygiene, that it served only to add flavor, and that many restaurants prepared their tartares without it. When we expressed a different opinion, she replied that we weren't going to "teach her how she does her job." The final straw came when we explained that we found it regrettable to be treated as demanding, even rude, customers when we were simply asking for a solution to a problem for which we weren't responsible. Her response was: "Well, you are!" Beyond the lack of sauce, it was primarily the lack of professionalism, the absence of apologies, the refusal to find a solution, and the tone used that deeply disappointed us. Finally, there was no gesture of goodwill or apology when it came time to pay the bill, just the card reader thrust in front of us at full price. If the job of a waiter consists of contradicting the customer, refusing to question anything, and disrespecting them when they express legitimate dissatisfaction, then we certainly aren't going to teach you how to do your job. However, if this job involves courtesy, a sense of service, and respect for the customer, then clearly there are a few reminders to be made. An experience we will not be repeating.

25/06/2026: This is the best bar I've ever been to! The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is fantastic, there's music, a friendly vibe, and people of all ages. I highly recommend it. Julie, the waitress, is especially wonderful with everyone, always smiling, and always there when you need anything. Don't hesitate to come and have a drink!

The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious: high-quality ingredients, elegant presentation, and flavors that were spot-on from start to finish. The staff also deserves a special mention. The entire team was welcoming, professional, and always smiling, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A small gesture that demonstrates their excellent service: I had forgotten my phone cable, and they kindly took the time to lend me one so I could charge my phone. Always with a smile and great kindness. An establishment I wholeheartedly recommend for the quality of its welcome, its cuisine, and its setting. We will definitely be back! 👏😊

07/04/2026: We were charmed by the warm atmosphere and delicious food! This is a place you can go to without hesitation. The menu is short (about four options for starters, main courses, and desserts), which is a sure sign of quality ingredients and expertly prepared dishes! In addition to the delicious taste, the presentation is impeccable. I recommend the potato caillettes as a starter, a specialty that isn't as readily available as the green caillettes. Delicious. The welcome was truly warm. Throughout the meal, we chatted with the manager, who knows the area like the back of his hand and offered us plenty of tips for exploring the region. I'm definitely going back to eat if I have the pleasure of returning to the area! Thank you!
