28/10/2025: Strange experience. Negative points: The owner was smoking a cigarette outside the table at 7:30 pm when we arrived. There were two forks instead of one and a knife on the table. The table next to us wasn't fully set. There were stains on the tablecloth on the side facing the customer. Only one red wine was available (due to a delivery issue...) and it was served cold because "it's just come from the cellar, you'll have to wait a bit"... (if there were no other wines, why wasn't it at least brought to room temperature beforehand??). The scallop risotto was underwhelming, far from being a risotto, with barely two scallops on the plate. The starter was a trio of foie gras, including pan-seared foie gras served on a chilled plate. There was a 30-minute wait between courses (and there were only six tables). The desserts were uninspired and expensive, especially for a mass-produced chocolate fondant (15 euros, just the Metro brand fondant, and a scoop of store-bought sorbet). The owner was smoking a cigarette at 8:50 pm (in the company of the chef, so it's no wonder we waited 30 minutes between courses), so we went outside to ask for the bill. I asked where the restrooms were, and the owner said, "Wait, I'll go check, I haven't had time to clean them," and flushed the toilet in front of me... no soap. That's outrageous. Positive points: The welcome was still friendly. The food was well-prepared, the ingredients were good, but nothing was exceptional, even if the techniques and cooking methods were sound. For example, the scallop risotto was far from being a risotto, and inexplicably topped with the same garnish as all the other dishes (the same one I had on my tournedos Rossini): a mix of sautéed vegetables, including potatoes. About the risotto... The place is quite unusual. An experience costing 100 euros for two, but not worth it. A shame. 100 euros is a lot of money.

17/10/2025: Extremely good. Even at past midnight, you could eat. Lovely place. We were the only two that late night. Clear, cosy and romantic. Fresh products, nice attendance. Tasty. My girlfriend said orgasmic. Served by the Chef himself. Not as expensive as it should be. A place to recommend, no doubt.

07/04/2026: Lunch for two today. Excellent and very pleasant. Great setting.

23/03/2026: This place is pure perfection. If you want to stop, unwind, and give yourself a break, this place is just for you. The locally owned restaurant, with the beautiful Emilie, brought smiles through her customer service while we stayed all the time. This place was a delight, like a cherry on top of the cake. This place left a mark on us. The food was fresh and cooked to the best quality. A must-stop if you're visiting.

08/03/2026: The summer rush is over. We were able to enjoy a meal and chat with the servers. A well-stocked menu with plenty of choices for appetizers, main courses, and desserts, all made with quality ingredients. A lovely terrace offering a magnificent view of the sea and beaches.

04/03/2026: We highly recommend this restaurant with its breathtaking sea view! The food is excellent: fresh and homemade. Everything was perfect for a pleasant experience! And the price was quite reasonable.

05/05/2026: I came on Thursday, April 30th. A heavyset man at reception greeted me without even saying hello, not even a smile. He took my ID for verification and was extremely unpleasant! I spoke with some regulars and learned that this is his usual behavior! It really puts you off completely! There's a strong smell of tobacco inside, and people are vaping! For non-smokers, it would be good if the laws, which apply to everyone, were enforced!

22/03/2026: Good evening. Having stayed for two nights in March 2026, I found the hotel truly exceptional: the welcome, the room, the jacuzzi. Thomas is accommodating and attentive (and the pizza is very good (thank you Thomas, you'll know who I am)). The après-ski was top-notch, thank you for everything.

23/04/2026: Greeted by the chef himself, Mr. Frédéric Doucet. Top-notch service, delicious meal, and his usual warm welcome. The atmosphere is very pleasant. It felt like traveling for the duration of a meal. Thank you for this meal, always different yet always so carefully prepared and full of flavor.

20/04/2026: We visited Bistrot du Quai on March 7th. Our experience left us with mixed feelings. We had been several times before and everything had always gone well, but this time we encountered several problems, particularly with the service. First point: the service. Unlike usual, the waiters' attitude was borderline rude. A young trainee was present and was subjected to criticism as soon as her back was turned. We understand that she isn't entirely comfortable yet: she's there to learn. However, the derogatory remarks, even mockery, from her colleagues were shocking, especially since they were made aloud in front of the customers. It was clearly humiliating. Second point: the gift certificate. We had a gift certificate for one person (out of two), which included a complete menu with an aperitif, wine, and coffee. We asked if it would be possible to replace the alcoholic aperitif with a less expensive apricot juice. This was agreed upon, but when we paid, the apricot juice was added to the bill. We found this very unprofessional, especially considering that the gift card is calculated based on the most expensive items (wine and main course, so the discount is already maximized). Furthermore, the wine wasn't presented properly: the glass was poured quickly, without any explanation. Therefore, we don't know if the wine served was actually the one we ordered. We are giving a 3/5 rating solely for the quality of the food, which was impeccable; congratulations to the chefs. However, the service has clearly declined in quality, which is a shame, as it's the first thing customers notice.

27/04/2026: The best crêperie in Chatel! Excellent value for money and always a very warm and professional welcome. I highly recommend it!

05/04/2026: Service was too slow. Disorganized. Otherwise, the food was decent.

31/01/2026: I had a wonderful time at L'Adresse restaurant. The staff was very friendly and professional. The traditional cuisine makes you want to come back. The Grand Marnier soufflé and the strawberry and raspberry mille-feuille were delicious (thank you, Chef!). I highly recommend this place and hope to see you again soon. The food is always excellent and the service is top-notch!

07/07/2025: Late lunchtime, but meals served until 2:30 p.m. Starter/main course/dessert menus at €29 and €39. Original and very good andouille tartare; whiting tournedos (millefeuille) very well presented and good; monkfish blanquette excellent. The desserts (homemade again) were appreciated! Fast service (there weren't many people left) and friendly. In short, a restaurant with good homemade cuisine and a warm welcome!

04/07/2025: The dishes offered appealed to us, so we sat down on the cozy terrace. The view is very beautiful on the port of Camaret with its shipwrecks and Vauban tower. The staff was friendly and the chosen dishes were very tasty. The price was very correct. I also saw nothing but happy faces at the tables around us. We can highly recommend that address.

28/02/2026: A warm welcome with a smile. Very generous portions, and we have hearty appetites. As big pasta lovers, we thoroughly enjoyed the original and delicious sauces. We also recommend the desserts: the chocolate or lemon mousse and the Scottish dessert, which are the perfect finishing touch. The service was very efficient, with a kind word or a joke. We'll be back!

28/04/2026: Still excellent. The service is far too slow on busy days. The wine list is mediocre at best. The atmosphere is typical Asian restaurant… nothing surprising.

18/09/2025: Hotel de la gare well located near Chaumont sur loire, friendly and welcoming staff, very clean renovated room, full breakfast, excellent value for money for the region, very satisfied; so much so that you almost forgot about the nearby railway line.
