24/10/2026: We had lunch at La Mado during our vacation in Aix-en-Provence and had a wonderful time! The place is beautiful, well-kept, and clean, with a quiet and welcoming atmosphere. We ate the lamb braised for 7 hours with grandma's side dish: everything was delicious, accompanied by fragrant bread. The 50% discount we booked on TheFork was applied without having to ask, which was much appreciated. A special thanks to the waitress, who was very kind and smiling, despite some difficulty understanding us, being Italian. A truly pleasant experience, highly recommended! 😊

12/10/2026: The ambiance is very pleasant and subdued, and the service is attentive. The cocktail menu allows you to discover and/or appreciate spirits you might not normally be drawn to, which is quite surprising. The bartenders are fantastic! I highly recommend it.

17/09/2026: Quaint family owned wine shop with a beautiful selection of wines as well as charcuterie and entrees. The owners are both delightful and very welcoming to guests. I recommend the charcuterie mixtes with the chef selection of meat and cheeses.

13/08/2026: I went there last July. The food is really great, but everything else leaves much to be desired. The service is slow, very slow. The owner forgot to be friendly, and the young waitress forgot to be polite; it's a shame, it ruins everything. I won't be going back.

10/10/2026: I want to highlight the warm welcome from the owners, who are incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, varied, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The menus change daily using fresh ingredients. The value for money is outstanding. For me, it's the best restaurant in the neighborhood.

26/08/2026: A very welcoming little neighborhood restaurant in Les Minimes, where you immediately feel at home. The decor is simple and understated, and the service is provided by a particularly pleasant and kind waitress. As for the food, the experience was mixed: Starter: A fish parfait with a small salad, simply excellent. Perfectly seasoned, no complaints. Main Courses: Disappointment for everyone at the table with the main course. Whether it was the fish (bland, tasted like it had been boiled) or the stuffed vegetables, the flavor and seasoning were completely lacking. Dessert: A very decent cake to end on a pleasant note. A convenient spot for a lunch break with a nice atmosphere. The successful starter makes you want to give it a second chance to see if it was just an off day with the main courses.

25/10/2025: A great seafood restaurant right on the harbor with a lovely atmosphere. We visited twice for dinner and were very satisfied. A friendly welcome and a great menu. The second time, the service was a bit slow and not as warm and welcoming.

30/09/2026: Following the reopening of this lovely establishment, I wanted to return hoping it would be better than before. Unfortunately, the opposite was true. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the welcome was quite cold. The flavors were disappointing, and the meat was cooked poorly. The foie gras was advertised with toasted homemade gingerbread, but it turned out to be store-bought and not toasted. The cheese platter, priced at €12.50, was actually a plate, not a selection of three inexpensive cheeses. The chocolate fondant, advertised as milk chocolate, was actually dark chocolate, but this didn't seem to be a big deal for the management. We were told to expect a 15-minute wait for the fondant, but it ended up being 30 minutes. My steak, ordered medium, arrived rare. It took the kitchen 20 minutes to cook it properly. Unfortunately, my wife and I ate alone, all for €65 per person, including an aperitif and a glass of wine. That's frankly an exaggeration considering the level of both the service and the kitchen. What a shame!

29/09/2026: New owners, new menu... the setting is still as beautiful. Excellent food. Lovely, smiling, and welcoming staff... nothing to complain about. Bravo to the cuisine: a feast for the eyes and the taste buds! A perfect moment shared with the family. Even our young children loved it.

25/09/2026: Excellent restaurant, the dishes are beautifully presented and delicious. We were able to take our time eating, and the servers were very friendly. If you're passing through the old town, don't hesitate! 😉

20/09/2026: We had a Bertoud and found it very good. We do have one comment: at €4 for a Coke Zero, we expected a glass bottle, not a glass poured from a larger bottle. 8g of sugar is enough for two glasses of Coke; you could buy a nice batch of 1.5L bottles.

23/09/2026: There you have it! An absolutely stunning setting, and the food is just too good. The service is impeccable, the atmosphere is perfect, and the setting is incredible. So naturally, it gets top marks. If you want to have a great time, this is the place to eat.
