22/09/2025: While passing through Caylus, this bar/café was great. A very warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere. The Viennese coffees and ice cream were generous and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it!

03/02/2026: First and last time I'll ever set foot in this restaurant. The welcome was nonexistent, the servers and manager were indifferent to the customers, their behavior was unpleasant, and the service rushed as if the customers were a nuisance… unless the bill was high. The hygiene and the staff's attire leave much to be desired for an establishment in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, especially given its location. The overall impression is of a team that clearly doesn't like their job, nor the customers, but they do love your credit card and the gentle whir of the payment terminal. Change careers, leave your business to real professionals! As it stands, this restaurant should either close down or completely replace its amateur staff. A very bad experience.

11/01/2026: The galettes and crêpes are truly exceptional thanks to a chef dedicated to excellence. Named the first Master Restaurateur specializing in galettes a few years ago, Michel Bailly ran a gourmet crêperie near Rennes before settling in Sarzeau, much to our delight. Last night, he introduced us to an exceptional extra-dry cider from Finistère and generously took the time to explain its production. Don't hesitate to stop by this excellent crêperie for a delicious meal.

30/12/2025: Very disappointed. It's already extremely expensive for a crêperie (which is normally the cheapest type of restaurant given the simple ingredients): €16.50 for the cheapest galette! But on top of that, they're pre-made with poor-quality ingredients (the tomatoes were extremely acidic). If you're vegetarian, this is the worst place to go. There are no vegetarian options; the only thing you can do is remove the meat, but you can't replace it (or you have to pay an extra €2 or €3). So you're basically paying €16.50 for a salad that would cost €5 or €7 as a starter in any low-end restaurant. Oh, and you can make your own vegetarian galette with just four ingredients (and of course, no Reblochon cheese or cheese sauce, which is included in the meat galettes). Absolutely avoid this place.

01/12/2025: What a great place! We booked a night at La Cigogne and what a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, as was the bathroom. The bedding was also excellent! We received a very warm welcome from the friendly owners! We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

22/01/2026: As a former resident of Colmar, I know this place well and frequented the establishments that preceded it. The setting is undeniably pleasant and welcoming. The service was impeccable. However, the Viennese hot chocolate was barely lukewarm, despite the excellent homemade whipped cream. It was also a bit runny compared to what I've had elsewhere, though still acceptable. Finally, the dessert prices seem exorbitant.

17/01/2026: We were absolutely not satisfied. We went there for breakfast around 10 AM and tried to order eggs, but the waitress told us we couldn't order eggs at that hour. So we said, 'Fine, then we’ll just have croissants and coffee.' She then told us, 'Sorry, we won't serve you,' and refused to take our order. She was extremely rude; I will never go there again. They have no idea how to treat a customer

27/08/2024: Frankly, it's super expensive for not something extraordinary.... undercooked camembert, not runny... bull rib difficult to chew... and their crème brûlée with Venice balsam is a failure! The cream was not set at all, very runny.... and a taste...... (warning the waitress not even a gesture while the crème brûlée was a failure) in short to get by at 130 had I ate in much cheaper and much better restaurants. Luckily very nice servers

27/01/2026: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant is located right in the heart of Beauvais. The chef is a member of the Collège Culinaire de France. He skillfully uses spices he has discovered on his travels. The langoustine ravioli were absolutely delicious. The curried egg was a journey through the spices of Asia. The salmon and scallops were slightly overcooked, but the other ingredients and accompaniments were so delicious that one can forgive the chef. And to finish in style, the chocolate profiteroles were absolutely marvelous. A great success with fresh homemade choux pastry, perfect homemade ice cream, and topped with excellent chocolate. This is a restaurant well worth the trip. Thank you, Chef Allan!

21/01/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times for dinner and I've never been disappointed. Our plates have always been filled with wonderful discoveries, and the bold flavor combinations are consistently successful. You're sure to find something to your liking on the menu, and the drinks list is excellent. The service is top-notch. Highly recommended! 👍

27/11/2025: Great little local restaurant serving simple but well cooked French food. Walked in at lunch and food was with us within 8-10 mins. Owner did not speak English but was very welcoming and helpful anyway. Very reasonably priced fixed menu. Left very full and happy!
