25/01/2026: Thank you for hosting our friend's retirement party. We had a wonderful meal; the pizzas and salads were excellent, and the dessert was delicious. Thank you for your patience, as we were a bit noisy, and you and the other guests didn't say a word. You let us enjoy ourselves. I highly recommend it for the great food and friendly atmosphere! 👍👌

08/07/2025: This only applies to the bistro, not the restaurant. The cafe has very dirty restrooms, smells of urine, a dirty sink, and most importantly, I had a drink in a glass with food scraps stuck to it. It wasn't limescale. A tourist spot like Cordes-sur-Ciel deserves a bistro that lives up to this place's reputation.

08/07/2025: Only concerns the bistro, not the restaurant. The cleanliness of the glasses leaves something to be desired. As for the toilet area, I don't think it's cleaned often. Black deposit all around and at the bottom of the bowl. Sink is the same. Too bad the hygiene service doesn't come. Smells of urine. Move on by.

17/11/2025: Good evening. I'm delighted to see your response a year after I posted my first review. If you're attentive to customer feedback, you should reread this one, as it concerns the mashed potatoes served instead of aligot and, above all, the disdain of the manager present (I don't know if it was you), who seemed more concerned about us having paid the bill than about engaging in conversation. This explains the 2-star/5 rating. Have a good evening.

30/10/2025: This place is very special. The food is good and reasonably priced. However, if you order a flank steak, you might get an entrecôte, or vice versa. Sometimes the wait to be served is very long, but it's worth it. The place is superb, the owner is really friendly, and I've ALWAYS been surprised when it came time to pay: it was always cheaper than I expected! It's also great for children who can play safely nearby. I've even had the chance to get some exceptionally high-quality cuts of meat. It's all a matter of luck. Every time I'm in Ax-les-Thermes, I always make sure to stop by. The rooms are nice too...

10/01/2026: A rib of beef, and after serving it, they tell you, "But the Béarnaise sauce isn't right." The waitress replies, "Sorry, we don't have tarragon for the sauce, we'll serve you a ready-made Normandy sauce instead." Outrageous, Patrick!

06/11/2025: The food is wonderful, I ordered duck which was very good. The service is equally excellent and the waiter spoke Portuguese, which made the experience much easier and more pleasant.

30/12/2025: Professional, respectful staff. Were willing to patiently explain the menu in English and graciously offered, without request, some cooked oysters when a member of our party decided she didn't like raw after trying for the first time. Definitely the fresh shellfish is the standout, but the grilled filet and salmon menu of the day were tastefully prepared as well. Desert on the set menu is usually a throw-in, but theirs was several steps above.

05/12/2025: Great spot by the pond. Set menu for €23: starter, main course, dessert, fresh and local produce. Highly recommended.

27/07/2025: Run away!! Reservation for 6 Dirty room! The owner's welcome was not in his element... We left after 10 minutes. What a waste. Go next door! The establishment is being bought out.
