09/07/2025: An incredible story, it starts with a choice of this hotel that I decide to cancel thinking that it was a low-end hotel, I change my mind due to fatigue and say to myself why not? I decide to return to this hotel and I am welcomed by a wonderful woman, Karen, the hotel manager!. A huge thank you to Karen, the manager of the hotel Le Drips, for her exceptional welcome and her professionalism! From the moment you arrive, you feel taken care of with real attention to detail. The hotel is magnificent, tastefully decorated, and perfectly located to enjoy Marseille. Special mention to the whole team for their kindness and availability. A warm atmosphere, impeccable service... what more could you ask for? I recommend it with my eyes closed, and I will come back with great pleasure! I make it my favorite hotel for my stays in Marseille!

18/05/2025: Quite simply, my best hotel experience. Unparalleled cleanliness, impeccable service from both the reception and the staff. The Lagoon adds an extraordinary touch to the already fabulous place. I recommend it without hesitation and will return very soon. Thank you again to the entire team for such a wonderful stay.

22/09/2024: Had a great lunch here, sitting outside in the pretty square. The Maître d' speaks perfect English (with a strong US accent!) and was able to explain the finer points of the menu. Closes for the winter months but definitely looking forward to returning next year.

19/09/2024: We booked this hotel over the phone. We arrived late in the afternoon and had dinner. Very kindly welcomed by the landlady who took us to our spacious, clean and well-equipped room (newly renovated!). We went down for dinner. The menu offered included 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts to choose from. After some advice from the waiter, very pleasant and friendly, knowing his dishes well, we placed our order. And what a surprise it was a dinner full of flavors, an explosion in the mouth which exalted the right mix of spices and a Limousin meat cooked to perfection accompanied by small vegetables which went well with this beautiful piece of meat!!. All the praised products were fresh and cooked by the Chef 🧑‍🍳 Edith, the boss!!. It was such a beautiful and good place that we had lunch there on Sunday afternoon. We highly recommend Douce Demeure in Mortemart, the only village classified as "the most beautiful village in France in Haute Vienne!!. See you soon for another "gastronomic" stopover!!."

18/12/2024: Coffee in one of the streets of old Paris. I had cappuccino and hot chocolate. Beautiful coffee in the winter. If you pass by its street, I recommend trying it.

14/12/2024: Café du Centre was an exceptional dining experience and one of the highlights of our visit to Paris. The waiter who attended to us was outstanding – incredibly kind, attentive, and in great spirits. As foreigners, this kind of warm hospitality is something we really appreciate, especially in Paris, where it’s not always the norm. The food was phenomenal. We tried the duck and the ravioli with mushrooms and truffle, both of which were absolutely delicious. For dessert, we indulged in the profiterole served on French toast, which was the perfect way to end the meal. The atmosphere and vibes were fantastic – cozy, welcoming, and the kind of place that makes you want to linger. We can’t wait to return the next time we’re in Paris. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an amazing dining experience!

07/12/2025: Ate Saturday at lunchtime. No complaints about the menu or the staff. The only downside was accepting barking dogs and having to share a meal with them; it makes me not want to go back.

27/12/2025: An accessible Michelin-starred restaurant offering three different menus. We opted for the gourmet menu: the dishes were well-prepared, with sophisticated and refined flavors. However, having dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants, I found the service didn't quite live up to the standards one expects from a Michelin-starred establishment. We noted several disappointing aspects during the meal. For example, the "surf and turf" dish was served in a fish stock broth with a chanterelle mushroom, but unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy it as no spoons were brought to us. Furthermore, the wine service was inconsistent: we had to ask the waiter several times to have it poured. As for bread, it was only served at the beginning (one small roll per person) and then not at all during the rest of the meal. We only received a second portion with the cheese course, and even then, it was insufficient. What I mean by citing these examples is that customers who frequent a Michelin-starred restaurant aren't just looking for culinary excellence, but also a complete experience. In this type of establishment, every detail counts to achieve the expected level of excellence. At this stage, in my opinion, this restaurant hasn't quite reached that point yet.

08/01/2026: Perfect cuisine, impeccable and attentive service!!! Thank you for everything. If I had to find a tiny flaw, but really just to nitpick, a more refined ambiance and decor would be nice!

20/11/2025: A feast for the eyes: the setting and ambiance are uncluttered, and the restaurant exudes elegance, simplicity, and refinement from the moment you step inside. Our table overlooked the kitchen, a delightful experience as we watched the chef and his team at work preparing their dishes. The sommelier and waitress were neither intrusive nor overbearing; a perfect balance that respected and preserved the privacy of each table. A feast for the palate: from the amuse-bouches to the desserts, a real surprise: we discovered that Michelin-starred restaurants serve portions that aren't overly generous (though they can be quite substantial), but rather perfectly balanced and proportionate. We didn't leave hungry at all, quite the opposite, and we're certainly not complaining! From the truffled porcini mushroom velouté to the Kouglof (I promise you, try it; I didn't like it before either), there wasn't a single flaw in this meal. Thank you for continuing to maintain this atmosphere and these quality dishes, and we will be back.

24/01/2026: If you're passing through and looking for a cozy, welcoming, and carefully prepared meal, this is the place. A very good white wine to accompany the sole, which was perfect and incredibly fresh. I had a French ribeye steak, which was very tender and flavorful. The homemade dessert was perfect. The coffees were delicious. And let's not forget the staff, who were very professional, welcoming, and always smiling.

20/01/2026: L’Admiral is a fantastic bar-restaurant and a true paradise for seafood lovers. The oysters are exceptionally fresh and absolutely delicious, with a deep, pure taste of the sea that immediately stands out. Each bite feels vibrant and authentic, clearly reflecting the quality of the products and the care taken in their selection. Pair these oysters with a great glass of wine, and you truly find yourself in heaven. The combination of fresh seafood, excellent wine, and a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere makes this place a real gem. A must-visit address for anyone who appreciates high-quality seafood and wants to enjoy the true flavors of the sea.

25/01/2026: A very disappointing experience, absolutely avoid it. Arrived at noon, left at 3:30 pm… for a simple lunch! 45 minutes to take our order, another 45 minutes to be served, then half an hour to have our plates cleared. Endless, slow, and completely disorganized service. What's most appalling is that, looking at the reviews, comments dating back more than six years already mention extremely slow service. Clearly, the establishment takes absolutely no account of its customers' feedback. Nothing has changed in all these years. Coke Zero was served without a visible bottle or can: probably from a large bottle, unfortunately completely flat. Savings made at the customer's expense. The side dishes are fixed, with no choice or variety: for all the meat dishes, it's always the same thing: gratin, green beans, and an endive. For years they've been serving the same cafeteria-style sides, without ever questioning their approach. If you were hoping to accompany your grilled meat or stew with some good homemade fries, forget it: "We don't make fries." No children's options on the menu. The menu is unclear and poorly explained: sides aren't listed, desserts are vague ("fruit tart"... but which ones?). You have to ask for everything. Cheese is served hastily and frankly stingily. The atmosphere and food are like something out of a retirement home: slow, sluggish, and lacking any energy. Several times, I felt like they were about to get out the Scrabble game. We even had a fit of laughter, appalled by the atmosphere and the slow service. Lots of unnecessary frills: bread served sparingly, a tiny piece per person with tongs, and on top of that, frozen bread! All this for an overpriced menu, completely unjustified given the quality, portion sizes, and service offered. Also of note, in early December 2025: Mr. Hervé Jonathan, Prefect of Eure-et-Loir, ordered the administrative closure of the establishment “Le Relais des Remparts” in Nogent-le-Roi for breaches of hygiene and maintenance regulations. If I had known all this beforehand, I would never have come! A lot of pretension, no progress despite the years, and a completely neglected customer experience. Zero stars.

02/01/2026: I had a bad experience a few years ago... For the sake of simplicity and efficiency (I work nearby), I went back. And I'm so glad I did! A fantastic daily menu with fresh, not frozen, dishes, contrary to what I'd read. An excellent waiter. During my 3-day break, I ate lunch there three days in a row. Bravo!
