25/07/2026: The overall impression is cold due to the very businesslike service. Our menu was served with extreme precision. That felt distant. I did not like the white wine by the glass I ordered, and the sommelier was kind enough to offer another white wine that did not need to be paid for. Kudos to the sommelier. The food was excellent.

And other bites: farm-fresh and organic. Welcoming staff. Deserves the praise it's received online. In short: flawless. A must-try in Paimpol. Remember to book.

26/07/2026: Authentic Mediterranean cuisine, everything is homemade with just the right amount of olive oil, garlic, and other typical southern ingredients. A charming little shaded terrace, very peaceful. We come back every year, never disappointed; the aioli is excellent, but so is everything else—it's always difficult to choose, as everything is delicious! Excellent service.

18/07/2026: I had the bourride which was easily the most delicious thing I ate during a month in France. The only downside was that it was more than I could comfortably eat, so I had to pass on dessert.

21/07/2026: Generous and delicious cuisine. Special mention to the cassoulet and the Camembert...as my children would say, "absolutely divine," even in 28-degree heat! The service is lovely, the place is super pleasant, and frankly, the taste buds are in ecstasy. So, no regrets whatsoever, and if the opportunity arises again, a stop will be a must.

28/06/2026: The owners give you a warm and friendly welcome. The lady of the house is in the kitchen and the gentleman is in the dining room. The cassoulet is excellent and plentiful. The furnished terrace outside, with its view of the castle and rivers, is a real bonus. They do not accept holiday vouchers.

16/07/2026: We just had lunch; the place is small and rustic, just the way we like it! There's a large fireplace in the dining room, and the chef prepares the grill and cooks the meat in front of the guests. What can I say? The quality of the meat and the cooking are superb; we absolutely loved both the flavor and the cooking! Both the chef and the staff were so kind, understanding us even though we don't speak French, and they chatted with us. The salted caramel crème brûlée was divine! We highly recommend stopping by if you want to eat excellent meat cooked to perfection!

11/07/2026: The local meat cooked over a fireplace is excellent. The fish skewers are also very good. The desserts with fresh fruit and mascarpone are delicious.

22/05/2026: We hadn't made a reservation, didn't know it was necessary, and walked in at 7:00 PM. It was completely full, but the very friendly owner went to see if he could still arrange something. And luckily, he still had a high table with bar stools at the back of the restaurant. We had an incredibly delicious meal; the nems (spring rolls); I have never had them this good! The steak tartar and the beef stew; our main courses were delicious, and the tiramisu too! We really had a great meal for a low price; super! Afterwards, we spoke briefly with the owner, who started this restaurant 15 years ago at the age of 22. It is simply always full, and I understand why. We said goodbye with a handshake and kisses for my wife! Service a 10, atmosphere a 10, and truly, the food a solid 10! 21-5-2026: back at the Mec in shorts! We sat outside nicely; the street was closed to traffic, and a large terrace had been set up where you could sit comfortably. What lovely, hospitable service this restaurant has. You feel welcome and are served with great pleasure. I can be brief about the food there: amazing! Be sure to finish the meal with their baba because it is superb. We will definitely be back in October; I am already looking forward to it…

31/07/2026: Fantastic... Everything you could want when visiting this region. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the setting is lovely, and the food is delicious. The duck breast was perfect and generous, the fish was delicious, and the sweetbreads in brioche were also excellent. In short, a superb and authentic discovery, far removed from tourist traps. I highly recommend it and extend my sincere thanks to the restaurant team for this wonderful experience.

The service was perfect (despite the crowd), the rib was cooked to perfection, and the atmosphere was festive and friendly.
