19/09/2026: On a recent visit to Bayeux we had dinner in 3 different restaurants on succeding evenings and La Rapiere was far and away the best. The atmosphere and decor, the friendly but professional service, and the delicious food were all top quality. We would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a good restaurant in Bayeux.

04/09/2026: Extremely unpleasant service. I had a very bad experience with a waitress who became particularly aggressive because I called her "Miss" instead of "Madam." I obviously had no intention of being disrespectful. I can perfectly understand that she prefers to be called "Madam." However, her tone and attitude were completely disproportionate and frankly unpleasant. A little courtesy would have been more than enough. It's a shame, because this attitude ruined our experience. I won't be returning to this establishment, which is a real pity because the crepes were excellent.

27/08/2026: A warm and attentive welcome. Two ladies are at the helm, taking care of you with genuine warmth and serving excellent crêpes. I ordered the "complète" (ham, egg, and cheese), as I often do; it was delicious and much less greasy than in some more upscale establishments. The cider was truly excellent, and the butter and sugar was just right. A very good place.

17/09/2026: We had a wonderful time; the welcome was warm, the place was calm and very pleasant; and the food was simply delicious! The dishes were superbly prepared and generous, a real treat – you absolutely must go!

14/09/2026: The service was perfect. Not too long a wait. I was a little disappointed with the food. That doesn't mean it wasn't good, but as I was saying to my friend who was with me, a good brasserie would have been just as good for a lower price.

We were amazed by his efficiency, all while maintaining a smile. On the plate, the quality of the food is consistently excellent from appetizer to dessert. The cuisine is superb, thanks to the chef – never disappointed. Whether it's the seasoning, the intensity, the finesse, the balance, or the consistency, everything is perfect! Number one in the Loire Valley, we'll be back again and again.

However, a bad experience with an unfriendly waiter who, moreover, refused to acknowledge the billing error: two complete wine pairing menus, one of which was alcohol-free, were charged at the same price, contrary to the prices listed on the menu. Check your bills!

12/09/2026: For discerning food lovers like us, the "Pily" experience was breathtaking and exhilarating. The freshness and perfect balance of textures were simply stunning. Each dish was a work of art. The wines, whether original or wonderfully complex, were always a perfect complement to the food. The staff was attentive, quick, and efficient. In short, THANK YOU to the entire team. A perfect 10/10 is well deserved.
