01/02/2026: We've made it a habit to go there with the children. The food is very good, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The small play area keeps the children entertained, which is very convenient.

29/01/2026: I'd like to share my experience at this bar; I came to the Cock and Bull with two friends who were ordering drinks (important for later). Since I couldn't afford it, but still wanted to spend some time with my friends at a bar, I didn't order any drinks there. The beers are €8, which is understandable in the city center, but way out of my budget that evening. So I brought my own beer without thinking to ask permission, and I admit that was a mistake! I'm fully aware of it! However, one of the waitresses' reactions was completely disproportionate. She snatched the drink from me, spoke to me very aggressively, poured the beer on the floor, then crushed the can before leaving with enormous aggression and disrespect. I completely understand that a bar might refuse outside drinks, but there are ways to say it. A simple reminder or a ban on drinking would have been enough. Her attitude made me extremely uncomfortable and shocked other people around me as well. It was a huge scene and ruined the evening, even though everything was going well. It's all the more unfortunate because, apart from this incident, the bar seemed really cool: the atmosphere was good, the other staff members and customers were very friendly, and there was a good selection of drinks and food—no complaints there! The problem clearly wasn't with the establishment as a whole, but solely with this waitress's behavior, which is truly problematic. Thanks :)

12/12/2025: Questionable quality; I had a very bad stomach eating a simple dish swimming in oil...it doesn't say the meat is halal, which is wrong. Avoid this place!

10/12/2025: Yesterday I discovered Marie-Thé and... I went back today, I enjoyed it so much, as did my fellow trainees! Delicious dishes, scrumptious tarts, all "homemade": bravo to the Chef, and thank you for the very warm welcome!

06/01/2026: A very friendly atmosphere. A warm and typically Poitevin decor. The terrine was divine, the homemade fries with vegetable shortening... The chicken, the dessert... I loved everything!

28/11/2025: I wandered into this place on a grey, rainy November afternoon in Nuits-Saint-Georges and instantly liked it. Inside, it’s warm and quiet. A cosy tea room with a surprisingly rich selection of teas served in proper kettles instead of cheap bags. Simple, artisanal, and exactly what you want when the weather turns. The staff were friendly, the kind who make you feel like you’ve been here before. Parking right at the door is a pain, but a larger lot is five minutes away, so no drama. If you’re following the Grand Cru route and need a break from wine, this spot works beautifully. Honey, teas, sweets to enjoy on the spot or take home, plus a calm corner to breathe. I’d happily return, especially on a cold day 👍

11/07/2025: I had lunch here and met Yannis the chef who recommended an Angus beef which was superbly accompanied by his new maître d'hôtel sauce and cooked as requested. I recommend it. I had a great time, thanks to the whole team.

10/07/2025: The service was a bit rushed. It had to be fast. The wrong drink was delivered first, but it was quickly corrected. Loud surroundings, but the atmosphere was pleasant. The carpaccio was good, but there was too much balsamic vinegar on it. Keep it simple.

28/01/2025: We went there on 31/12. There were too many people and it was impossible to dance. The music was great.

27/01/2025: It had a good vibe and cool music, the band that day was pretty good. Its very crowded on weekends with long lines. There is less space downstairs so a good option is to go on Sunday night. The place was still full downstairs but there was no long queue outside. You can get tickets on spot; it is overhyped but in the end its people who bring life to everything and there are plenty of them here on weekends. I got the La La Land cocktail which was nice.

30/09/2024: Two evenings in a row. The first evening was good, the second evening was a disappointment, including tuna that was much overcooked and therefore tasted dry. The service could be friendlier, with a hostess who puts the plates in front of you without even looking at anyone or saying anything. I cannot recommend this restaurant
