12/07/2026: A truly exceptional restaurant, a must-try! A house cocktail made with violets, as beautiful as it was delicious. A lamb shank so tender it barely needed a knife, presented with an appetizing flair. And to finish, a pavlova with a light and airy pistachio cream and a red berry coulis, the perfect ending to this wonderful meal. The waitress was dedicated, highly professional, and always had a smile on her face! Thank you to the kitchen for these delicious dishes and to the staff for a truly delightful experience despite the intense heat.

18/05/2026: A very good restaurant: quality ingredients, original dishes in a lovely setting. The only downside was the much-touted terrace, which meant we had to eat in the cold despite the blankets kindly provided. Remember to ask when you make your reservation whether your table is inside or outside so you can dress accordingly 😉

20/03/2026: Keep walking, good people! Industrial food, nothing fresh, except maybe a bagged salad. More drinkers than eaters, a drunken atmosphere! Fries as greasy as can be, cooked in motor oil. Saint Macoux has better options, and the rest of the area is better too. This place is nothing like anything else in its class; its only advantage is its accessibility!

15/05/2026: Fantastic cafe, great staff, great service, great food, and wine!! Managed to accommodate our family of 8! This was our 2nd visit here as booked in for an overnight stop on the way to the Alps. Christine and her team looked after us very well and we look forward to seeing them all again in 2027!!

07/07/2026: As part of a training course, I had the opportunity to have lunch at this establishment and I was very satisfied. The service is quick and efficient: a starter and a main course are served in just 45 minutes, which is ideal when you're short on time. The value for money is excellent, with a set menu at €17.50 including a starter and a main course, or a main course and a dessert. The cuisine is varied, fresh, and the portions are generous. The staff is dynamic, professional, and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

24/05/2026: We came as a group of 6 for lunch. Homemade cuisine with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The manager was very welcoming and excellent. Major negative point: the waiter. Perhaps he's new to the profession, and that's not the issue, but he insisted we had only ordered 5 aperitifs when there were 6 of us (well, no, you might not have heard!), and asked us to pass our plates to him because he didn't have extendable arms… As a restaurant owner, I found his manner of speaking to customers very inappropriate. Already overwhelmed with 5 tables, good luck with the rest of the season!

It was a pleasure to be welcomed and assisted by a very pleasant and smiling waiter. Some of the negative comments therefore seem completely unjustified. An address to remember.
