26/01/2026: Excellent place! We arrived late, at the end of lunch service, a family of five adults with a dog and a baby in a stroller, and the welcome was simply perfect. Genuine kindness, delicious food with exceptional value for money, and a lovely manager. We felt truly welcome, thank you so much!

02/01/2026: The new owners are very welcoming. Nice Christmas decorations in the entrance. The room is a bit dated but impeccably clean, apart from some pillows as flat as banknotes and the shower head covered in limescale 🥺🙄. The floorboards still creak, but that's to be expected... Great stay, we'll be back as we do every year...

And as if that weren't enough, the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. You always feel so welcome there. I highly recommend it!

04/11/2025: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I went to see them to have my shock absorber cartridge tightened. They did it, but the following week the same thing happened again: my cartridge came loose (a known problem with this shock). So I went back and asked them to tighten my shock with a strap wrench. The mechanic told me it absolutely had to be removed from the bike to tighten it, to which I replied that no, his colleague had done it the week before without removing it. He argued with me and decided to remove it anyway. One of the screws was supposedly seized, so he stripped the screw head and tried to reshape it with a Torx socket, but he never succeeded. Meanwhile, his colleague came over to my bike and fiddled with my derailleur adjustment. I explained clearly and politely that I wasn't there for that (I'd been waiting for almost an hour!). After a while, he realized it was possible to tighten it without removing it from the bike! He suggested using Loctite, to which I agreed. He then started unscrewing the cartridge on the bike. He had forgotten to deflate the tire; you can imagine the explosion that produced. He finally tightened it and gave me back my bike. When it came time to pay, he charged me for a derailleur adjustment I hadn't requested, and for the time he spent on it (I hadn't asked for a derailleur adjustment at all!). And on top of that, the derailleur was even worse adjusted than before! At the same time, I went back to see him to ask him to find me a screw, but he refused. I had to order one from the manufacturer, which cost me an extra €60! Dishonest mechanic and shoddy workmanship. I absolutely do not recommend this repairman! (And by the way, it took me 30 seconds to remove that screw cleanly, lying on the floor at night with a Torx wrench and a hammer!!!)

15/09/2024: Excellent cuisine but I am extremely shocked that the cutlery was not changed between the starter and the main course. So my wife attacked an excellent quail dish with her fork which had been used in the crab starter! On a gastronomic level it is disastrous and on a principle level it does not sit well with people. I invite you to think about it.

27/01/2026: Shameful! We made a reservation at 9:00 AM for 2:00 PM for eight people at this restaurant! We arrived around 1:15 PM for a drink on the terrace. At 1:45 PM, we went to ask if our table was ready, and the owner clearly told us to get lost, saying, "2:00 PM is 2:00 PM!" We returned 15 minutes later, and the table wasn't ready! We waited 40 minutes standing up until a table became available. The waitress repeatedly told me that she was taking payment for a table and that as soon as the other customers left, she would set the table for us. The other customers left, and it should have been our turn, but the owner decided otherwise and sent in a so-called "Eric" whom he must have known! Unacceptable! So we left because we hate being treated like fools! I do not recommend this place! The staff is appalling and dishonest! We wasted an hour and a half of our time instead of skiing, with an already quite expensive lift pass! First time I've ever left a negative review, but it's well deserved!

27/01/2026: Superb restaurant, quiet, clean, beautiful view. The food is fresh and delicious. Pleasant and fast service! In fact, we've been going here exclusively for years! But that was before. We came this week (January 2026) and were very disappointed! I'm taking away two stars! First of all, it was very cold in the restaurant; we ate in our down jackets. The fish and chips tasted processed, the filet mignon with mustard sauce had tough meat, and the pizza was okay. Fortunately, the service is still friendly.

02/02/2026: We would also like to "clarify a few points." Alternative truths are all the rage these days; a certain "Donald" also uses them frequently. A fad? Fact #1: You begin your response with the phrase "You booked a room at a non-refundable rate." A "convenient alternative truth." We didn't book a room; we booked, and you accepted payment for a room AND dinner. Fact #2: You accepted our reservation on YOUR website (not ours) for an overnight stay AND dinner. Fact #3: You accepted payment for the overnight stay AND dinner. Fact #4: You informed us by phone two days before the overnight stay that you couldn't provide dinner, even though we had already booked AND paid for it. Fact #5: You directed us to another hotel/restaurant nearby for dinner, but it was closed for its annual holiday on the day of the reservation. Fact #6: There are no other restaurants nearby. Fact #7: You cannot expect your guests to scrutinize your website from A to Z as they would when signing a contract to purchase a house, especially if you have already accepted the reservation AND payment for an overnight stay AND dinner. Fact #8: Mastercard was unable to verify that we had also booked and paid for dinner simply because your order confirmation #4194173164 does not mention dinner, but only states "€70 Supplement." Your claim that Mastercard agrees with you is based on your false statements. Fact #9: The most expensive room at your B&B costs €135. We booked and paid for a room at €106.50 + tax + dinner, totaling €178.26. Why would we have paid €178.26 when your most expensive room costs €135? Fact #10: We have since noticed that your website, as of February 2, 2026, no longer offers the option to book dinner along with the room on Sundays, whereas this was previously possible. Isn't that very strange? When you called to unilaterally cancel our reservation, you began by saying, "You cannot cancel the reservation and we will not refund you." Who created this “very tense exchange and tone”? We readily accepted your offer to book another restaurant nearby, and as you were well aware, that restaurant was closed. Furthermore, one of the ladies (who speaks Spanish) at your B&B also works at the other hotel restaurant where you directed us for dinner. We often stay overnight in the area, and previously also at your B&B, as well as at the hotel restaurant you recommended. We will be returning to the area on February 16, 2026, and, failing a refund, we see no other option than to file a formal complaint with the local police in Bletterans for fraud. Peter & Debbie

20/12/2025: From the outside, it looks unassuming, but once inside, it's warm, welcoming, and the service is equally impressive. We hadn't even started eating, and it already felt like a great evening. We expected good food and a taste of local produce; the menu and daily specials are simple and effective, but here too, you get a sense of something a little different. The dishes are almost gourmet, but not quite; otherwise, it would be more like a home-style meal! It's delicious, it's generous but not overly so, it's expertly prepared—bravo to the chef! From the moment we arrived until we left, we were completely satisfied. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you for this timeless moment at this time of year! If you're in the area, why go anywhere else if you want to eat well in a fantastic setting with a relaxed atmosphere? Don't hesitate. I didn't rate the hotel; we were only there for the restaurant.

13/12/2025: We stopped by for a drink one afternoon and were pleasantly surprised by the unique charm of the place, which had an authentic atmosphere. We were served promptly and kindly by a gentleman who clearly knew his stuff. Our only disappointment was with the hot drinks: we found them rather unremarkable, perhaps a little bland. However, this didn't spoil our enjoyable time!
