05/03/2026: Very good food with original and successful blends of flavors, unfortunately we happened to be there on an evening when the atmosphere was very/too noisy for us!

02/03/2026: We tasted the foie gras and found it sorely lacking in flavor. We then tried the fish with beets: what a surprise to find only a single small cube of fish and a piece of onion! The rest was just beets and a walnut sauce. Again, the taste was nonexistent; this dish was a real disappointment. We also tried the beef tartare with mayonnaise. It was literally minced meat, mayonnaise, a few chopped green onions, and half an egg. It was slightly better, but it absolutely did not justify the price. Regarding the wine, you have to be very careful: the servers don't warn you that the style of wine offered is much more acidic than traditional wines. (I'm not saying the wine was bad or flawed; it's simply the style the winemaker was aiming for, but you should be informed.) The service is practically nonexistent; you have to search for the servers to order anything. Finally, when it came time to pay the bill, we pointed out to the waiter that we were leaving the wine bottle almost full. We tried to explain the lack of information during the service, but his only reaction was to smile and leave without a word.

16/05/2026: A wonderful discovery at Moulin des Saveurs in Barbaste. The place is full of charm, with its cave-like dining room located directly opposite the Moulin des Tours. Chef Sébastien Gilbert's cuisine is masterful from start to finish: excellent pan-seared foie gras, very fresh tuna tataki, perfectly seared prawns, and incredibly tender lamb. The meal ended beautifully with cheeses and a lovely pineapple-based dessert. Special mention goes to the excellent wine pairing recommendations. The staff is attentive, and the value for money is truly exceptional for the complete menu with wines. This is a must-visit in the region, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

02/07/2026: Far enough from the road to fully enjoy the pleasant terrace, reasonable prices, and friendly, welcoming service. They have triple Carmelite beer on tap, which is very rare in a brasserie.

09/06/2026: The staff is fantastic, attentive, and always smiling. The routes are on the hillsides and there's something for everyone, from beginners to seasoned climbers! There's even a children's area. I'll definitely be back!

28/05/2026: Great place for climbing. Personally, I only do bouldering, but there's also route climbing. The changing rooms have two showers, one of which is wheelchair accessible. You can eat there, either on the terrace or inside, or have a drink.

The welcome was immediately warm, making us feel at ease in this exceptional setting, decorated with refined taste. The dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant was entirely satisfactory. The cuisine is original, sometimes daring, but always beautifully executed, a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The service is simple, professional, and efficient, perfectly befitting a one-Michelin-starred establishment. A special mention goes to the dessert, which demonstrates technical mastery and a taste for challenge. One suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the wine selection, which could complement the entire tasting menu. We missed out on a perfect pairing with a white wine from Anjou for our meal, and we would have appreciated the expert advice of a professional sommelier. Thank you nonetheless for this exceptional culinary experience. Breakfast was perfect in the morning. A great place for a romantic weekend.

The atmosphere is friendly and festive, the owner and staff are lovely, and above all, the food is delicious with a menu that's regularly updated and well-chosen. Special mention goes to the pizza chef—it's a new addition and what a treat! You can order takeout online, even on Friday evenings, and the pizzas are excellent. Well done and thank you!

26/05/2026: A lovely evening spent on the terrace. We received a tarte flambée as an aperitif before our drinks (we didn't find the concept very logical). My friend ordered a gratinée tarte flambée for her main course. It was soggy, heavy, and mushy... not particularly good in the end. My gourmet salad, on the other hand, was excellent, as was the duck breast for the third person. The desserts: strawberries, absolutely delicious!

29/06/2026: Right next to the cathedral is this very welcoming bistro. We chose it partly because of the staff's attire, and it turned out to be a great choice! The salads with chicken cutlets (fresh!) and the burgers are both excellent. The apple tarte taténe is excellent 🤩 Fast service, very kind staff. In short... if you're passing through, it's worth a stop!

25/05/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. There were four of us, and we waited over an hour to be served, even though we had all ordered the daily special: mussels. Such a long wait for a dish that's supposed to be quick to prepare is hardly acceptable. It's a shame, because it spoiled the meal and the overall experience.
