The excuses (wedding the day before, two servers absent, a band playing...) meant we had to find a table for 14 people in four hours. How can we validate previous reviews?

26/08/2026: A wonderful little restaurant in Roquevaire, with a terrace shaded by a beautiful olive tree. The atmosphere is cozy, and you could easily spend hours there! The dishes on the menu are equally generous and delicious, made with quality ingredients! I loved the duck skewer and the potato and carrot purée, and especially for dessert, don't miss the homemade chocolate fondant! A real treat! I highly recommend it!

27/07/2026: A wonderful reunion dinner with my Breton friends who adore the château and the quality of service, as well as the kindness of the Thouvenin family. They were dedicated to creating an unforgettable experience for us, not forgetting the sommelier, Emmanuel, who seems to be part of the furniture with his famous cheese trolley, and the chef, Mr. Thouvenin, who is always striving to surprise us. 28/08/2026: Discovered this lovely establishment, with a superb view of the Lot River from the first-floor dining room. The starters were fine, the gravlax salmon was good, though the beef carpaccio could have used a little more seasoning. The main courses were enjoyable, from the duck breast to the scallops and the seafood platter. The desserts were delicious. The wine list was interesting. The service was perfect and well-paced, provided by a charming and friendly host. In short, a great place to eat.

24/08/2026: The cappuccino and latte macchiato were not good. Way too much milk and way too little coffee. During our vacation, this was the worst coffee experience.

28/09/2026: No comment on the restaurant since we couldn't have lunch there this Sunday. We tried to book a table by phone during the week without success. There was no option to leave a message. Completely fed up, I tried booking via Facebook on Thursday (a first for me). I specified the day, time, and number of guests. A few hours later, I received this brief message: "OK, table reserved." We arrived on time, only to be told that we hadn't booked and that there were no reservations via Facebook??? And that the restaurant was full!!! On a Sunday in September, in a large space, with only a handful of tables occupied at 12:30 pm!!! It's clear I won't be going back anytime soon! This establishment is clearly disorganized when it comes to managing reservations. 👎👎👎👎

06/10/2026: Everything was delicious. We were short on time, and thankfully the chef, whom we had warned, reminded us of the time, as we were enjoying ourselves so much that we had completely forgotten about our watches. The three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) was €21, and everything was homemade. I particularly enjoyed the chicken tagine with preserved lemons: I think the lemons were also homemade because they were so much better than store-bought ones—no comparison. The banana-coconut-rum tart was very tasty. Thank you, Céline, for your warm welcome, your wonderful cooking, and your attentive service.

18/09/2026: A small restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Céline acts as both chef and server. The dishes are made on-site with locally sourced ingredients. I was blown away by the dill potatoes on the beef kefta plate. And don't even get me started on her chocolate fondant or her almond and plum cake ❤️ A pure delight for the taste buds. However, don't forget to make a reservation. Good to know: Céline also does takeout 😉

05/10/2026: Significant decline in the quality of the food, sauerkraut full of water and just warm and less substantial, disastrous cordon bleu, sautéed potatoes that are ultimately just boiled, cold sauces, burnt spezeles... what a shame, we used to love coming here.
