12/05/2026: This Michelin-starred hotel and restaurant is very well located on the road south. The enclosed and secure courtyard (included in the room price) for parking is a real plus. The rooms are classic and the bedding is of very good quality. The restaurant is pleasant with well-spaced tables. The service is a bit old-fashioned and traditional, but the meal, while also quite classic, is outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

11/05/2026: Back at Le Carré d'Aléthius after more than 12 years… and our love for it remains undiminished. We discovered this magnificent restaurant during a family trip years ago, and on our way back from the Aubrac region towards Switzerland, we decided to stop there again. What an excellent idea! Everything was perfect from start to finish: refined cuisine, full of elegance and mastery, impeccable service, and a smiling, attentive, and genuinely pleasant staff. The wine pairings were also remarkable, with some truly wonderful local discoveries. This lunch was a truly timeless experience, a pure moment of happiness and indulgence. It's always a great pleasure to visit Le Carré d'Aléthius. Thank you to the entire team for this incredible experience and for your consistency over the years.

05/07/2026: A pleasant lunch break in a beautiful and peaceful setting. The menu is limited, which is understandable. The sirloin steak was very good. The platter could have been more generous, and there should have been more vegetables in the bowl. The quality was excellent. Quick service and a very warm welcome.

14/06/2026: For a meal for two, the price was quite reasonable overall at €72.30. However, the restaurant menu arrived with a dead chip. A minor issue with the food: Starter: Tomato and burrata carpaccio It wasn't burrata (which is normally creamy inside) but buffalo mozzarella (soft) that I received on my plate! I shared it with my husband, only to find a piece of the packaging in our starter. Main Course: For me, the suggested order was sea bass fillet with a sauce swimming in oil. The fish was very good, but the rice was inedible. Luckily, I had asked for a small plate of raw vegetables (I received beets, carrots, and celery). My husband ordered beef fillet with green peppercorn sauce and fries, the meat swimming in a sauce that was also swimming in oil. It's a shame to see such a beautiful establishment, because inside the atmosphere is completely different; it's very dark. The decor leaves much to be desired, and we were bitten by mosquitoes, or I don't know if that was the cause. On the positive side, the waitress was very kind, understanding, and professional from start to finish.

08/07/2026: I've never written a review in my life. If I go to a bad restaurant, I usually just go about my day and regret it for the rest of the day. My dad made a reservation for this restaurant today and, although I was very skeptical, I decided to go along with him. That was absolutely ridiculous. I genuinely wish I could rate my experience 0/5. Literally everything about this experience was horrendous. First, they advertise that you can eat while looking at the Eiffel Tower. When you see the insane prices, you try to justify them because it's supposedly right next to the Eiffel Tower. You know what's funny? You can't even see the thing because there's a massive tree directly in front of the restaurant. The prices are ridiculous. I think we paid €30 for a pasta that tasted worse than store-bought pasta from Walmart. If you look at the pictures, there's literally a pool of water sitting at the bottom of the bowl. We also ordered the €25 beef tartare, and it looked brown. To me, it tasted like old minced meat covered in ketchup. The duck confit tasted stale. The entrées came with a side salad, and literally every leaf of lettuce we ate had grains of sand in it. Every bite was crunchy because of the sand. We told the waiter, and he brought us a whole new bowl of salad. Guess what? More sand. This is by far the worst dining experience I've ever had. I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was so unbelievably disappointing that I felt like I had to. I hope this saves other families from spending their money at what I experienced as a dirty tourist trap.

03/05/2026: We had an exceptional stay at La Maison Bleue. Everything was perfect: the service, the welcome, the location, the comfort, and the view from the room. We will definitely return! The experience at the two-Michelin-starred restaurant was a success, with only one minor drawback: not being a regular at Michelin-starred restaurants, I would have appreciated knowing that the aperitif offered at the beginning of the meal was an extra. I wouldn't have ordered a €65 glass of wine (!) without knowing this. A little more transparency would therefore be appreciated (the same goes for the digestifs/hot drinks at the end of the meal).
