01/08/2026: Lovely staff and delicious food!

01/08/2026: We had a very pleasant evening with friends on the terrace, under the mulberry trees. Caroline and Lucie's service was attentive and warm. The meal was excellent. We chose the three-course menu, which was very good value for money. We had already been last month and appreciated that the offerings changed according to what was fresh at the market. The place truly has a special charm with the beauty of the old stone walls. I highly recommend it. We will be back.

19/07/2026: Family atmosphere; reservations are recommended. The inn is small and intimate, and you feel valued. The service is discreet and unhurried. They serve a delicious Vosgiflette. I recommend it.

19/07/2026: A very beautiful and generous plate. The mirabelle plum crème brûlée is wonderful, as is the gourmet coffee. Homemade, perfect. I highly recommend it.

17/07/2026: The value for money remains excellent. However, we were a little disappointed with the menu, which lacked surprises. Perhaps this was due to a desire to maintain a price despite the increased cost of ingredients, but there were fewer delightful surprises in terms of flavor than before. It is still very good and beautifully presented, with excellent service.

28/07/2026: A true gastronomic gem, Le 7ème Continent transports me every time. The cuisine, service, and wines are all of exceptional quality. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. A huge thank you to Clement for his expertise and his way with pairing the dishes and wines. He's a magician!

27/07/2026: We had the 5-course Inspiration Menu, delicious from aperitif to dessert, a real treat for the taste buds 😋 Expect to pay around €15 for a glass of wine and €4.20 for a small carafe of water (50cl). The staff were very welcoming and friendly 😊

16/07/2026: A good crêperie. The vegetarian galette: the vegetables could have been seasoned more, and the salmon wrap was very good and fresh, but perhaps it would have benefited from being served with a salad, for example, given the very large plate it was on. The tea and cider were very tasty.

02/07/2026: A very good steakhouse in Montgeron, with a good selection and helpful staff. Prices are a bit high in the evening, but the lunch menu is very affordable (and it's advisable to book ahead... the restaurant is always packed!). The only downside is the limited space (tables and proximity), which makes the place rather noisy.

01/07/2026: Always excellent, the new additions to the menu are appreciated, as are the signature dishes. The pavlova is refreshing in this warm weather, as are the salads. The service is always great, and thank you to the new young woman.

12/07/2026: A warm welcome, steak tartare prepared in front of the customers and seasoned to their liking, and if you're celebrating a birthday, you're even treated to a candle and some music ☺️. The dishes are beautifully presented, and from appetizer to dessert, it's a pure delight! The servers are attentive, responsive, and offer excellent advice. The setting is perfect for a romantic dinner or a family meal. Another great bonus is that dogs are welcome and pampered by the staff (treats and water are provided). I highly recommend this place ☺️ we will definitely be back!

05/08/2026: We came with our two Australian Shepherds. The owner moved us to a different table so we would be more comfortable. The service was excellent, and the food and value for money were outstanding. Highly recommended.

04/08/2026: A great "Bouillon"-style restaurant in La Rochelle! It's a beautifully decorated restaurant with a truly friendly and pleasant atmosphere. The concept and the food: The ideal place to enjoy a variety of simple, traditional dishes that you don't have time (or find difficult) to cook at home. It's perfect for indulging in slightly unusual dishes (kidneys, snails, chicken liver, etc.) without forcing the rest of the table to share things they might not enjoy. There's something for everyone! The portions: At first glance, the plates don't seem generous, but don't be fooled! When you choose the set menu (starter, main course, and dessert), the balance is perfect and more than enough, especially in the evening. The service: Very professional and exceptionally well-managed. I was served by Isabelle, who manages to maintain a brisk pace while remaining very courteous, polite, and smiling with the customers. Prices: The set menus are reasonable and reflect the quality of the food. Good value for money. One last piece of advice: I highly recommend making a reservation! It seems very difficult to get a table without a reservation, and it's practically impossible if you're hoping to snag a spot on their tiny front terrace without one. In short, an excellent La Rochelle restaurant to remember!

19/07/2026: A first for both of us, but definitely not the last! We were pleasantly surprised as soon as we walked in the door by a warm welcome and a family atmosphere. The customers were friendly and smiling. The food was delicious, the portions generous and made with love... Fresh fries, of course! See you soon! We highly recommend it!

Every dish was perfectly balanced in flavor and presented with meticulous attention to detail – true haute cuisine. The wine pairings were perfectly matched to the menu and wonderfully complemented the culinary experience. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates exceptional food. We will definitely be back!

31/07/2026: A very offhand service that seems tourist hardened but not mean-spirited. We chose the smaller menu. It started with a slice of what we were told was “raw fish” that was snapper-like, accompanied by a tiny bit of pickled baby vegetables that were insufficient to mask the fish’s lack of freshness. The next course turned out to be a “wagyu pastrami” which was a salty, lean slice of beef with a pleasant flavor accompanied by coleslaw and Russian dressing. The lamb was a real waste of a gorgeous LITTLE ( perhaps 60 gr) piece of young lamb souris drowned under a pile-on of far too many flavors which ended up a gloppy muddle. Overall, it was not a joyful meal and the faces of the other diners indicated that we were not alone.
