The service was simply outstanding: professional, warm, and full of thoughtful touches. These attentive checks with each course to ensure everything was perfect made our lunch even more enjoyable. We opted for the six-course tasting menu, a true festival of flavors where delicacy meets indulgence. The local ingredients are beautifully prepared with finesse, and the delightful surprises like the amuse-bouche and petits fours with coffee add the perfect finishing touch. A treasure to remember! Go, you won't be disappointed.

17/10/2025: Hello and thank you for being able to take us to dinner even though you were full. We went outside and lol so you'd remember me I cleared my table 😍😍😍 Well, I enjoyed myself, the meat was perfectly cooked, a delight for my taste buds, an excellent homemade terrine and my little strawberry mait as an aperitif. Really a table to sit at. Cooked over a wood fire. Very friendly service but they make you arrive early, unlike us at 1:15 p.m.

07/02/2026: I really like this restaurant but what I find disappointing is the quantity of side dishes, for example the Grantin portion would not be enough for a 4 year old child, try to review the quantities a little for our greater happiness because it is excellent.

The place is warm and welcoming, both for its authentic charm and the friendliness of the hosts. An incredible atmosphere! This little haven of tranquility allows us not only to enjoy delicious food but also to recharge and experience a unique way of life. Thank you again to the whole team, and see you next year!

11/02/2026: Impeccable service, a warm welcome always with a smile. Having my morning coffee at Au Métropole has become a little daily pleasure before starting the day. And the place is magnificent! Recently reopened after a long closure, it has been tastefully renovated, respecting the ambiance and charm of the 1930s of this historic brasserie in the Rouen train station district. Beautiful place, lovely and friendly team! Everything is perfect!!

05/02/2026: We came as a family of five, including a child, and we were very disappointed with our experience. The fish was tasteless and the rice was far too heavily flavored with saffron. The children's menu offered very little choice, and there weren't even any mussels, which isn't mentioned on the website. The prices are very high compared to the quality offered. The gourmet coffee is advertised as included in the menu, but in the end, you have to pay a few extra euros. Furthermore, the servers weren't particularly welcoming. Overall, a disappointing experience.
