30/06/2026: A very nice little inn. The owner is very friendly. I didn't see the chef, but dinner was very good. It's a shame there were no pizzas that evening. The rooms are a bit dated, but perfect for an overnight stay. Overall, I recommend this little inn. I will definitely stop by again if I'm ever in the area. Looking forward to it!

06/08/2026: It was a real pleasure to stumble upon this restaurant on the way back from Gérardmer. A warm welcome, everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. They even gave our 6-year-old son a little something extra. Absolutely fantastic, I highly recommend it.

But if you go, don't hesitate if you love lemon 🍋 and surprises 💫, then wait until the owner offers you his wife's new dessert, something incredibly delicious. I guarantee it 👌 And its story is hilarious!! The owner will be happy to tell it to you 😍.

We were the first customers to arrive at the restaurant, yet six or seven tables that arrived after us were served before us. A blatant lack of professionalism and total incompetence. Unacceptable! Avoid at all costs!

04/10/2026: The site couldn't be better, and for good reason!!! The food is certainly good, but the prices are very high. Personally, after ordering tripe à la mode de Caen (24 euros, by the way), that was it!!! As someone from the region, a native of Normandy, and someone who knows the tripe recipe perfectly, NO!! This dish, which is nothing more than pieces of stomach, without the veal foot, omasum, reticulum, or abomasum that usually accompanies this delicious Norman dish, needs to be removed immediately. It's just a tasteless tripe soup in broth with a few carrots, and far from the 20 hours of cooking required!!! Cooked in water and that's it!!! No, stop this bad image of tripe à la mode de Caen!!! It's giving Norman palates nightmares!!!!

07/10/2026: The setting and atmosphere are nice, but the food leaves much to be desired. The broth was too salty, the vegetables in the pot-au-feu were tasteless, and the meat wasn't anything special. A rather mediocre experience. The staff could use a bit more smiles, but they were still friendly.

01/10/2026: A very pleasant stay. The welcome was seamless. The rooms are of high quality. The wellness area is well-designed and comprehensive. The meals and breakfast were excellent and plentiful. A superb establishment with excellent amenities.

16/10/2026: Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve had, particularly considering the price point and expectations. The service felt disorganized throughout the evening. Multiple staff members repeatedly asked us the same questions, we were brought the same course twice, and there seemed to be very little communication between the team. One particularly strange moment came after our fish course, when we left our sauce-covered knives on our plates expecting fresh cutlery. Our waitress removed them from the plates and placed them back on the table. When we requested clean knives, she appeared frustrated, took them away, wiped them off, and returned them to the same knife rests that were still covered in sauce. There also seemed to be ongoing tension between staff members, including several disagreements in front of guests, which made the atmosphere rather uncomfortable. Toward the end of the meal, we asked for our check and were told, somewhat abruptly, that we could pay downstairs whenever we wanted. When we went downstairs, the staff seemed confused and had to retrieve our waitress. Our bill then included a bottle of wine we hadn’t ordered, and after correcting it, we were told we needed to leave a tip, something we hadn’t encountered elsewhere during our time in Paris. My husband and I actually found much of the service confusion rather humorous and laughed it off. Unfortunately, the food itself was the biggest disappointment. The pacing of the meal was inconsistent, with some courses arriving almost immediately and others taking close to 30 minutes. Both the meat and fish were unevenly cooked and chewy. Foam appeared on nearly every dish, which felt a bit dated rather than inventive. The tortellini accompanying the meat course had a texture that suggested it had been sitting for some time, and one of the desserts had an unexpectedly strong pesto-like flavor. The ambiance also felt somewhat disconnected from the experience the restaurant seemed to be aiming for. The lighting was quite bright, and there was no background music, making the disagreements between staff even more noticeable. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and had really been looking forward to a memorable meal. We certainly weren’t expecting perfection, but at this price point, we did expect thoughtful food, attentive service, and a more cohesive experience. Ultimately, it was a disappointing way to celebrate a special occasion. Based on our experience, I would have a difficult time recommending this restaurant, particularly given the cost.

11/10/2026: For a drink, sure... but this was too much. The music was incredibly loud, the toilets had no lights and the doors wouldn't close... the service was slow and sluggish, and the vegetable pizza had only one vegetable, lol. In short...

10/07/2026: The shaded terrace is lovely for a drink. However, the two waiters were very unpleasant! And not efficient at all! They didn't take our order, we had to go to the bar, and they brought our drinks to the wrong table (there were 5 tables occupied). ⬇️ Unfriendly remarks... In short... just okay.
