Nothing special, seems very old-fashioned as soon as you walk through the door, but bedding ok, soap, towels... and a little sports mix on the table. (Seeds, dried fruits...)

28/08/2024: Average in terms of cuisine (I hesitated between 2 or 3 stars). The decor and configuration are very pleasant but our personal opinion which only reflects our experience: the servers were very polite verbally but the tone and gestures were aggressive, which does not go at all in principle with this type of restaurant. establishments. Maybe we came by on a bad day. In any case, we didn't feel welcome. We will test again in a while to add or remove stars and adjust the review.

Staff and owners are very welcoming with fast service and high quality French food. Le Village will provide you with whatever you need whether it’s a quick bite to eat, a pint or a nice French meal. Dog and child friendly and wheelchair accessible.

Try the onglet de boeuf 🐂 yummy 🤤
The tropical IPA is a decent pint too.
They show important live sporting events and the atmosphere is always a lot of fun.

07/08/2024: Endroit juste super le patron parfait et nous avions pris 4 moules frites le goût ça sais du goût magnifique j'en ai fait des restaurants mais celui ci je recommande les yeux fermés je me suis permise de dire au patron de ne rien changer et quand je vois des WC propres on peu dire que la cuisine et la même merci mr le patron

17/12/2024: I really liked the setting, the decoration is very nice and it’s a change in Montreuil. Unfortunately we were seated next to the front door, not very pleasant when it is cold. My fish dish was delicious, perfectly cooked fish, tasty and generous side dish. I really liked it. Too bad the service was a little cold. I will surely return there hoping for a happier service.

25/08/2024: Un vrai restaurant Alsacien. Des plats simples mais efficaces de très bonne qualités. La choucroute magnifique et des plats originaux comme poissons et choux à découvrir.
19/08/2024: Charmant petit restaurant où l'on se sent bien dès notre arrivée. Cuisine traditionnelle comme on l'aime avec une délicieuse choucroute garnie (magnifique viande) et un tout aussi délicieux plat de spaetzles à la choucroute avec cervelas et lard. Tout cela accompagné d'une excellente bière allemande. Et pour faire digérer le tout un sorbet griottes arrosé de kirsch. Que du bonheur !!!!!!
A tester à nouveau lors de notre prochain passage dans la région.

27/08/2024: It's a small restaurant that I discovered by chance following a visit to the Pont Valentré; the nice terrace with a few tables on the sidewalk caught my attention. Seeing the dish of the day at 11.90 euros, a sirloin with pepper sauce and fries, I immediately asked if a table was free. Total surprise, hearty dish and quality meat for a price far from the restaurants in the city center. The service was pleasant and fast, we could chat quietly without having to deal with the conversation from neighboring tables, I loved it. Thank you to the waitresses who were constantly moving in all directions with a smile and a particular kindness to the well-being of the customers despite the heatwave. Thanks to the team, excellent and really affordable meal (11 euros/person with bottles of water).
17/08/2024: It is on the street that leads to the Pont Valentré, the most famous attraction in Cahors, so you find it on the way from the city center. It is a menu and fast food bar. Your proposal is honest. They treated us well and in Spanish, so everything was easier. The price was affordable, so no complaints. We were right because we wanted to eat something quick and easy. The bathroom is mixed and small but very clean. I give it four stars for the detail of the language.
