02/12/2024: Nice place Attentive staff But I admit that I was disappointed by the dishes and the buffet Main dishes served barely warm Products offered at the simple buffet (hard-boiled egg salad, among others) And above all the avocado toast was a slice of bread with a few slices of unripe avocado with a poached egg (also cold like the dish) And without real flavor I said it was a joy to take my children…. I looked at the reviews beforehand which are good but unfortunately do not correspond to reality

29/10/2025: I went there today with my two grandchildren and it was wonderful. They were very attentive to the children, the food was excellent, and the decor was perfect. My children and we ourselves gave it a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend it.

23/12/2025: I recently visited and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The teriyaki salmon is my favorite — it’s fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. If you’ve never tried escargot, you need to try it here. While it’s definitely an acquired taste, the seasoning and preparation made it surprisingly delicious. The restaurant has a very cozy, home-like feel and is conveniently located near many attractions in Paris. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re visiting!

Go there, it's worth the detour, superb pizzas made in a wood-fired oven and a magnificent setting. Thanks to the manager. I would say the best pizza in Auxerre without any hesitation. 06/12/2025: Review of L’Atypique Restaurant – Grenoble My visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. I was with my mixed-race daughter, and from the moment we arrived, we felt a particularly cold welcome. We had a reservation for 12:30 pm. By 1:00 pm, we still hadn't been served, while several tables that arrived after us had already received their appetizers, main courses, and even desserts. Two servers were present, but neither attended to us despite my calls. I can't say for sure why, but the difference in attention between our table and the others was significant enough that we felt excluded. The restaurant presents itself as inclusive; however, that wasn't the impression we got that day. The discomfort was so great that we ended up leaving without eating. My daughter, who is autistic, left in tears because of this feeling of being treated with such exclusion. I am simply sharing the facts and our experience, so that everyone can form their own opinion.

02/10/2025: I discovered this restaurant this afternoon and it's very good. 3 dishes to choose from: 1 with meat, 1 with fish, and 1 vegetarian. Choice of dessert. I had the fish and the gourmet coffee. Very good. Too bad this restaurant isn't open on Friday or Saturday evenings. I recommend it!

17/02/2026: 4 stars and not 5: I've been coming here often for 5 years, and I had to ask one of my friends to leave (there are 3 of us, on a Monday night! There are other tables available).

16/02/2026: Kicked out because I hadn't ordered anything after an hour on a Monday night, and the waiter was unpleasant. Go elsewhere; you'll find better and cheaper options.

12/02/2026: It was alright, but lacked any real folkloric charm. We advocate fighting food waste, yet there's no provision for customers to take their leftovers home. As for the service, it left much to be desired: a particularly haughty attitude and a clear lack of friendliness.

08/02/2026: The place is lovely and the waitress was very nice, but my butternut squash was raw, my neighbor's soup was cold, and my other neighbor sent her meat back to the kitchen. Just FYI.

07/02/2026: Beautiful dining room with crystal chandeliers and beautiful ceiling paintings. The joy stops there. Service less than friendly. Food. Not great. Ceasar salad standard. Cod was like eating from a cheap diner. Looked like fish sticks from a box. The salad that came with the cod was not great. Do not recommend.

24/11/2025: Between the bar and the (tobacco shop) you sometimes have to wait a while before someone comes to see you, apart from that the staff are pleasant and respectful.

22/11/2025: The largest selection of beer in the area, and the owner behind the bar (if it's her) is very friendly. However, the selection comes at a price. At €10.30 for a pint of Christmas beer, be sure to ask about the price of your drink before ordering.

11/11/2025: I'm just going to talk about my experience. Quick, well, quick is a bit of an exaggeration. There wasn't much going on that day, just an hour and a half to grab a bite. I ordered a beer as the waitress passed by and wanted to order the daily special. At the same time, the waitress told me, and I quote: "I have customers inside, I'll be back to take your order." Okay, I thought, too bad, I could have saved her some time. After 20 minutes, my beer arrived. My eyes were glued to my watch, still waiting for this hypothetical order of the simple daily special. Still no word. Anyway, the worst was yet to come. I should have started with this. I'm 53 years old, I've eaten in an almost infinite number of restaurants, and I received the ugliest and most disgusting plate of food in my entire life. If I had been the waitress, I would have refused to serve that, poor thing. I've seen worse, but that was at McDonald's. Luckily, I guess I didn't have... Need a room? Zero stars.

20/01/2026: We ate at this pizzeria yesterday. Quite disappointed. The pizzas were okay, nothing special. The tables were quite close together. When the people next to us left, the waitress rushed to clean the table (clearing it was fine), but cleaning with a spray that smelled very strongly of vinegar could have waited. 🙄 The staff was barely friendly.

26/08/2025: Holiday route restaurant at random, rather a good surprise, shame about an inn frozen fries not homemade and desert only assembly (frozen fondant, brick cream, whipped cream bomb)
