26/01/2026: Nice little place, convenient to Notre Dame. They offer discounts with The Fork. The menu is limited, and I didn't particularly like what I ordered, but the dishes were beautifully plated and the desserts were good. Other dishes ordered by friends were more popular, so I can recommend it if you're in the area.
22/01/2026: The coffee and pie were delicious, and the service was impeccable. The establishment has a heated terrace with outdoor seating.

10/01/2026: While passing through the area, we were looking for a restaurant serving local dishes. A very pleasant discovery! The waitress was attentive, and the portions were generous and unpretentious. The dining room is a bit echoey, which is slightly bothersome when there aren't many customers.

The dining room echoed, so privacy was limited. A nice touch was the thick toilet paper – a welcome feature. 🤌

13/09/2025: We are staying at the hotel, which is lovely and the staff are very nice but I had the worst steak of my life at the restaurant and will be avoiding for the rest of the trip. A tough and gristle filled, unpleasant piece of meat. I left most of it, and it wasn’t cheap.
18/08/2025: Extremely disappointed. From the department and quite fine gourmets and knowing how to cook well (according to our friends) we scour the surrounding restaurants, in all price ranges, to treat ourselves. Given the advertising of this establishment which prides itself on creative and original cuisine with seasonal vegetables and the fact that the establishment is listed among the Toques blanches du Roussillon (L'Almandin, La Balette, la Galinette, Le Clos des Lys which we loved) encouraged us to try it. Even though it is August, the menu is more than meager, very little choice and not very original. The lack of choice can sometimes be a guarantee of quality and freshness but there is a big disappointment. My husband orders an octopus carpaccio: microscopic at 14€ and tasteless. I ordered a melon and pepper gazpacho and watermelon brunoise with olive oil and basil, normally served with focaccia, but I was told there was no focaccia, even though that was the exact combination I liked. So I didn't order anything because foie gras at 40 degrees, no thanks, and I'm fed up with farmed salmon. In addition, we will appreciate the accompaniment of chicken carpaccio with raw vegetables (carrots, kohlrabi or celeriac (I have a doubt), bagged salad which, as everyone knows, are summer vegetables!? All unseasoned and no spices, herbs, NOTHING. As for the main dishes, there is still little choice. We opt for the fish from the market at 23 euros (sea bream fillet) and the grilled sea bass fillet suggestion. Already, only one fillet, not even 100 g of fish! On the other hand, regarding the cooking, nothing to complain about. If only to compensate for the meager portion of fish, the accompaniment was correct.... As seasonal vegetables in August, "cauliflower puree" which is still digestible because at 40 degrees we do better and sweet potato puree, 2 tablespoons of each. The best part: the lazy chef "taped" (that's the word that comes to me and which suits me) under the fillet The fish, the same raw vegetable salad as the octopus accompaniment (kohlrabi and carrots), always unseasoned. The manager wanted to offer us dessert, which is very commercial, but when it's not good, it's not good. When I got home, I quickly cooked myself a meal. In short, we tried it and we won't be going back. There's no shortage of good and excellent restaurants in Roussillon! The setting, however, is very refreshing and peaceful. In conclusion, poor value for money.

16/01/2026: Unfortunately, we had a bad experience at this restaurant in Val Claret. We waited over an hour to be served (even though we had ordered Savoyard specialties – which are usually served quite quickly). Also worth mentioning – you can't remove the charcuterie from the Savoyard fondue (or you can, but at the same price). Not very customer-friendly... Honestly, avoid this place; there are much better options in the resort.

29/01/2026: Unheated plates, so the meal was half cold! The staff were unfriendly and never smiled! It's a real rip-off if you order a half-liter of Pinot Noir by the carafe; they'll automatically bring you the more expensive of the two wines on the menu unless you specify this when ordering! You don't always pay attention, and they take advantage of that! €20 for a half-liter is expensive, and €14 for the cheapest one, which they unfortunately don't suggest! We fell for it once, but not twice! We'll never set foot in there again!
22/01/2026: The cordon bleu with burnt Munster cheese, delivered... no respect whatsoever. The chocolate charlotte was underwhelming and unappetizing. First and last time for us, true Strasbourg natives. Oh well, we'll just have the fries.

Everything went very smoothly, from the reservation to the end of the meal, including the quality of the food and the service. We received a very warm welcome. The food was very good, and the staff was attentive and checked on us from time to time to ask if everything was okay. We even received a birthday cake with a little something for our mother's plate! It was fantastic! We sincerely thank Sophie's restaurant for this quality time we were able to spend as a family thanks to them.

13/12/2024: The location at the gates of Chambord Castle, the most beautiful in the Loire, is definitely worth it. The hotel does not deserve the SLH category due to the lack of management and maintenance, both in rooms and common areas. The service seems very novice and presumptuous. Of course you need to pay a good manager to look at the maintenance details. The restaurant and food service, although it claims to be good, almost always loses in the details of food temperature or point. Classic cocktails and very good local wines. A location pays to visit the main wonders of the eastern Loire area.

20/01/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Cachette. The restaurant is modern, the dining room is comfortable, and there's a subtle Japanese influence in its clean, minimalist design. As one would expect from a Michelin-starred establishment, the cuisine is full of surprises and attention to detail, enhancing the overall experience. We particularly enjoyed the seafood, which was showcased beautifully. One minor drawback: it's a shame the glasses aren't changed between wine tastings (not between the two white wines, but between the white and red wines, to be precise!). The service was attentive and uncomplicated in the best sense of the word.
