25/08/2024: Stopover hotel between Burgundy and the Basque Country. Charming, quiet place, well equipped, extremely friendly and caring staff with our newborn, delicious dinner and breakfast.

24/08/2024: No note regarding the rooms since we only had to eat. A very nice establishment run by a super welcoming, friendly and most efficient team. If you are traveling on the A89 between Clermont-Ferrand and Brive-la-Gaillarde, it will only take a very short detour to stop at this establishment. I highly recommend!

23/11/2024: We called to book the day before, we were confirmed that the terrace was heated and smoking was allowed there; When we arrived, 30 minutes of waiting for the order to be taken, in addition, another 30 minutes of waiting for the said order service. It was 5°C outside and the heating on the terrace (confirmed by the call for reservation the day before) was not turned on, so we asked to turn on the heating, we then had to close the windows, and that the whole terrace stops smoking. In addition, a server bordered on unpleasant, far from what I expected. I strongly advise against it.

23/11/2024: Good atmosphere, nice setting, the staff is pleasant. The Morbier Burger is super good, definitely worth making again!

17/08/2024: Positive points: convenient parking right in front of the restaurant, the pancakes and pancakes are very good. Friendly welcome, vegetarian dishes Negative points: the cracked chair seats which was surprising when we arrived 😑. It would also be good to offer traditional bolés for drinking cider instead of water glasses 😉, price a little more expensive than in Beauvais.

17/08/2024: Points positifs: parking pratique juste devant le restaurant, les galettes et les crêpes sont très bonnes. Points négatifs : les assises des chaise craquelées qui surprend à notre arrivée 😑. Il serait bien également de proposer des bolés traditionnelles pour boire le cidre au lieu de verres à eau 😉.

26/11/2024: Magnificent decor. The plate was very nicely presented, copious with very good products. We enjoyed ourselves. For dessert, the walnut ice cream was delicious! Good value for money. For the service, we didn't wait too long, a little advice: it's better to arrive at the start of the service and the choice of formula is to be preferred. Holiday vouchers are accepted. A very good address where we will return with great pleasure.

11/11/2024: Il faut connaitre le concept ..dans la salle chauffée une seule table pour 2....le reste plutôt 5 voir plus.... donc vous vous retrouvez à plusieurs à table ...repas copieux et excellent... le bémol est sur le service : manque de sourire...un seul verre donc quand on vous sert le vin il faut que ayez fini votre eau avant car on le vous le change pas... on vous pose les assiettes et le pichet d'eau euh très brusque... serveuse bourrue....dommage

30/08/2024: Access denied because it was spontaneously decided at the door that knee-length trousers were not appropriate for men in summer. There was no information about this anywhere during booking. 130€ lost due to pretentious snobbery

30/08/2024: An experience to live at least once in your life! To repeat a previous comment: "the weirdest show I've ever seen"! You find yourself in a room filled to capacity with people from all walks of life, from all countries, a magnificent cosmopolitan gathering. It's so enriching, it serves the general atmosphere of this unique place. The decoration of the room is incredible and totally pays homage to the history of the Moulin Rouge, all these colors, references to fare shows... there are everywhere! I was quite unsettled at first to be seated with strangers. Having come alone, I had an American woman in front of me and next to me a group of Spaniards. We didn't know each other, and yet, what an atmosphere at the table...! It was great. During the meal, we attended a great little concert of famous covers by a duo of singers and a few musicians. But also to the moving marriage proposal of a gentleman to his lady, and we applauded at Juliette's birthday (we still don't know who it is). Then around 9:00 p.m. the Show started. Special mention +++ for the catering team who were very warm and adorable with me during the meal service! I have excellent memories of our little exchanges. The show is very special: it's magnificent, strange, funny, seductive... in short, incomparable to any other show you can see in your life. 3 cuts were applied during the show with speakers having their own performances. I really enjoyed these little moments which were all breathtaking! My only regret is the beer! I asked for a draft of blonde on my menu and was offered a... small bottle of Heineken?! This is the only beer that was offered. I hallucinated. Are we in France or not? I had half a bottle of white wine instead. Also, big injustice on the dress code: We all have to be dressed in a certain way, with a certain style of shoes, a certain item of clothing is prohibited, etc. otherwise we don't get in. And... before entering the room, we see Asian tourists passing by our queue dressed in everything that the dress code prohibits. And of course, they enter without problems. At that moment, the Moulin Rouge lost all its credibility in our eyes.

29/08/2024: Très bonne cuisine traditionnelle dans un beau cadre en bordure de lac. Ambiance chaleureuse et familiale. Personnel aux petits soins et souriant avec l’ensemble de la clientèle. Si vous passez dans le coin n’hésitez pas.

13/12/2024: What a disappointment! I ordered an entrecote and the meat was tough and the chips were soft. I paid €34.50 for a terrible dish! The service was great, but the food was terrible!

27/11/2024: Lieu que j'ai énormément fréquenté lorsque j'avais une vingtaine d'années en 1988 et j'y retourne toujours avec un immense plaisir. De tous les établissements de la place Stanislas, c'est incontestablement le meilleur. Des serveurs au top ? Stéphane.

However the dishes are not extraordinary, I had a chicken escalope with Langroise sauce, frankly not great. Open on a public holiday, convenient, great atmosphere and top service, but the frozen fries and the rest... I'm sorry but we need to review the kitchen.

10/11/2024: Arrived on a weekend in Langres where very little open except Le Foy. We had a nice lunch here - quick service and nice local atmosphere.

18/09/2024: The food and cocktails are good but unfortunately when I had to pay, I paid contactless and I was charged 54 euros instead of 28... A very big difference which I only noticed too late. It's all well and good to take advantage of customers by changing the amounts but we work to be able to go to your bar, scam...

17/01/2025: Very good value for money, the food and service are very good and so is the setting. This restaurant allows you to eat well and quite quickly for lunch, it's very good so I recommend it!

15/12/2024: This restaurant is accessible even if you are not part of the hotel. Only one regret, having arrived “too late”. More veal, more tiramisu. But everything was announced when ordering 👍 Their local amber beer is excellent. Reasonable price for homemade.

06/09/2024: No criticism to make regarding the dish, on the other hand average reception a lot of waiting to order and to be served the staff was focused on the set-up so left meaning to have the dessert too bad

08/09/2024: Very nice service, great meat, I recommend the grilled chicken and also the steak. Unfortunately, the sausage is extremely salty. Desserts also very tasty.
