10/08/2026: My breakfast spot while in Paris. In front of the metro Pernety, not easy to find a good cappuccino in Paris but here was like the italian one, I felt like home, every morning Cappuccino and Pain Au Chocolate or Croissant. The owners are also really friendly!

19/07/2026: We came here to watch the final FIFA World Cup match and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing! The energy was incredible and it made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. Great service, great vibes, and a perfect place to watch football. Highly recommended! Viva España 🇪🇸

29/09/2026: Delicious! We had a platter of local cured meats and a profiterole. Everything was great.

28/09/2026: Group of 13 with pre-arranged menus. Excellent value for money! Perfect homemade dried sausage, delicate and flavorful cassoulet (delicious gratinéed topping), equally delicious duck breast, and a nice little local wine. Efficient service despite the crowd, thank you.

17/10/2026: Good food. Hearty portions and good value for money.

06/10/2026: We received a warm welcome despite the late hour. Seated on the beautifully decorated terrace, our salads were served promptly—generous and delicious. A special mention goes to the homemade foie gras. The gourmet coffee was excellent, with petits fours and a dessert, and the Paris-Brest-style profiteroles were to die for, according to my daughter, who had a hard time finishing them... but they were so good! We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and we know where to go when we return to Château-Gontier. Try it, you'll love it!

07/08/2026: This is a lovely hotel, and the concierge and manager were outstanding. The one letdown was the waiter working the lounge. Our group traveled to the hotel after a river cruise, and stayed two nights (08/01–08/02, 2026). After our first night, many of us were reluctant to return to the lounge on the second night because of rude and bizarre behavior from the lounge waiter. We understood the reserved seating policy is meant to keep the lounge exclusive to hotel guests, but this waiter didn't seem to grasp the difference between guests and outsiders. It was genuinely embarrassing to watch him push a chair into hotel guests to break up a group goodbye — a gathering of about 8 people that lasted maybe 15 seconds. His lack of professionalism was bizarre and completely out of step with the rest of the staff. This one employee's attitude took what should have been a five-star review of an exceptional hotel and dragged it down. Everything else about our stay was excellent — this was a glaring exception.

30/05/2026: The hotel is cute, the breakfast is great, the staff is very lovely, kind and friendly. There was, however a heatwave in Paris 90 F degrees/32 C, and the AC didn’t work. They didn’t tell us this when we checked in or before arrival. They gave us a fan. Guest relations said they couldn’t get it fixed for a week because everyone in Paris was calling the repair people and they were booked. They did offer for us to check out early, but said our hotel points wouldn’t be credited for a few days, meaning we couldn’t immediately reuse them to book at another Hilton property with working air conditioning. It was miserable to try and sleep in a hot room, otherwise our stay would have been great. Moving to another hotel without points would cost about $2,000 USD. Very disappointing. :(

19/09/2026: Atmosphere, service, and food: never disappointed, whether for lunch or dinner. Lovely terrace. Affordable prices. I highly recommend it.

18/08/2026: Excellent spot that brings the local scene to life. Impeccable service (the terrace is a joyful and cheerful place). The food is very good and varied; my only slight criticism is about the butcher's cut—I prefer raw shallots to caramelized ones. The bar is very well-stocked; they even have Rye Whisky. 07/09/2026: Very good restaurant. The burger was excellent with real fries. The salmon stew was also excellent, with lovely shrimp and good seasonal vegetables. Very good value for money in a very pleasant setting. Worth trying. Tip: book for lunch and then visit the Cordeliers Royal right next door! 😃

14/09/2026: If you're in Soissons and need lunch, I recommend this restaurant. The place is charming. The staff is excellent. The food is delicious, especially the fish stew.

12/09/2026: I came with my younger brother and sister (aged 16 and 14), knowing that I'm 30 and they are my legal guardians. We were told to leave by 10 pm because I'm not their legal guardian. I think that's a shame, considering we just wanted to relax and have a drink. I know how to manage my siblings; I would never have given them a single alcoholic drink. We won't be back!

08/09/2026: A superb discovery! 🤩 We organized a private family event on a Sunday at lunchtime (around 40 people) and we were delighted! From the quality of the food (fresh, homemade products!), to the presentation of the dishes, the impeccable service, and the venue itself… A huge thank you to Laurence and her husband for this wonderful experience and for their invaluable advice! We will definitely be back, perhaps in a different setting, to enjoy Laurence's culinary talent and the passion she puts into her cooking!

28/08/2026: Unpleasant owner and disdainful welcome. Perhaps he's nice to the locals, I suppose. I simply came in for a €1.50 coffee. When it came time to pay, I asked if I could pay by card, and the response, in a particularly condescending tone, was: "Oh, come on, for €1.50, no, we don't take cards, do we?" The problem isn't having to pay in cash, of course, but the way customers are treated. A little respect and courtesy costs nothing, even for a €1.50 coffee. It's a shame, because this kind of welcome makes me absolutely not want to come back.

27/09/2026: Excellent! Casual setting within the owners courtyard, and incredible food / service. We had a baby and 6 adults and everyone loved their food. The owner was extremely accommodating and even offered us some off menu duck which was 10/10. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great local food!

18/08/2026: A superb place! From the moment you arrive, you're warmly welcomed with a smile in a friendly, family atmosphere. The pizzas are delicious, made with quality ingredients and generously topped. Everything is there for a wonderful experience: tasty dishes, attentive service, and a truly welcoming ambiance. A pizzeria I wholeheartedly recommend, and one I'll definitely be returning to!
