10/07/2026: Dinner and theater for 43 euros. It always feels strange to find yourself in a theater area. But the actors were great.

28/06/2026: I highly recommend them. We celebrated our son's 40th birthday there; there were about sixty of us, and we had an unforgettable evening. The organization was top-notch. A big thank you to the whole team. The price was very reasonable for the service.

04/10/2026: Pleasant location on the port, friendly waiters and quick service, but unfortunately the mussels marinière were disappointing: a watery texture and tasteless broth, making you wonder if they had been cooked the day before. Following this meal, my daughter became ill. I called the restaurant, got an answering machine, and left a message. As of today, October 4th, I still haven't received a response. Given the texture of the mussels, I do not recommend this tourist trap; it has everything it takes to ruin your vacation.

03/09/2026: ⭐️⭐️ Today, I stopped by for a smoothie and a pain au chocolat. I had just finished a photoshoot in the neighborhood, and my goal at that moment was quite simple: to sit down for a few minutes, relax, and enjoy something delicious. 😂 The smoothie was good and refreshing. The pain au chocolat was decent, but nothing to write home about. 🇫🇷🥐 The little tragedy occurred when it came time to be served. 😅 I got the feeling that the young woman who served me got annoyed simply because I touched the tray to pick up my own order, even though it had already been paid for. Her gesture and attitude seemed rather unfriendly, and unfortunately, that was my first impression of the place. After this little adventure, I went to the restroom, retrieved my order, and ultimately decided to eat in peace and quiet in my car. My car may not have table service, but at least no one was offended because I touched my own tray. 😂 I obviously wasn't expecting a red carpet, violins, or a presidential welcome. Just a little kindness and friendliness. In the end, I didn't really feel "at home." And that's a shame, because it's precisely these little gestures that make you want to come back to a place. Life is too short to try to do everything politically correct. Sometimes, a smile, a kind gesture, and a little empathy are more than enough. Two stars for the smoothie and for the hope that my next visit will tell a completely different story. ❤️

11/10/2026: I recommend this restaurant. The owner is a very welcoming person; he proactively introduces each dish to customers. He mentioned that he has a different menu every month, and this month it's Burgundy cuisine. For my appetizer, I ordered frog leg vegetable soup. I preferred the soup itself to the frog legs. For my main course, I had the wasabi rabbit, which I thought was quite good. The side dishes included spinach and mushrooms, preventing it from being monotonous. I'm sure all the dishes here are made to order. It took me about 40-60 minutes after ordering to eat my main course, so this restaurant isn't suitable for people in a hurry. However, if you want to relax and enjoy a meal at a leisurely pace, I think it's a great place. I also really appreciated the friendly atmosphere the restaurant had.

06/10/2026: Great restaurant that offers dishes from different French regions each and everything month. We enjoyed the dishes introduction by the the waiter. The atmosphere was amazing and warm. It was a great experience discovering the delicious dishes and will surely return.

14/09/2026: Original and delicious cuisine, a perfect atmosphere and service—what more could you ask for! I highly recommend the spelt and porcini mushroom risotto, and the plum tart!

18/08/2026: Truly one of the best meals of our lives was here, easily Top 5. I was told they had a Michelin star just a few years back, and I easily believe it. It's hard to even describe the dishes, as they just kept outdoing themselves. We were fortunate enough to get one of the two tables outside the entrance, so our meal was enhanced by the village views. To top it off, they open for wine and cocktails much earlier than the restaurant opens, and once again: easily Top 5 for Old Fashions, something I never expected in France.The owner hand makes parts of it, and when you have a chef of his caliber putting his heart and soul into that...insane smooth and delicious. The owner, and people who worked there, are amazing company, extremely knowledgeable about the village and surrounding area. I've traveled extensively and lived in food cities, and I will tell you that this is World Class food.

29/09/2026: A wonderful discovery at Les Vieilles Poutres in Fournes-en-Weppes. We chose the "Bouillon" menu: a complete, generous, and delightful experience. Here, you won't find the traditional egg mayonnaise, but rather refined dishes, prepared with finesse and, above all, made with fresh ingredients. The welcome is warm, the advice is insightful, and you can feel the genuine care given to each plate. Refined cuisine, bursting with flavor, in a pleasant setting. An address we wholeheartedly recommend.

05/10/2026: I ordered a soda: Pepsi Max. They brought me a glass. The contents were flat, no carbonation. Be aware that it is strictly forbidden to serve a drink by the glass without having brought the bottle. The bottle must be presented and opened in front of the customer. The café owner failed to comply with this requirement. I do not recommend this place.

28/09/2026: For my first time, I was delighted with my lunch! Delicious food served in a warm, family atmosphere, full of friendliness, humor, and a sense of community. Honestly, once you go, you'll quickly want to come back. The dishes are bursting with freshness, and even with their simplicity and unfussy presentation, they're a pleasure to eat. It's true that when the chef is passionate and talented, there's no need for excessive plating to enhance what you came for: good, fresh, and generous portions. And it works! 10/10/2026: I'm no culinary expert, far from it, and I can't go into technical terms, but I can give you my overall impression. The dining room and staff are spotless, attentive, and the aperitif service is quick. No complaints there. However, regarding the food, I have serious doubts about it being homemade, honestly, and it tastes more like defrosted dishes. The fries don't resemble potatoes cut and fried in oil at all (when I make them at home, they look nothing like that, and especially taste nothing like that). Why not cook the fries on the plate instead of frying them and then leaving them out for an hour... cold... dry...? The exact same goes for the pizzas... six pizzas waiting on the counter, cold and with an exceptional lack of toppings. I understand that everyone's going through a tough time, but still... you have two cooks, make the pizzas to order... and better yet, make small, individual pizzas instead of large ones that you cut into slices which are... cold... and dry. As for the sides, I expected more variety, but all we got was rice, pasta, and a mix of green beans and peas. The desserts, swear they're homemade? I think they're homemade, frozen by a company, and then defrosted in your restaurant. They have no taste, they're bland, even the panna cotta is runny... no "homemade" flavor at all. That's what makes me think it's defrosted. The fruit salad ramekins are too square to be made from fruit in a kitchen; they look more like they came from a can. As for the food itself: we were struck by a very unpleasant smell, and I have to admit, it's not very appealing. I worked in a kitchen in the dishwashing area... there's always a particular smell of hot, damp food... well, it was the same. I left you €120 for three people and we barely ate anything. The €30 price is completely unjustified. I'd charge €19 for that. I came, I saw, and I won't be back. Good luck to you.
