18/11/2025: I was very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, given the reviews. The daily special was really good (and only €11.50), and the service was quick (almost too quick, with the waiter constantly watching you). However, not everything on the menu was available (for example, the croque monsieur); also, the ventilation must be inadequate because there was quite a bit of cooking smoke in the restaurant.

16/08/2025: The food is good and the service is professional. Parking is quite easy (perhaps due to the summer period).

24/12/2025: Happy hour until 2 AM, very reasonable prices, and a great atmosphere! Special mention to the manager! Go without hesitation for a great night out.

05/09/2025: 🌿 🐟 A magnificent place in the heart of nature! We enjoyed various gourmet platters, all prepared with care and refinement 👌✨. The service is top-notch, attentive and warm 😊. A special mention for the desserts… absolutely delicious 😍🍰. 👉 One small drawback: you can't buy your smoked trout (which is excellent 😋🐟), nor can you eat a whole trout on site. A place to discover without hesitation!

Having fun is one thing, but you are causing a disturbance, especially since some of you work evenings. If this continues, we will take the necessary measures. 22/11/2025: We had prepared this meal at Boenewal for a group of 18 hikers, so we had tested it beforehand. It's a fantastic restaurant in the heart of the countryside. The food is excellent: grilled specialties cooked over a wood fire in the fireplace, but also a superb calf's head with brains and tongue, and a wonderful gribiche sauce. It's only served on the last two Fridays of the month. The service was impeccable, and we left in time for our afternoon hike. I had mentioned it upon arrival! The atmosphere is warm and typical of old-fashioned farmhouses! The owner is incredibly friendly and very accommodating...Bravo! Thank you, and we'll be back!

12/11/2025: Perhaps it was because it was November 11th that the quality wasn't there... The food was mediocre; I ordered a simple, runny omelet with chorizo, which arrived well-cooked but without any chorizo... The Kir as an aperitif was undrinkable. The bill was unclear, with no itemized items and no gesture of goodwill. I won't be back.

02/11/2025: We came to the restaurant for a crêpe and a coffee. The atmosphere is really nice with a sea view, and the layout and music are also very pleasant. However, our glasses had large watermarks, which isn't necessarily dirty but detracts a bit from the experience, and the restrooms could use a little renovation. Apart from these minor details, I highly recommend this very welcoming place.

19/09/2025: Late in the afternoon, we passed through some bars we didn't know. We stopped for a quick beer. A Leffe on tap costs €4.50, while in our village a few kilometers away it costs €3.00. We found this a bit expensive. The welcome was neither unpleasant nor particularly pleasant.

23/12/2025: Not having everything available all the time, I can live with that. Having to wait a long time at lunchtime because the restaurant has priority, I can live with that too, because I don't have another time to go. But refusing to take two minutes to sell two sausages before closing at 5:30 PM when closing time is advertised as 6:30 PM... Goodbye. I want to clarify that the quality isn't the issue, just the lack of customer service. So I went to Mas, where I wasn't a regular customer, and I even got a smile and a free tin of pâté!

09/11/2025: A very enjoyable tasting of the products on offer, accompanied by homemade fries! The local meat is prepared with care, with excellent seasonings... The Steak Tartare was a particular favorite!
