25/01/2026: Thank you and congratulations! These are the first words that come to mind to describe this place. An evening spent celebrating my wife's 60th birthday was extraordinary. The atmosphere was magnificent, and being served at the table while singing... it was simply perfect. Everything was in place for a wonderful evening: ambiance, music, food... A huge thank you to the entire team for their expertise and professionalism. The establishment is extremely well-run, with a serious and respectful approach to everyone. I can only recommend this establishment wholeheartedly. If you want to have a truly enjoyable evening, don't hesitate.

23/06/2025: I heard from Julien Courbet that this establishment hadn't paid the person in charge of the karaoke, who had written €8,000... Not very serious, really!!!

20/06/2025: It's great to organize karaoke nights, but you still have to pay the host who went to court and won, but the employers owe him €8,000 and they're liars! I won't give them my money!

28/01/2026: Le Relais de l’Entrecôte is one of those Parisian rites of passage where you don’t book a table, you earn it. You queue. You wait. You people-watch. You start questioning your life choices. Then suddenly, you’re inside and it all makes sense. The interior is classic Paris bistro bingo: old-school, no-nonsense, charming in a “we’ve been doing this forever, don’t touch anything” kind of way. Service is fair, efficient, and laser-focused, because there’s exactly one thing to eat: steak-frites. No menu drama, no decision fatigue. Meat or… meat. The famous sauce? Honestly, the real star of the show. Rich, addictive, and doing most of the heavy lifting here. The steak itself is… fine. Nothing to write home about, nothing to cry over either. The fries, unfortunately, arrive a bit overcooked, crunchy taken just a step too far, like they stayed in the fryer while the sauce stole the spotlight. Desserts, though? Solid. Reliable. Comforting. The kind that makes you forgive everything that came before and leave happy anyway. So yes, you’ll queue, you’ll eat steak-frites, you’ll love the sauce, you’ll raise an eyebrow at the fries, and you’ll probably say, “Worth it” as you walk back into the Paris streets. And somehow, that’s exactly why this place remains iconic!

24/11/2024: A pleasant and cozy place for a Sunday family lunch. The setting is very beautiful. The comforting fireplace. We took the menu for 48€, very good, a small downside just in the fact that the excellent parsnip puree is included in the starter and to accompany the fish. Thank you for being open on Sunday.

07/11/2025: When visiting the Palais des Papes in Avignon, the least you can do is eat at Le Moutardier du Pape, if only to enjoy its magnificent terrace. The food is good, simple but very well-executed, and the staff is both professional and attentive. If you eat there, try their fries; they're simply incredible. In Avignon, where the heat can be quite intense, this place is highly recommended. What's more, the beer is excellent, and good beer goes hand in hand with good food.

11/01/2026: I often come to this brasserie; the atmosphere is good, and the owners are cool. However, the owner often pays for my drink and deliberately doesn't give me my change, which is getting annoying.

23/08/2025: Pleasant place, friendly welcome, good food, the best sea bream I've ever eaten. Even restaurants claiming to specialize in fish aren't as good, and all at a reasonable price. Special mention to the student waiter with medium-length curly hair and green eyes. The others are just as helpful 😉.

24/01/2026: A wonderful first experience at L’Escale des Collines today. A warm welcome, homemade cuisine, we thoroughly enjoyed the frogs' legs and the delicious gratin, all served by the charming and funny Chloé. Ladies, please don't change a thing!

28/01/2026: Big disappointment, we had booked a table a month in advance for a birthday and ended up leaving without eating. We left after 1 1/2 hours without getting our orders Apart from the waitress who served us (Maya) everything else was terrible I hope you are lucky if you visit

28/01/2026: Very disappointing. Unfortunately it ruined a very special life time trip and event. We had booked our special celebration one month prior, knowing we would be traveling to Paris for this special event. All the recommendations were excellent, we were so excited and looking forward to dining here. The moment we arrived we were asked to wait to be seated, so they could organize our table which at first was also disappointing, I mentioned that we were booked for a special birthday dinner and not for dronks so they seated as at another normal sized table, again very small. But we soldiered on. We ordered quickly, and our cocktails arrived, very nice suggestion by Maya, shortly after our wines arrived that were to accompany our meals, again, very good suggestion by Maya. Our first starter dish arrived a little late, which was surprising seeing as it was a cold dish, very tasty, 100% enjoyed it. From that point on, nothing. No more food was served to us, but all the other tables were going through their courses very nicely and at a steady pace. An hour an a half later still no food. During this time we got to know our server Maya, (french-indian young lady) who all though it was not her fault, kept apologizing to us for the delay as though it was. In the end our patience wore thin and we asked for the bill for what we had had, and left. On our way out I had to mention to the management how disappointing our experience was and that my husband's birthday celebration was ruined. He's a better person and just wanted to leave, I'm not. There's nothing worse than seeing your better half disappointed and not being in a position to do something about it and through no fault of your own. Maybe it was a bad night for the restaurant, I get these things happen, but if such good service was provided to others, then it should have been provided to us as well. Sometimes you don't get second chances to impress, and for a restaurant with such distinction it certainly won't get one from us.

21/01/2026: We had a wonderful time at Papounet (Le Petit Commines). The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the servers are very friendly, and the food is excellent. We particularly enjoyed the snail and mushroom starter, which was truly delicious. Everything is homemade, using seasonal ingredients. The servers were also very understanding, as one of our guests arrived late. A place where we had a fantastic time.

11/01/2026: Had a really great experience, with a passionate small team advising us with great wine pairings, and dishes that had the right balance between creativity, complexity, and taste. Little hidden gem, thank you Le Petit Commines.
