23/04/2026: Always an exceptional meal at the bistro's fishmonger. They only use top-quality products, and it shows throughout the menu. For a little treat, the spaghetti with blue lobster is one of their dishes that often comes to mind. The desserts, especially the lime tart, are also excellent. The €26 set menu is very good too.

The welcome is warm, the service is pleasant, and the atmosphere is friendly. A restaurant where you eat very well and where you'll want to return. I highly recommend it!

20/07/2026: A café right in the heart of Les Arcs-sur-Argens, a very friendly and pleasant place with a lovely shaded terrace overlooking the square. The service is warm and welcoming.

18/05/2026: A truly lovely hotel, ideally located between the charming old town of Troyes and the region's lakes. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are friendly. A full breakfast is included. The restaurant is also a very pleasant surprise: a deliberately concise menu featuring regional specialties, offering something for everyone, refined cuisine, delicious desserts, and very reasonable prices. Special mention goes to the managers who were incredibly accommodating and kind: we had car trouble on a Sunday, and despite a busy day for them due to the village market, they arranged for us to stay an extra night and have dinner at the hotel.

21/05/2026: We went to the chip shop for Bastille Day (July 14th, 2025). We ordered two large fries for a price that was quite exorbitant for a chip shop. When we opened the package, there was only one small fry inside, which was obviously disappointing. We felt ripped off.

21/05/2026: We went there during Bastille Day last year, on July 14th. We were a group of young people and we ordered two large fries... The portions were ridiculously small for the price! We're regulars at local chip shops (especially in Liévin) and we've never seen such small portions. We were all disappointed in our group... But oh well, we'll give it another try, just in good faith!

15/06/2026: The wait to order was quite long at 7:50 PM. The atmosphere was pleasant with soft music. There wasn't really any service since we had to go to them ourselves.

The service was quick and courteous, making it ideal for a quick lunch without sacrificing quality. The restaurant is simple yet quaint, perfectly integrated into the Vieux Lyon neighborhood, making it a convenient and pleasant choice for a break while exploring the historic center. Overall, a great place for good, informal dining and good value.

11/05/2026: You can find desserts from famous French chefs all in one place. All of the varieties are delicious and very fresh. Some desserts may sell out later in the afternoon, so I would recommend going earlier.

18/07/2026: I went to Les Vieux Garçons after reading Pudlow's bistro guide. The restaurant was full, and the staff were clearly overwhelmed. The experience wasn't particularly enjoyable... While the food was decent, the lack of friendliness and smiles, along with the rushed service, somewhat marred the experience.

04/07/2026: Just passing through to wait for friends, I was pleasantly surprised by a complimentary plate of fries to accompany a small glass of red wine. Thank you so much! ☺️ The atmosphere was very friendly, calm, and cheerful.
