28/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant offers a peaceful setting, and despite being located on a busy road, we didn't hear any cars. A superb view of the countryside complements the warm atmosphere! The food is excellent with a varied menu, the ingredients are high quality, and the dishes are beautifully presented! The service is very friendly! We had a lovely time; a restaurant not to be missed if you're in the area!

08/06/2026: A true gem! The U Vechju Mulinu restaurant is located on a magnificent, charming, and impeccably maintained estate. The setting is exceptional and invites relaxation. The cuisine is simply splendid: flavorful dishes, carefully prepared and showcasing excellent ingredients. Each plate is a delight for the eyes and the palate. The service is equally impressive: warm, attentive, and professional. You immediately feel at ease. For us, the best restaurant in the area! A truly wonderful place that we wholeheartedly recommend. We will definitely be back! 😊🍽️🌿

11/03/2026: It's a lovely shop with helpful staff. You can choose it to try different teas, take a break, and warm up. Seating is limited, but we were very pleased with both the teas we tried and the atmosphere; I recommend it.

13/10/2025: Super sweet shop with lovely owner and staff. Favorite was Le Toit du Monde (?). It was very reasonably priced and you get plenty of we ordered a few and shared to try. Recommend on a chilly day for sure!

24/11/2025: A perfect neighborhood restaurant in the middle of a residential no-man's-land, in the heart of Lyon's 8th arrondissement medical district, near the Natecia Clinic and the funeral home district! A great little neighborhood restaurant, just the way we like them, with regulars at the bar and a bartender who creates a lively atmosphere: darts are on the agenda. A warm welcome and atmosphere, and good, simple, homemade food: a set menu and a glass of wine 🍷 all for under €25. Thank you to La Maison du Petit Régal for the comfort and this welcome meal on a rainy day, an hour before attending a funeral. Highly recommended!

No deferral of charges or assistance for this kind of "professional" who's just following in their father's footsteps. Give work to people who are motivated and deserving; there are plenty of good places nearby.

24/05/2026: A truly wonderful experience, a very comprehensive menu, and top-notch service. The only thing I would suggest regarding my dish to the kitchen team is that the plain pan-fried vegetables could have been cooked in brown butter (but I think that's just my sweet tooth talking).

30/06/2026: Avoid this place. The service is appalling: no greeting, they ignore you if you're not a regular, the food is very basic, even bad, and the price is inevitably too high for what you get. During my visit, the waitress spilled all the drinks on the customers and barely apologized.

11/06/2026: Catastrophic! The evening I came to eat with friends, there were only two waitresses, clearly overwhelmed with work, even though the restaurant was far from full. The food was also subpar. Regarding the food: the wait between ordering and being served was very long, and in the end, we received pizzas and Camembert cheeses with burnt tops, meat that was much overcooked compared to what we ordered (even after sending it back once), and a pizza missing its ham... Regarding the service: we had to ask for the wine several times to get it before dessert. The waitress couldn't identify the pizzas she was serving us. The waitresses took turns taking our dessert orders without consulting each other. In short, I currently advise against going to this restaurant.
