30/12/2025: While passing through the region, we had trouble finding a reasonably priced hotel near Strasbourg (Christmas period). I chose this one, but I must admit I was very disappointed after paying €240 (in advance) for two nights (without breakfast). I should mention that the staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel seems old and, in our opinion, desperately needs a renovation. We arrived at 5 or 6 PM, and the reception desk was closed with a shutter, and the room keys were left on it… Anyone could have entered our room… I was very surprised by this system. The room itself was small but adequate, and the bed was very small but sufficient. The floral bedspread looked dated, as did the mismatched velvet cushions. Hygiene-wise, non-washable velvet cushions have no place on a bed where different people sleep each night… this bothered me greatly… the pillows were thin and uncomfortable. The rooms have no soundproofing: we could hear the dog barking at the other end of the hotel, the construction work, and even the people using the bathroom in the next room… (🫨). The heating is inadequate and it gets cold quickly, especially in December. For breakfast, we paid €50 for two people for two mornings (€11.50 x 4 + tax). There was little choice, and few, if any, savory options, so we made do with what was on offer. In short, considering the prices, I think the hotel should be modernized and renovated (while still retaining its typical Alsatian charm).

13/01/2026: Very clean restaurant, impeccable and fast service, the mixed-race guy with the earrings was super friendly, and so was the whole team. The galettes were very good.

30/10/2025: This was our first visit, and I can assure you it won't be our last, as the atmosphere and welcome were very friendly. The meal was excellent; I recommend it to everyone. The value for money is very good. Thank you to the chef.

19/09/2025: Just been taken back, apparently my meal was too simple to really get a feel for the quality of the food. However, in terms of atmosphere, it was quite funny to hear what must be the owner yelling and talking about her life in front of her customers... I'm aware of all these problems, thank you for this unwanted and forced moment of sharing, but apparently it must be part of the landscape... Guaranteed moment of laughter if you like!!! And sorry for arriving a little early; apparently 11:45 was disturbing, but thank you for wanting to teach me good habits; I won't do it again!! Just like coming to eat at your place, by the way. Good luck, and it's a shame to see this after 18 years of eating at the Auberge Canard.

18/10/2025: Easily the best wine bar in Paris, the loveliest woman runs this bar and offers an incredible selection of delicious wines. She also offers small bites that make the night and the wine even more special. A must try.

28/10/2025: I'm in the restaurant right now. It's not my first time here; I eat at a lot of restaurants about once a month because of my job. I'm always warmly welcomed with a smile, and the food is good and fresh. And it's not expensive at all. I highly recommend it. If you want to eat well, have a good time, and enjoy a pleasant atmosphere, stop by.

28/12/2025: We were given a very poor welcome, even though we hadn't booked. Not even a hello, just, "Did you book?" "No, so it's not possible, we're fully booked." What a welcome!

02/01/2026: I can't wait to go back. We had a wonderful time as a family with our 5-month-old daughter and our Staffordshire Bull Terrier. The service was impeccable, attentive, and everything was homemade. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious and flavorful, the room was clean, and the view was exceptional. Everything was perfect. Thank you for the warm welcome. This is a welcoming place. It was our first visit, but we will definitely be back.

03/10/2025: Magical place with a magnificent view! We came by chance with children after a lovely hike. The staff is very friendly and the owner kindly offered us a delicious homemade sausage to accompany our bottle of wine. We will definitely be back for a family meal!

02/11/2025: Nice atmosphere, lake view. We had the daily special. The Grand Titi cocktail was well-balanced, the only downside was the overly sweet chocolate mousse.
