14/12/2024: Une étiquette avec la date de péremption ainsi qu'un bout de plastic dans mes escargots. Des excuses pas vraiment convaincantes. ca arrive, ça peut tomber d'un autre plat dans le frigo! Certes nous n'avons payé ce plat et nous avons reçu un verre de champagne à la fin du repas. Mais nous n'y retournerons pas.

24/08/2024: Nous avions réservé une chambre dans l’hôtel, et avons choisi un peu par hasard de dîner au restaurant, car l’orage inondait Reims. Divine surprise. Nous avons partagé six huîtres et six crevettes en entrée,, d’excellente qualité , puis pris deux plats du jour : côtelettes d’agneau ratatouille. Une claque dans la gueule. J’ai 45 ans, et je n’avais jamais mangé de ma vie des légumes aussi juteux, savoureux et habilement travaillés. Là-dessus, nous avons pris les deux desserts locaux - la coupe de glace au biscuit Rose de Reims et le baba au ratafia de champagne. Une splendeur. Ajoutez à cela un service sympathique et la possibilité de boire quelques vins à prix très raisonnable : 1000 merci, et bravo !!

15/09/2024: Très bons produits et bien préparés. Prix un peu élevés et personnel en saison un peu débordé. Pensez à réserver. Terrasse bruyante.

14/09/2024: On arrive à 2 adultes un bébé à midi et on est seul. Pressé on commande deux plats ( filets frites 32€ ) et une assiette enfant frite jambon 12€ ( sans même une boule de glace ) Bref 1/2 h pour avoir le plat alors que le restaurant est vide. Le filet rien à dire tendre. En revanche les frites in mangeable trop cuite des pelets de bois de chauffage. Et au prix du plat ça doit pas arriver. Surtout que à la question du serveur : Tout va bien? Je répond viande ok mais les frites sont trop cuites. La je m’attend à j’en relance ?? Rien le mec il me dit ok je note Bref 2 plats une assiette enfant un verre de vin 90€ On se croirait à Paris rue des Champs Elysées sans la prestation. Ça a bien changé et il ne mérite pas d’être dans le top 5 les tarifs ce sont embourgeoisés mais pas la prestation. D’autres adresses à proximité ( buvette de la halle) mérite mieux et offre un rapport qualité prix service bien meilleur.

22/08/2024: Les restaurants avec un tel rapport qualité/prix sont rares c'est pourquoi on se doit de le signaler. L'accueil est chaleureux, le service sans pretention est efficace, la nourriture généreuse et goûteuse. On sent la bonne entreprise familiale de qualité.Un regret cependant, ne pas rencontrer le chef d'orchestre pour le feliciter.

20/08/2024: We stopped by this restaurant by chance and it was really worth it. As a Southern Italian I appreciated a properly made calzone, a "real" salmon and a cod with a delicate and exquisite sauce. An appreciable local beer and a properly made espresso. Highly recommended!

30/09/2024: We were treated to very generous plates but the filling for the tartiflette pancakes were frozen which really disappointed us, it's a shame.

28/09/2024: A busy decoration, and a restaurant room that really needs to be refreshed, the owner is endearing and loves his establishment, the pancakes are copious and crispy. Present value for money.

01/10/2024: Traditional and regional cuisine. The dishes are very good and plentiful. Friendly staff. We went there several times during our stay.

05/11/2024: A real ice cream parlor with a multitude of choices and sometimes very surprising ones!! But always excellent, like the waffles and homemade whipped cream, a real killer. For a meal, succulent toast or a seasonal salad accompanied by a scoop of salty ice cream, a treat for the palate. A “highly” recommended address in summer because closed in winter. A word of advice: remember to book so as not to miss this tasting experience.

27/10/2024: I discovered this restaurant "which is out of the ordinary". Toasts or salads composed of different products (foie gras, gizzards, bacon, vegetable cheese accompanied by very original ice creams! (camembert, porcini roquefort etc.) spread over around twenty dishes The big downside is the menu... most of the dishes come with a premium (with or without ice cream, which is their specialty) and only 2 dishes (breast or confit) called "Alternatives" for the "Traditionals".... You're going to tell me Go look elsewhere Totally agree, for next time! Then the dessert menu.... A huge choice so take the time to choose! the kitchen and... Increase on a large part!! To finish in style, we had reserved 5 days in advance and the day before we called back as a courtesy to warn them that we would be 1 person less and THERE, SURPRISE.!! We weren't registered!! In short... Original restaurant, certainly, but in terms of openness to customers and management of reservations, that's not their strong point! So I think you understood me.... I won't come back

09/09/2024: We go there regularly and never disappointed...the owner is very friendly, the staff efficient, especially the young apprentice present this summer. Excellent pizzas, huge ice cream sundaes, and top mountain dishes! A beautiful terrace outside, a room for those who are cold, in short, go there with your eyes closed

05/11/2024: Very welcoming and helpful staff, we arrived with a colleague at 2 p.m. to find out if it was possible to have a dish or snack to take away, the attentive cook offered us sandwiches and wraps, as well as dessert of the day. A big thank you to the whole team, everything was very good and at a very reasonable price.

27/10/2024: Arrived there this 10/27/2024 almost by chance! Nothing to regret, whether it was the welcome, the service or the quality of the dishes, it was very good. Very good value for money. We will come back.

21/09/2024: We gad a wonderful meal. Scallops were so good and plentiful that we had no room for dessert, which looked amazing at other tables. The staff obviously like working here cracking jokes with customers and all for a really good price, loved the fact it has a no booking policy, best come early, very refreshing

20/06/2025: Notice of name change! Co thé café "doesn't serve breakfast." At worst, we just wanted tea and coffee, but we were turned away! For those who won't read the whole summary: if you want to spend wisely, move on. Bakeries also make good coffee. For lunch, head to La Tarterie for beautiful slices of quiche; you can buy them in the morning 😉 A beautiful park nearby offers a great setting for breakfast and lunch. Madam, to err is human; sometimes we do wrong, and normally we don't get bogged down. So I'm going to respond to your dishonest and untruthful remarks. For the record, you were turning your back when we arrived; we mistook you for a customer! We didn't have time to sit down; you blurted out, "I don't do breakfast," without even a hello. The tone was set, it lasted a split second, we didn't bother to ask, and we were even a little shocked. In the end, we read that you also serve breakfast! And no, we didn't have pastries in the bags, but to find out, we should have communicated and not whined. So, after that, you have to accept the comment. Without a false response, I would have even deleted it. Obviously, some people still met the same person as us, but we understood that the lady is perfect and the others are just rude. 0 stars 🤣 For those who received a good, even warm, welcome, it's astonishing! So it smells like CBD or pills before the rush hour because she's nicer than at lunchtime, it seems! The margins are better, and that's the only thing that motivates this kind of person. It's not human contact, nor the good atmosphere of a real village café in the morning! Besides, there was no one there... we should have suspected that it was the wrong choice.
