30/08/2026: I ordered a Black Angus ribeye steak as a treat, specifying it rare. It wasn't even medium-rare, but medium. 35 euros to not enjoy the meat, very disappointed. No one came to ask if I was happy with it. I rarely give 2 stars, but with meat like this, you can't afford to get it wrong. Otherwise, the service was good.

20/05/2026: One of my favorite restaurants near Strasbourg. I've been a loyal and devoted customer for about ten years, and I've recently discovered a passion for going there every week or two with my partner, as evidenced by the 73 photos I've taken of her here in the last two years. The decor could use a refresh, but that quickly fades into the background when the service kicks in, with excellent waiters and ever-improving cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's well worth the trip. Attached is a photo from our first meal together, which still makes my mouth water despite my limited photography skills. 5/5

01/10/2026: A real gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and smiles. The food is entirely homemade, using high-quality ingredients that are evident in every dish. The portions are generous, everything is well-prepared and delicious. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming; you immediately feel at ease. I highly recommend this place!

07/06/2026: Excellent: The quality is top-notch, the portions are generous, and the price is more than reasonable. I especially loved the francesinha, which was excellent. That said, all the dishes are very good and homemade. They have regular themed evenings (rock band or fado). In the summer, the terrace is quiet and pleasant. It's become a habit to come here whenever we want to dine out or order takeout. I don't understand the negative comments from people who mention "KFC" or "Burger King" as other experiences. Come to Manu's if you enjoy good food and delicious dishes. Plus, the service is fast, and everyone is friendly and smiling!

11/09/2026: We went for lunch today, a group of four, and not a single person was disappointed. We ate very well, the staff were friendly, and I highly recommend the restaurant Ma Grande Chaumière.

27/10/2026: Food: The famous onion soup is excellent. Unfortunately, the quality dropped significantly with the main course. The duck breast was still good, albeit lukewarm. The accompanying pumpkin mash was barely seasoned, if at all, and tasted of nothing. The Angus steak was a complete disaster. The first time we tried it, the steak, ordered medium-rare, was almost well-done and had deep cuts along its length. We sent it back. The second time, the steak was medium, still far from medium-rare (see photos), and very tough. Most of it went back. The gratin was okay. A positive point, which actually applies to the service: we didn't have to pay for the steak. Service: Especially considering the circumstances, the service was excellent. The waiter was very friendly and understanding. When the second steak was also half-sent back, he offered a different main course. Since we had already eaten at different times, we declined. As a gesture of goodwill, we were offered a complimentary crème brûlée, but unfortunately it was cold and didn't taste particularly good, so we left it. Atmosphere: The dining room is wonderful, historic, and beautiful; the closely spaced tables are part of the charm. However, the relatively loud modern music and very bright lighting were rather bothersome.

23/10/2026: Amazing pizza! Even though I arrived 45 minutes before closing without a reservation, the staff found me a table. I've never tasted a pizza like it. I didn't give it 5 stars because the edges were a little burnt.

28/09/2026: Great restaurant, we eat there regularly and are never disappointed. The food is excellent and homemade. The atmosphere is calm and serene. I highly recommend trying it; you won't be disappointed. The prices are more than reasonable, and you'll receive a very warm welcome.

04/10/2026: My husband and I were for dinner with our tour group last week. We had an amazing time! The food was fabulous and the service was exemplary. The servers were attentive and very pleasant. The outdoor dining area was so pretty. I would highly recommend this place.

02/10/2026: I popped into this little café to take a break from the rain, and I discovered a wonderful place! The atmosphere is peaceful, the lady who serves is incredibly kind and attentive, and the coffee is delicious, not to mention affordable. I highly recommend it and I'll be back soon :)

16/07/2026: We celebrated our son's 18th birthday at Le Rendez-Vous Restaurant and everything was perfect! A huge thank you to Max and Jamila for their professionalism, availability, and kindness. They helped us with the organization, setting up the decorations, and prepared an excellent buffet. Thanks to them, we had an unforgettable evening. We highly recommend them!

10/07/2026: Disgusting. The minced meat brick was inedible. The mhajeb was completely empty, it's ridiculous.

16/05/2026: Fantastic bakery with a wonderful owner! We tried about half of their products and everything was delicious! The owner even made sandwiches especially for us! Highly recommended!
