09/07/2025: At the Merville Franc market. 2 12-packs of specials advertised at €13 per 12-pack, opened by the fishmonger and eaten at a corner of the table. Price paid: €26. At the P’tit Mousse in Trouville, 2 12-packs (the same) advertised at €16 per 12-pack, bill €58. ????: I was served the special at €24 instead of the €16 requested, I was charged €10 to open them, without being warned. I don't like being ripped off... It went to hell with the staff, as I realized the deception before tasting, I was reimbursed. To enjoy yourself at the advertised price, drive a few kilometers.

Tartiflette with water on the edges of the dish, bacon only in the middle of the preparation and only a thin slice of raw ham as an accompaniment.
Staff not very smiling, a waiter even going to smoke outside and who starts serving again without washing his hands.
Absolutely avoid.
07/11/2024: We had lunch in this restaurant with decoration inspired by the atmosphere of skiing. You can enjoy good pancakes or good cheese dishes (raclette, tartiflette, etc.). Very nice place to enjoy a comforting meal.

Des entrées plaisantes et bien agréables mais déçus par 2 des 3 Plats.. présentation décevante peu copieux. Les serveurs font leur possible mais l'ambiance ne semble pas toujours sereine..
Beaucoup de bruit dans le restaurant qui offre néanmoins un cadre exceptionnel..
18/09/2024: Make a reservation if you want to sit in the beautiful, classic part of the restaurant. Food was expensive but underwhelming. Service was poor. My husband's plat came 20 minutes before mine did...they took his away to reheat shortly before mine arrived...then we waited another 10 minutes for his to come back. Cannot recommend.

Menu exclusively of oysters and mussels, in a typical and very simple atmosphere facing the sea. We feel good there 😌. The boss is very sociable and shares slices of life with us.
The fries may be industrial, but excellent and cooked properly, so nothing to be offended given the constraints existing on an island 😎.

06/09/2024: We had very good memories during our visit in 2017 and 2019, but unfortunately our last experience was disappointing. The welcome was well below our expectations, with unkempt and unkempt waiters, some of whom smoked in front of customers. This does not reflect the image of this establishment that we appreciated so much. In addition, the quality of the oysters and shrimp was not up to what we had experienced before. It's a real shame for such a magical and authentic place. We hope that these points will be reviewed, particularly in terms of service, in order to restore all of this place's charm and quality. But what happened?

21/09/2024: Disappointment over the absence of a roasting date
I am very disappointed with my recent experience at Terre de Café. I bought two packs of coffee, but there was no roast date listed on the package. For a specialty coffee shop, this is unacceptable. This information is essential to guarantee the freshness and quality of the product.
In addition, I had a coffee there which was not good. At the checkout, the person, apparently with no knowledge of coffee, offered me a shot of espresso. For specialty coffee, the extraction time plays a very important role: the more the coffee is extracted, the more bitter it becomes. This calls into question the competence of the staff.
21/09/2024: A must visit if you enjoy good coffee. They have a very big selection of coffee beans aswell. I always bring a couple of bags back home.

21/09/2024: We had reserved a table on a Saturday evening, we still had not received our dishes 1h15 after ordering (in exaggeration). We had ordered a drink but we weren't even served drinks for 1 hour 15 minutes. Some customers who arrived after us were served before. No one came to see us to explain the situation.
We ended up leaving after 1:20, without the waiters even noticing.
Too bad, we won't come back again.
20/09/2024: Very professional welcome. The cheese platter offered to me was delicious. Perhaps a little salad was missing to freshen things up. I let myself be guided about the wine and it was good advice.

Frankly, it has to be done.
Additionally, the employees are very friendly.
14/08/2024: Magical place, the tea room is an old train car. Special mention to Natalie, friendly, pleasant, she explained the letter to us very well, making an effort with Spanish, which is appreciated. The delicious products, if you are in the area, do not hesitate to have a tea or coffee, the place is worth a visit.

We showed up there in the evening, the restaurant seemed closed but inside it was lit with three people inside. The Google listing says they are open but the blinds are down...we went elsewhere
