29/11/2024: Super friendly staff/ owners! Was made to feel very welcome as soon as I entered. Food is good wholesome food, I ordered a simple salad which was perfect (fresh and tasty). Good espresso too! Highly recommend after visiting Villa Savoye on the way back to the station.

The welcome is friendly and professional.
Very good selection of wine to accompany your lunch meals.
The daily specials are varied, of good quality and at a fair price.
Don't hesitate, go for it!

24/08/2024: We were there as a family for a birthday and it was a great discovery! A hearty and delicious menu, prepared with farm products: starter, main course, dessert and aperitif! A restaurant with good value for money in a beautiful, quiet setting, with a good life in Périgueux and the surrounding area! The service was fast: but the same dish for everyone because the restaurant does not have a lot of staff! It didn't bother us because everyone loves duck breast as well as all the other products offered for starters and dessert!
Don’t hesitate to stop by their store to buy local products!
I highly recommend this restaurant!

25/05/2025: I visited the restaurant for Mother's Day. The menu included a choice of 3 starters, 3 main courses, and 2 desserts. The plates were elegantly and generously presented 🤩, but it was the dishes themselves that were delicious, with perfectly cooked dishes 😋
As for the service, it was impeccable despite the packed room 👏
My only regret was not having been there sooner 🤷♀️
11/05/2025: Having fallen on a skateboard and bleeding, I had the misfortune of asking to borrow the toilet (I am a regular customer). I was refused access because I did not consume, a deplorable mentality.

01/09/2024: Very pretty decor, for the rest my gods friendly as a prison door..... price much too expensive for what it offers no flavor, the waiters who speak in Arabic to each other....... I do not recommend at all.

27/06/2025: I would have liked mussels like the ones shown in other photos. Unfortunately, there weren't any available during my visit. Instead, the meat was not particularly good. Stringy and a bit too fatty.
The fries were very good.

21/09/2024: Excellent meal, a menu that changes every 2 to 3 weeks, a menu that offers starters, desserts that you cannot find elsewhere, the room was really unusual, very pretty, the staff very welcoming and friendly, I recommend this restaurant without hesitation
06/09/2024: I strongly advise against it, I was served scorched rice which smelled strongly of carbon, my mother, who ordered a piece of meat and it had a very bitter taste, who was nauseated all evening.

02/10/2024: We booked for a Sunday lunchtime, when we arrived there we understood that we had done well to book, the welcome and the service are of a very high quality, we assume that they had attended a hotel management school , for the quality of the dishes it was simply good and well presented on the plate!!! To accompany the meat dish I chose a wine, the waiter kindly directed me to another choice which turned out to be very fair, very reasonable price, I highly recommend
21/09/2024: Came during the week for a lunch, very poorly received, the owner of the restaurant haughty and disrespectful, refuses to open the parasols, supposedly broken or the other excuse was because of the wind!!!! So that strangely the boss agrees to open the parasol for the next table a few minutes later.
Sends customers away when it is thanks to customers that they can continue to open their restaurant. It would be useful to start respecting the people who come to eat in your restaurant and on top of that the meal was lukewarm.
The meal was lukewarm.
First and last time for us in this restaurant.

J'ai du gratter la croûte de la pizza qui était parsemé de morceaux brûlés !
15/09/2024: En vacances à Fayence pour quelques jours nous avons été 2 fois manger à La Farandole en famille, avec notre bébé de 2 ans 1/2, et c’était super! Nous avons mangé une fois sur la terrasse couverte et une fois à l’intérieur, le service est super, les serveurs sympas et les plats sont excellents ! Pâtes ou pizza, tout est bon! Superbe découverte, et la patronne Manon qui était enceinte, et presque à terme continuait d’accueillir chaleureusement, on lui souhaite d’ailleurs plein de bonheur avec son bébé ! Merci pour ces bons moments!

04/04/2024: 15 day stay. Comfort of the rooms is excellent and they are spacious. Remarkable welcome and kindness from the staff with a special mention to Manon, Hikram (phonetic), Priscilla, their manager and the two night reception staff. The meals are plentiful and of good quality and let's not talk about the morning buffet, it is "gargantuan*. Cleaning is done once a week 👍.
The little thing to add would be the Canal +, Bein Sport and Eurosport channels.
I will return to this hotel without problem.

24/03/2024: This hotel and incredible levels taken and services the staff and very welcoming the meals its excellent the room and very beautiful and the bed very comfortable small downside is that the TV and SCART so no channel in particular but for the price and the offers it's very good the swimming pool. the spa and the hammam its very clean and very beautiful thank you to the person who made this hotel I recommend it

25/07/2024: It is a small but cute hotel, there is a parking problem and the rooms are small.
25/04/2024: My lunch at Le Friedland was rather pleasant, especially for the possibility of sitting on the terrace, but I found it a little expensive even compared to the area (for this type of brasserie clearly). I paid 30.30 euros for a burger and a French toast, both good but in my opinion a little too expensive, I repeat. Otherwise pleasant staff and rather wide choice.
