10/10/2026: Three of us went for lunch. It was a weekday and we wanted a quick and easy meal. We sat on a pleasant terrace and received friendly service. The food was what we expected; it was well-cooked and presented, and the price was reasonable.

01/10/2026: In fact, nothing works in this place... Unpleasant welcome, excessive waiting time... justified by the cook drinking while sitting at a table, unjustified moralizing from the staff... In short, at 6 euros a pint, run away!

17/09/2026: We come to Landevieille regularly and we always enjoy eating at Val d'Aure. The food is made with fresh ingredients. The set lunch menu (starter/main course/dessert and coffee) for €15.80 is really excellent 👍. Excellent value for money. We'll be back next April 🙂.

08/09/2026: The food was excellent, no complaints about the cuisine or the restaurant itself, which is nice. The prices are very reasonable. However, the waitress didn't seem happy to be working there, or to be working at all 🤷🏻‍♂️. She wasn't friendly, which is a shame.

15/08/2026: A really nice crêperie: the welcome is great, the galettes are very generous, and the cider menu is also well-stocked. A place worth discovering on the square!

29/07/2026: Arrived at 7:45 pm, served quickly, very good meal. Dessert was average, the ice cream was a little melted but still good. A shame about the parfait and the lack of a canopy for outdoor dining. Regards.

09/10/2026: Lunch with friends. We chose the set menu: everything was delicious from the starter to the dessert at a very reasonable price. The welcome and service were attentive and discreet. Pleasant setting. Excellent value for money. I recommend booking.

26/09/2026: Incredible! I ordered catering on Monday for the upcoming weekend, and there were absolutely no problems (for about thirty people, over two meals). This caterer is organized, helpful, and attentive; they'll do exactly what you need. And the quality? We had restaurant-quality food where we ordered. Really, everything was perfect. Thank you again.

26/09/2026: The pizzas were excellent in every way: perfectly cooked crust and generous toppings. The homemade sorbets were very tasty.

25/09/2026: We discovered this restaurant at lunchtime today and had a great meal; everything was delicious. We were passing through in our campervan and have definitely noted the address for when we're ever in the area again. The price and quality were excellent, for us it was very good.

25/04/2026: The hotel is ideally located near the forest. Our room with a lake view was very pleasant. The hotel restaurant is good and offers a vegetarian menu. Everyone was very attentive. If we return to Huelgoat, we will gladly stay here again.

25/10/2026: The welcome was fantastic, the restaurant was beautifully decorated for Halloween. And I ate the best mussels, they were excellent.

24/10/2026: The meal was very good. We shared a platter, I had a plate of salmon pasta, my wife had mussels, and for dessert, a gourmet tea. The Halloween decorations were up, which was a nice touch. Overall, the meal was good, but there wasn't quite enough pasta in my dish for the amount of salmon it had. Furthermore, and this is what bothers me most, the menu is online, yet the prices are much higher when you actually see the menu in the restaurant (30 euros for the platter online versus 36 in the restaurant, and all the dishes were several euros more expensive than the online menu). It's unprofessional; you expect a certain price and end up paying more. The various menus online are several years old, and you can see how the prices have changed. The website doesn't show the actual menu with prices, so the real price is misleading at the register. Please update it; it will prevent other disappointed customers.

16/11/2025: Haven't rated the food as we didn't eat here. The restaurant was busy and when we walked in not one staff member attended to us, we had to literally stop a member of staff to ask for a table for 2. They just shrugged and pointed to a table of 6 nearby. We then had to get more attention to get menus. Then again to order to be told there was no steak left in a rude way. So we just left. There was a noisy atmosphere and a bit pub like at the bar area which didn't make it feel like a restaurant. It is a big place with 2 floors, but they need to have enough staff to cope with the size they can cater for and train their staff better. Whilst we were waiting I noticed others also struggling to get attention and quite a lot of food left on plates, which is bever a good sign.

08/09/2026: A coffee costs three euros.... It would have been nice, but the prices are unacceptable. An umbrella with two loungers costs €40 a day, and only for two people, with little space between them. At that point, you'd be better off at the public beach nearby.

Excellent value for money, with beautifully presented dishes and simple yet satisfying brasserie fare: steak, croque-monsieur… there’s something for everyone. The dining room is truly pleasant and tastefully decorated, with a great atmosphere and friendly service. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable and enjoy taking your time. A great discovery that we highly recommend! 😊
