05/07/2026: TikTok's most famous hot chocolate is worth every penny (and believe me, I carefully calculate the ROI of every meal). The atmosphere is beautiful, super traditional. The price is steep, but the creaminess of that chocolate with the fresh whipped cream counts as an 'investment in well-being' in my budget.

18/07/2026: The welcome was adequate. I had a pleasant time on the terrace; the interior is cozy. The drinks are expensive. The restrooms were clean, but I couldn't get the water taps to turn on in either the men's or women's restrooms. I'll come back sometime.

09/07/2026: We sat on the terrace at 10 a.m. just to have a coffee. The terrace was almost empty. Nobody came... then a couple who seemed rather posh sat down. And then the staff immediately left. The waiter took their order and then went back inside, completely ignoring us. Slightly discriminatory, don't you think?! Anyway, we had our coffee 50 meters away.

23/05/2026: Sick all night. More details: After booking a table for two four days in advance, we ended up eating inside, poorly seated for the lake view, because the head waitress apparently couldn't remember our name… But it wasn't a big deal, I knew the place and all I wanted was to introduce my companion to the fried food. It was pretty good, the wine wasn't, the waiters were friendly, but the restaurant was showing its age (the restrooms, menus, etc… it's still stuck in the past, like when I used to go there much younger). And disaster struck: as soon as we got home, we took turns going to the restroom to throw up until 4 a.m.

17/05/2026: Reservation not accepted, so no choice of table. Vomiting all night after a fried meal. Shameful! The inn isn't what it used to be!

30/03/2026: Don't miss L'Abbatiale in Corbie; it's a charming and cozy little restaurant that deserves to be better known. The welcome is warm and friendly. It all starts with amuse-bouches while you choose your dish and wait. The menu is small, but that's a guarantee of homemade cuisine using local and seasonal produce, and it shows. The vegetables are full of flavor, my duck breast was tender and perfectly cooked—we thoroughly enjoyed it. The dishes are as delicious as they are beautiful. Even children are treated like royalty. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return. Thank you to the manager and the chef.
