18/07/2024: Wonderful lunch! We happened to be passing en route to Evrlst record store and noticed it was popular and the ‘steak frites’ looked good so we decided to come back for lunch… so glad we did! The special was Pave de boeuf with frites, delicious and such good value. My husband had the tuna nicoise, much better than other more expensive establishments in old town. The pizza was also good and the local rose wine was the best I had during my week in Nice. Pleasant, efficient service at great prices, highly recommended!

08/09/2024: Les deux boulangeries voisines étant en vacances je me suis rendue à la boulangerie Campagne dont le prédécesseur vendait un excellent pain, le meilleur de la ville avec celui de la rue Ste Claire. Quelle déception. Outre le prix exorbitant de quasiment 10 Euros le kg pour un pain de campagne, j'ai eu beaucoup de difficultés pour le trancher et la qualité était médiocre, de telle sorte que mes invités ont préféré déjeuner avec du pain grillé Pelletier. Je n'y retournerai pas.

05/09/2024: Endroit très accueillant,vendeurs efficaces et agréable et pâtisserie très bonne , malgré un peut d'attente celle-ci en vaut le coup ! Je conseille !!

27/09/2024: Norwegian salad without flavor of frozen shrimp, a small slice of smoked salmon and a lot of salad and non-existent sauce.. not great. the gourmet coffee was good.

13/12/2024: excellent accueil, service parfait, le chef vient vous saluer et prendre de vos nouvelles, même pour une première fois. Une belle expérience culinaire et gustative. mention spéciale pour la terrine riz de veau tiède (!), le lièvre à la royale !

16/11/2024: Un régal. Tout était délicieux : tempura de langoustines en amuse-bouche, tourteau avec jus légèrement acidulé, accord crème – écrasé de pommes de terre – caviar – fumé au bois de hêtre, Saint Jacques parfaitement cuites avec truffes blanches très odorantes, Soufflé pistaches dans le lequel on plonge un sorbet griotte. Que de saveurs, sans que la cuisine soit inutilement compliquée. Bon vin. Service parfaitement attentionné, sans être envahissant ou guindé. Tout est fait très intelligemment. Seule ombre au tableau, quelques tables d’américains où les convives « braillent » au lieu de parler doucement (sont-ils tous sourds dans ce pays ?). Toutefois le restaurateur n’y est pour rien. Lorsque le restaurant aura besoin d’une rénovation, il faudra travailler l’acoustique pour baisser le niveau sonore … ?

01/12/2024: I don't mind there being inflation... But it really has a good back. The prices are unreasonable, unjustified. We're not in the 7th arrondissement anyway. 12 euros per punch! 3 cl. A gin and tonic displayed at 11 euros on the sign (which is already very expensive) and actually charged 13 euros at the bar. In a completely standard bar, in one of the neighborhoods that remains affordable. Long live uninhibited gentrification.

02/11/2024: An unforgettable moment! Great welcome despite the late hour, we arrived from Montpellier. Warm and then festive atmosphere at the end of the evening (great play list!!!🎉). Generous, refined and truly tasty dishes. Absolutely worth discovering! 🤩

16/11/2024: Hello, I went to the restaurant, I had a good time, the dishes are excellent and the team is very professional. Every time I pass by Le Chambon I stop there because I know that I will always be very well received . Don't change anything, it was perfect. Thanks to them. See you soon

11/11/2024: For a night or two, decent hotel close to the N88 exit. Despite the proximity of the motorway, the rooms are very well soundproofed and the bedding is excellent. Small bathroom and tiny shower tray with curtain. Used carpet. Overall good for resting before hitting the road again.
