30/09/2026: Decent service and pleasant cuisine, but be careful about forgetting some options.

26/09/2026: Over the years, the quality has declined… while the prices have skyrocketed! An example? We ordered our usual club sandwich. It used to cost nearly €17 and came with four club sandwich triangles and fries. Now: €19.90… for just two triangles. Prices go up and portions go down… What's a shame is that Le Roussillon is no longer the neighborhood bar-restaurant where locals liked to grab a coffee, an aperitif, and the occasional meal. It's become a tourist trap… And since we're from the neighborhood, we don't belong there anymore… So goodbye Le Roussillon…

05/09/2026: Yesterday we had moules marinières, Corsican-style mussels. I don't recommend them; they had no shells, just boiled mussels, not even salty. Really disappointing.

15/10/2026: The new menu looks tempting. I find the place a bit noisy, but that's part of the pub atmosphere.

12/10/2026: I came for lunch with a colleague during a site visit. The duck breast and andouillette sausage were excellent! A minor complaint about the chocolate fondant, which promised Bonne Maman hazelnut spread, but it was (in my opinion) a different, lower-quality hazelnut spread. The wait is a bit long when it gets busy. We'll definitely come back if we have the chance.

06/07/2026: In short, it was a truly magical experience. A weekend booked discreetly for my partner's birthday, and the secret was kept until the very end, right up until we discovered the chalet. Everything was perfect: the accommodation, the dinner, the thoughtful touches, the service, the breakfast... We've already recommended your Domaine and will be booking again very soon. 29/06/2026: My wife and I dined at Le Haut Jardin two nights in a row, and both were evenings of exceptional cuisine. The ingredients were of the highest quality, primarily local, showcased through expert cooking techniques, boundless creativity, an explosion of flavors, unexpected yet wonderful combinations, and attentive yet friendly service. The chef's passion is truly evident in every dish. As for the accommodations, the chalets are beautifully laid out and equipped, with a private garden, a lovely terrace, and a jacuzzi. A true haven of peace, both relaxing and rejuvenating. I highly recommend it.

07/06/2026: We received a wonderful welcome and discovered the restaurant with an exceptional and excellent beef stew and a perfectly cooked fish medley. Passing through on the recommendation of a colleague from a wine shop, it was well worth stopping by. We will be back. It's a great place. Best of luck! Thank you.

15/05/2026: We booked this guesthouse during our Canal du Midi cycling trip. We received a very warm welcome and a friendly, family atmosphere. Our e-bikes were safely stored and recharged. A luxurious room with a sitting area and a spa bath! It's a shame we only stayed one night.

16/01/2026: A small establishment with a limited menu featuring fresh, homemade dishes. Traditional cuisine and fish, depending on the season's catch. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish, and I loved the serving hatch, just like in the movie "La Grande Vadrouille" 🤣. The dining room isn't large, so it's very intimate, but it's not recommended for very active children. An address to remember, especially since it's listed in the 2026 Petit Futé guide.

04/07/2026: My father and I came to Saint Malo to stay at Hotel de la Porte Saint Pierre. Tiffany, at the main desk welcomed us very nicely. Her husband David runs breakfast and a bar/restaurant across the street and their son helps. They too were very welcoming. At first, we were given a room on the 4th floor (for Americans this is the 5th floor). We absolutely loved the room and the view, but unfortunately my father's leg gave him trouble going up/down the stairs. Tiffany was able to change our room to the 2nd floor which my dad could handle better. We felt she really helped accommodate his needs. We were extremely happy with our stay while we were there for 4 nights. The hotel offers breakfast acros the street. There is a very nice selection of sweet treats, cheese, a soft boiled egg station, coffee, and juices. Think "light breakfast". The hotel is literal steps away from the city's ramparts where one can walk and take in the ocean views. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and their staff who, im my opinion, work very hard as a family to make sure people enjoy their stay. I wish I could give them more stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

27/06/2026: I just stayed here for several days and truly enjoyed this hotel. The family & staff are kind and welcoming, my room seemed newly renovated was very comfortable. The cafe/bar across the street is a great place to cool off with a plate of fresh oysters. The magnificent beach is only steps away and changes every hour due to the dramatic tide. Thank you for such a pleasant stay!

10/08/2026: Too bad, we would have loved to come, but dogs are prohibited. We have a small dog, so we'll go somewhere else.

09/07/2026: A restaurant I discovered by chance, but what a delight it was! A charming welcome, a lovely menu... I had a plate of local charcuterie and a succulent chicken, not forgetting the sweet cherry-peach sorbet for dessert. Clearly, the products used are seasonal and of excellent quality, all complemented by a fruity local rosé. It's rare that I'm so enthusiastic... thank you to this couple for their professionalism and dedication.
