24/09/2024: A restaurant that offers very good dishes from starter to dessert.
The salads are fresh and delicious, the Aubrac meat tender and aligot tasty.
The tart and the gentian sorbet are crazy 🙏🏻 all that with a little eau de vie for the final touch.
Pleasant service, I recommend.

23/11/2024: No more pancakes at 4 p.m. on a Saturday, it's a shame but it happens, I order a chocolate cake which will certainly not arrive with the drinks, after a questionable wait. When we leave we are criticized for wanting to pay the bill in several installments, a general feeling that the boss has no consideration for the customers...
Not in the habit of leaving bad reviews, yet here, it seems fair to me

07/11/2024: Always very nice to eat here, economical and friendly omelette for a quick meal.
When eating on the terrace, you will have a very elegant and unobstructed view of the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville, and the owner will, as always, welcome you with rare kindness.
Concerning the quality of the air, people were smoking next to me, and luckily the winds were favorable to me, so I was able to breathe 95% pleasant air.

01/10/2024: Really disappointed, a couscous dish of the day with burnt merguez, meatballs as well and semolina with too much harissa. A good cook does not cook as badly. Too bad for the reputation of the restaurant.

02/10/2024: Real quality cuisine prepared and presented with care. We dined several evenings at Bilboquet, always being satisfied and very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the preparations.

11/09/2024: We were 11 people, we were very well looked after, we ordered several dishes, wine and coca cola, it was €32.50 per person
10/09/2024: I was there with my boyfriend, we both ordered moules, one with cream and the orther with cream and cheese. Fantastic dinner for 18€! We were served by 3 different people, especially nice was a woman from Ukraine that spoke amazingly good French and seemed to be perfectly prepared and familiar with all the details about served meals. Additionally we ordered local white wine and the desserts and it was so good! My only complaint would be the price of the dessert, just a bit too high. :)

13/12/2024: The location at the gates of Chambord Castle, the most beautiful in the Loire, is definitely worth it. The hotel does not deserve the SLH category due to the lack of management and maintenance, both in rooms and common areas.
The service seems very novice and presumptuous. Of course you need to pay a good manager to look at the maintenance details.
The restaurant and food service, although it claims to be good, almost always loses in the details of food temperature or point. Classic cocktails and very good local wines.
A location pays to visit the main wonders of the eastern Loire area.

15/08/2024: J’avais donné un très bon avis, mais c’était lorsque le restaurant n’avait que trois ou quatre tables. Ça fait deux fois que nous y allons et que le restaurant est presque plein, ça change tout, une serveuse de très mauvaise humeur, qui ne vous voit pas pendant 45 minutes et qui lorsque vous lui faites signe, vous répond que elle passera lorsqu’elle le pourra. 30 minutes après, on s’est levé, nous sommes allés payer et finir le repas à la maison. Très désagréable. J’écris cela card je ne veux pas que des personnes soient trompées par mon premier avis qui était un peu prématuré.
08/08/2024: Restaurant très accueillant on sent un patron qui veut bien faire.
On a très bien mangé les fruits de mer d'une fraîcheur, un beau plateau et le rapport qualité prix est là .
On a passé un très bon moment et ayant fait le tour des resto à Canet je sais de quoi je parle.

Je recommande donc chaudement ce restaurant.
Pour ma part j’ai hâte d’y retourner !
02/09/2024: En hyper centre de Niort, un restaurant avec une agréable terrasse ouverte à l’étage. Dans l’assiette, c’est très bien aussi: excellent croque à la truffe, porc et poulpe très goûteux. Service efficace. Grosse connaissance sur le vin. Une adresse recommandée.

I had reserved a table for 1 p.m.
When we arrived, we were told "no no, there is nothing reserved..." then as I insisted, ensuring my good faith...I was told "OK we will create a table for you.... and then Nothing but then Nothing... I think we must have become transparent no one calculated for us anymore... we waited... then in the face of so much unprofessionalism we went to eat elsewhere!
Too disappointed!
10/10/2024: Quiet place. The food is quite good for the price, taking into account the range of dining options. Excellent service. They treated us very well. Furthermore, the waitress took the trouble to explain everything to us in English, since we do not speak French. Highly recommended.
