20/10/2025: I had the great pleasure of discovering this establishment during an after-work event, and I was absolutely delighted by the welcome, the service, and the quality of the platters. 🥰😊🥳 Following this very positive experience, I returned for dinner with my family, and it confirmed my first impression. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👍🤩 The quality/portion/price ratio is excellent. 💯👏😋 The dishes are tasty and generous. 😋🤤🥳 The cocktail menu is as incredible as the cocktails we tasted. 🍹🍸😍 We really fell in love with the popcorn margarita! 23/01/2026: Returning in January 2026 The restaurant is a bit dated, the welcome could be improved, the service was adequate, but the waitress's smile was missing. The food was good quality and plentiful. Good.

31/12/2025: The welcome and service were very friendly, our trout with almonds was delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We will gladly return without hesitation.

01/09/2025: A Very Positive Review of Le Repère in Dax A place I 100% recommend! From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with incredible warmth and friendliness. The owner is great, always smiling and attentive, and the customers who frequent the place create a truly friendly atmosphere. The menus are excellent (indeed, very, very, very excellent 😍) with excellent value for money. You feel good there, you eat very well, and above all, you have a wonderful time. Whether it's for a meal, a drink, or an evening with friends, the atmosphere is fantastic, relaxed, and friendly. A real place to discover and share! 👌 I highly recommend Le Repère in Dax to anyone looking for a good time around good food and a warm atmosphere.

31/10/2025: I've stopped at this bar/tobacconist several times, but it's always the same. The blonde woman who works at the tobacco shop is nice. Her colleague, who's about 60 years old, well, I think it's time for him to retire. And then there's the waitress at the bar, who's always so grumpy and spends all her time complaining. I hope she at least enjoys her job, otherwise her days must be long.

22/10/2025: Passing through the Relais de la Croisée des Route. I recommend the lunch break, exceptional value for money, very high-quality, homemade products. Very friendly owner. To do again on a next visit. The Vosges.

10/07/2025: Thank you, madam, who was kind. My son lost his ring in the toilet. We will come back. He found it and you are kind. We ate well. However, they asked me for rare, it was a little overcooked, but you are so kind that we will not hold it against you. See you soon.

10/07/2025: Don't ask for medium-rare food, or you'll end up with burnt-on soles. The menu and atmosphere are a bit dated.

29/12/2025: We stopped by chance because it was 1 p.m., we were hungry but short on time! We found a good meal (burger, pasta, chicken curry, sandwich, pizza…), drinks, and quality coffee to take away or eat in! We had lunch there (tables, chairs, cutlery, restrooms…)! The welcome was very pleasant, the place is clean and well-maintained! We will gladly return!

26/10/2025: A very average salad (pasta, chicken), a bad lemon tart, a baguette that looked like it was from the day before and a can of beer... All for €14!!!! It's frankly excessive...

29/01/2026: I came with some friends two weeks ago, and the three of us ordered food (we spent at least twenty euros). After about 30 minutes, one of the women who works there (in her thirties or forties with brown hair) practically threw us out because we dared to take out a drink that wasn't from that chain. I should mention that we had already spent over €20 just before. We had to leave, and the waitress spoke to us like a fishwife, making snide remarks, giving us dirty looks, and speaking in a very unpleasant tone, saying, "Just in case, the bin is over there," as if I wasn't planning on throwing away my trash. As we were leaving, we at least had the courtesy to say goodbye, even though we'd just been kicked out, and of course, there was no response, just a cold stare. Simply saying, "Could you put your drinks away? You're only supposed to consume what you buy here," would have been enough, and we wouldn't have had to leave. This isn't the first time I've encountered unpleasant staff; they never seem to smile. (P.S.: We might have been able to pay for drinks if the prices had been lower)...

21/06/2025: Restaurant to avoid unless you don't want homemade food

16/06/2025: Lunch in a group of 80 people. Very friendly welcome, efficient service, but the contents of the plates didn't live up to the €28 per person price… no home cooking, from the Metro?… and an incredible hubbub. It may be good à la carte, but not for large groups.

02/01/2026: Quantity and quality, excellent gourmet platter, the only downside is that it's cold in the restaurant

30/12/2025: The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. A pleasant place to be! It's basic, classic fare, but always good and at an affordable price.

08/01/2026: Reservation for 9 PM on December 31, 2025. Aperitif served at 10:15 PM with the verrine (small glass of wine) spilled on my husband. The foie gras was very good. The duck breast was cooked pink as requested. It was served rare, sent back to the kitchen, and returned overcooked—what a waste! The mashed potatoes were undercooked, and I had to search for the truffles. The wine sauce was very good. No music, no atmosphere. The waiter had his fly open all evening. His jeans were below his buttocks. He didn't know which tables were where. Very disappointed considering the price. The service was extremely slow—3.5 hours. A memorable New Year's Eve. A restaurant to avoid.

11/07/2025: Expensive. Hot water in a carafe. The risotto was very average and expensive and the mussels marinière were lukewarm and without juice. You should just have a glass and go eat somewhere else!

10/07/2025: Superb! The oysters were particularly good and well opened. The sardines were well grilled. The mussels were superb! Top-notch service by very friendly people!! The complimentary digestif at the end made everything unforgettable! We stayed there one evening, we'll be back, and we highly recommend it! Keep it up!!

26/01/2026: The draft beer there is excellent. Have a great time relaxing.

25/01/2026: The restaurant is well located, and the coffee and chocolate are acceptable, though it's not Leonidas. However, the service is quite fast and completely indifferent; they need to improve in that area.

20/01/2026: Delicious, friendly, and almost the only restaurant that was open.

10/11/2025: It's a rip-off. We leave and we're still hungry! On the other hand, I discovered that the bread from Super U with butter (we're three and he only gives two) is actually good!
