30/10/2025: We received a poor welcome when we arrived at the restaurant from the waiter. During the meal, he made a mistake with our main course order (and with dessert, which I didn't dare point out). When I mentioned it, he sighed in annoyance and slammed the door, taking my plate with him. Even though he tried to make amends afterward, I've never seen anything like it from a waiter. One positive point, however, is that the food was good, but the waiter's bad mood makes me reluctant to return anytime soon.

30/12/2025: Perfect restaurant for a gourmet stopover on the A89, enjoying a delicious Périgord salad and duck confit with foie gras sauce! A delight...just what we were looking for to sample the main regional specialties of Périgueux...a warm welcome and excellent value for money! We'll be back next time we're in the area....

28/12/2025: A regular customer for years, I couldn't be served at 6:17 PM, even though the bar closes at 7:00 PM. "- I'm leaving before 7:00 PM." "Yes, but I've finished serving!" As for the pub, I think I'll stay away from it from now on. I'm at the Watson. One more time like this and I'll stop going to both places, which I'll regret. But you just don't treat customers like that.

01/09/2025: What a nice little restaurant. We were truly delighted by the quality and the taste of the food. Very good value for the money is the 3-course-lunch! Truly everything is a joy. There were 16 of us incl. eight children.

11/08/2025: 1) The woman serving was unfortunately awful, and the man with gray hair tried to compensate, which unfortunately only partially worked. We had empty glasses (so nothing left to drink). The water jugs were NOT clean; the surface was dirty. What I also can't stand is rubbing your head with paper when you're sweating and not washing your hands afterward. 2) My brother ordered a Capirinha, but got a Campari, after which they told us there was no Capirininha. 2) Our daughter wanted fries with her schnitzel, but got potato pieces. 3) The two dogs (we have a dog ourselves) were running around the restaurant, which was okay, but one of them defecated next to the stairs and this wasn't cleaned up immediately, an absolute no-go in a restaurant. 4) Some of the schnitzels (Milanese) were very tough because they hadn't been tapped. 5) Smoked an e-cigarette in front of me while paying the bill; that has no place in a restaurant. Bottle White wine after criticism but that does not change the facts

02/11/2024: Pink chicken breast: very undercooked potato. Cake too cold not defrosted enough. The festive moment was spoiled by a lack of cooking skills. Damage

06/12/2025: After booking a month in advance and confirming with a 30% deposit, the sheepfold in Rouxmesnil-Bouteille, without giving any reason, cancelled our reservation less than two weeks before the scheduled date. This left us in a very difficult situation. It's a lack of professionalism, unworthy of a company that doesn't honor its commitments.

08/02/2026: A peaceful and rejuvenating place surrounded by nature. The room was very clean, the jacuzzi was nice and hot, the atmosphere was tranquil, the meals were delicious and easy to heat up yourself, the night was peaceful, and the breakfast was perfect. I highly recommend it.

02/02/2026: Hello Very beautiful place, spotless room. The Nordic bath was not hot at all. At 3:30 pm, the water was only about 18 degrees Celsius. The same at 5:30 pm, 7:30 pm, and 8:30 pm. It's still very disappointing not being able to use the Nordic bath. I sent a text message to report the problem and received no response. Very disappointing.

23/01/2025: I usually stay at this hotel, where I am always made very welcome by the staff. The team is warm, always smiling, with a kind word for each customer. The hotel is ideally located and offers the possibility of free and safe parking, which is a real luxury in the Paris region. However, during my last stay, I occupied room 514, which could do with some updating, particularly in the bathroom. Finally, to my great regret, there are no longer bottles of water in the rooms for ecological reasons. I particularly miss this attention.

23/01/2025: Comfortable hotel. Super friendly reception and restaurant staff, they make you feel comfortable. I haven't been to this hotel in years, but everything is the same or better

06/09/2024: Arrived here 3/9/24 and it's closed, no notice to say when you are open or closed at the restaurant and Google is not correct .UPDATE...we managed to eat here 5/9/24 and it was great service and pizza was one of the best I have had,great taste & good base.would return again if passing. We had a good chat with the owner about quillan .
