Food was tasty and a good representation of Alsacian cuisine. We left a small backpack and the server chased us down towards the cathedral to return it. Great spot to stop while visiting this city.

18/07/2026: We came for dinner on a Friday evening as a couple. The evening began very pleasantly with an aperitif that lived up to our expectations. The view is beautiful, and the overall ambiance and setting are truly delightful! However, we were disappointed by the service and the meal as a whole. Firstly, the menus differed between the online menu and the menu in the restaurant. Specifically, the foie gras was extremely sinewy and very bland, and the chocolate mousse was runny and warm. The service was disorganized, with a very long wait (25 minutes for the bill, which we asked for three times, with staff present but chatting amongst themselves, plus coffee served after the bill was paid), and poorly organized for the restaurant's stated positioning. There was a musician playing, but the volume made conversation impossible at the table (a shame). In the end, despite a high-quality salmon gravlax and beef fillet, we left disappointed and without any desire to return.

19/07/2026: The service and friendliness of the waitress and waiters was excellent. The food was good: calamari, salad... A quick stop for a bite before continuing to explore the city.

25/05/2026: An incredible hotel in a perfectly maintained and decorated authentic medieval castle. The staff, the setting, the room amenities, the activities (pool, tennis, electric bikes...), the restaurant—absolutely everything is a delight. This was our second stay there, and it won't be our last.

11/06/2026: We received a gift voucher and chose La Table d'Antan to use it. The welcome was very warm, the meal delicious, including two slices of foie gras – it's been a long time since we've seen such generous portions in restaurants – and the duck breast was cooked to perfection. Our room was very quiet, overlooking the garden, and the bathroom was spotless. Go there, you won't be disappointed.

25/03/2026: I went home to have a coffee with my wife, but the owner stayed in his corner; there was nobody there except us. Luckily the TV was on, the atmosphere was really gloomy.

27/06/2026: We wanted to try this restaurant with the new owners, as we had previously dined there under the old ones. The decor is largely the same, though it has been repainted. The terrace is still as pleasant as ever. However, a major drawback during this period of intense heat is the lack of air conditioning, which makes dining less comfortable. The real highlight of our experience was the service: the two waitresses were absolutely lovely, smiling, and pleasant from beginning to end. As for the menu, we found it rather difficult to understand. Furthermore, the prices aren't displayed very clearly. It would be better if they were more easily identifiable, both at the restaurant entrance and on the menu itself, so that customers know exactly what to expect. As for the food, we were rather disappointed by the pizzas. The cheese calzone was really bland, and the country ham on the large pizzas was far too salty for our taste. Honestly, we've had much better pizza elsewhere. On the other hand, the tiramisu was excellent, a really pleasant surprise. In short, the big positives were the waitresses and the tiramisu. As for the rest, especially the pizzas and the readability of the menu, we left quite disappointed.
