11/05/2026: A great stay during the MotoGP weekend! A very warm welcome, friendly staff. Not far from the circuit by car or motorcycle, and the train station is a 5-minute walk for getting to Le Mans. The bedding is comfortable, and the room is functional. The restaurant offers homemade dishes. The only drawback I found was the soundproofing of the room; I could hear people walking and talking in the hallway, but it was quiet at bedtime. I'll be back.

18/05/2026: Places like this are a joy to find. We arrived at the end of service and the person greeted us with a smile so we could have lunch: a homemade dish with fries just the way we like them, and a delicious dessert too. Very friendly. Highly recommended.

13/06/2026: Beautiful town . Luis is the most wonderful host. Cakes were fantastic so was he.

15/05/2026: I entered this establishment and said "hello" and was greeted with a rather sharp "WHAT" from a seemingly angry French man from behind the bar. As I didn't reply (momentarily stunned) he followed on with a "WHAT DO YOU WANT". 1st, I asked whether hot chocolate was on the menu. 2nd, I asked why he felt the need to shout at me. He replied that he was like that !!!! Basil Faulty rides again is all I can say. The hot chocolate was average. Service was shocking. I rated the establishment 1 star because -10 wasn't an option. Pilgrims be careful.

26/05/2026: Good brasserie in Péronne. My opinion is mixed. I ate there once without any problems, and another time with a long wait and dishes that didn't meet my expectations. Nevertheless, the food is generally good.

02/07/2026: Food is good. Their salmon poke is very tasty and fresh. And it's worth to try out chocolate mousse for dessert, yet we have been asking if this is with set menu (main and dessert), end up we need to pay extra euro9 for this.

29/09/2025: We came for lunch on Saturday and had a very, very good meal. The food was very good and very well prepared. We each had a Caesar salad, a blueberry tart, a real delight, and two scoops of ice cream. The welcome was excellent, and even better for the welcome from your wonderful dog (I don't know her name ;). Thanks to you, we had a very pleasant time in your restaurant. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

25/07/2026: I used to frequent this restaurant often because of its location, the friendly service, and the menu. However, my last visit was disappointing. None of the requests I made when ordering were honored. The steaks in the hamburgers were overcooked, and the kidneys I wanted were also pink. The service was disorganized; the charcuterie and cheese board was served well after our aperitifs. Disappointing. Is this just the tourist effect?

20/07/2026: Very disappointing, overpriced for such poor quality. The children's menu (€13) consisted of a few fries and an inedible hamburger, judging by how overcooked it was, I think... tasteless patties with an aftertaste... in short, we didn't finish our plates. The setting is indeed very pretty with a superb view, but unfortunately, that's not what you find on the plate.

02/07/2026: The young lady was very welcoming and friendly. However, a few improvements could be made to the food. The bo bun was good, but the vermicelli noodles were ice cold. I know it's supposed to be served cold, but this was far too cold. As for the udon noodles, there were only three of them. Once I'd eaten those few noodles, all that was left was the broth, which was unfortunately much too salty to eat on its own.

05/06/2026: I chose to eat the lamb chops. They were excellent. I really enjoyed the lightly cooked vegetables on the side. The service was quick and very pleasant. I had a lovely time.

24/05/2026: Thanks to a gift box, we enjoyed dinner and two nights in a lovely setting. From receiving the keys to checking out, everything was perfect. The meal was exquisite, the breakfasts were generous, and the quiet room was so peaceful we slept like logs. I highly recommend it.

04/04/2026: There's nothing left to see. We came on a Saturday at lunchtime and it was practically empty. I just ordered a Welsh rarebit, which was overcooked mush. My wife had a goat cheese salad, but it was missing some of the ingredients: potatoes and new potatoes. This was clearly stated on the menu, and we told the waitress, but received no response. A disappointing brasserie. I don't recommend it.

11/03/2026: Excellent quality. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but couldn't finish it! The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend it.

11/07/2026: Really, really good, delicious, and large tarte flambée (or alternatively, pizza). Plus, very friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere… we'll definitely be back.

23/06/2026: A bit hot and noisy, but the food was excellent.

16/06/2026: For day visitors or golfers staying in the Arcachon Bay area, make sure there is no maintenance work being carried out on the greens (aeration, sanding, for example) because you will not be informed and will not receive any compensation for the reduced playing conditions. Furthermore, choose a time slot that allows you to use the changing rooms after your round. This is a shame for a golf course that prides itself on being of a high standard. Update June 16, 2026: Following my message expressing my dissatisfaction to the golf course management, I have been offered compensation equivalent to one green fee on a future visit.
