29/06/2026: Nice service and good spot. Food tasted horrible. We left to see the Sacre Couer and when we came back (45 min later) our plates where still on the table (with the food we didnt eat).

22/06/2026: We visited this lovely cafè every morning during our stay in Montemarte, and we loved everything about it. Great staff and cozy atmosphere. Our waitress Victoria was so nice and made sure everything was perfect for us. The glutenfree bread was delicious, the best I’ve had yet! We will definitely come back here!!

27/02/2026: What a great find, 95! I was in the neighborhood for the week and made it my go-to lunch spot every day. The welcome is always warm, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming (the place is full of regulars, retirees, and local workers). The service is impeccable, quick, and pleasant. The bistro cuisine is good, simple, with attention to detail, and very generous. The value for money is unbeatable: €17 for a starter and main course or main course and dessert, or €21 for a starter, main course, and dessert. I always ate very well (not having a sweet tooth, I didn't try the desserts). Special mention goes to the starters, which, besides being delicious, are also particularly generous. Every day, a daily special adds a starter, a main course, and a dessert to the menu, and they are just as good as the dishes on the regular menu. Thank you for your hospitality!

11/05/2026: The bedrooms with camping beds... I didn't judge the mattresses well; they gave me back pain. Otherwise, everything was fine. But the island needs improvement: the entire kitchen (0/10). The wallpaper in the kitchen needs to be redone. The kitchen needs to be enlarged. It's nice to have sandalwood; it would be better to do something much nicer. Sandalwood would be much better for the dining room; it deserves a refresh. But I really enjoyed the whole stay (20/20). The kitchen should be enlarged towards the fireplace, creating something like an open window. That would be nice, please. Thank you very much. The bedrooms have no light; the exposed beams would be better.

06/06/2026: Having recently moved to Bourg-Charente three years ago, I discovered this friendly place as soon as I arrived. A warm welcome, lovely and accommodating owners (they didn't have my brand of cigar and didn't hesitate to order it for me). In short, if you're passing through this town, hurry over; you won't regret it and you'll definitely be back.

26/06/2026: Bristro with a lot of history and much great food. The legumes were actually amazing, I'd only I could make them like this. They acquired flavor yet had great texture. Rare to enjoy a dish like that by itself but was amazing. The pate en croute was excellent with great layering of fatty and meaty layers and a delicious pastry crust. Tartare de de beuof had an amazing spice level to make every bit le interesting. The fries were deep golden and excellent crunch. Paired super well with a super light red on a scorching day. Will return again.

18/06/2026: The food was excellent, high-quality, and generous, just the way we like it. However, we felt rushed—between the starter and the main course, and then again when choosing dessert. We come to Le Gavroche because we have time to take our time, and here, we didn't get that feeling.

No complaints whatsoever; we'll definitely be back if it's still open next year, as it seems it will be demolished... a shame, because the mountain decor was lovely.

The small rooms are adorable, comfortable, and full of character, perfect for a peaceful stay away from the noise and bustle. The tranquility of the place is truly appreciated; you feel good there, almost as if time has stood still. A small, historic hotel full of charm, where you'll want to return.

The hotel stands out for its warm welcome and attentive staff. The rooms are comfortable, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated, offering a cozy atmosphere ideal after a day of sightseeing. The hotel is well-located, providing easy access to the main points of interest while remaining in a peaceful setting. The breakfast is varied, with fresh products that allow you to start the day off right.

11/07/2026: A blonde waitress who frequently sighs when you order coffee. She's annoyed and doesn't hesitate to tell you so! 😯 Her boss, on the other hand, has more consideration for the customer. He probably realizes that this is also how he pays her wages. I was planning to go there for lunch later, but this experience has completely put me off going back.
