15/01/2026: Great atmosphere on December 31st

31/12/2025: A lovely, fairly quiet little restaurant (we were seated upstairs), with pleasant service and good food. I thoroughly enjoyed the beef fillet with morels; it was very tender and beautifully presented. The sugar on the crème brûlée wasn't evenly melted, but I know from experience that it's not always easy to get right, and I still enjoyed it. I would return and I recommend it.

02/10/2025: A perfect welcome, we enjoyed exceptional dishes in a magnificent setting, with fast and very pleasant service. A bonus: our dogs are welcome. If you're looking for a treat, don't hesitate. Highly recommended.

16/01/2026: A complete waste of time if you want to book with a Wonderbox! I called to request a reservation and was told they don't accept weekend bookings! However, the dates offered were outside of weekends, which I pointed out to the very unpleasant person I spoke to. She hadn't even bothered to check before she was already looking for a reason to refuse. Caught off guard, she told me to send my information by email, as she didn't want to take it over the phone (I've never seen that before). Which I did. I received a reply stating that Wonderboxes that include a meal were no longer accepted and therefore my reservation was refused. Yet, it's one of the services offered by Wonderbox, which is unacceptable! In short, avoid them at all costs; the staff and methods are simply not worth the hassle!

31/01/2026: I didn't quite understand the positive feedback in the previous comments. This isn't exactly market cuisine. Homemade fries and duck or beef—the meat is very good. But it's not refined cuisine, and the price is surprisingly high! The plates are very small, the portion of fries really small—nothing extraordinary, and the price is high for a bistro. Disappointing for a village bistro. Won't go back.

27/10/2025: A friendly, no-nonsense bistro. You'll eat simple, traditional local dishes, just the way you like them. Bazas beef is on the menu. The welcome is straightforward and friendly. There's no room for extravagance like elsewhere. Open on Sundays. I recommend it.

10/05/2025: For me it's just my neighborhood tobacco. I've never eaten there. The staff is friendly.

09/12/2025: No politeness or friendliness whatsoever; you get the feeling you're bothering them, even when paying. One of the waiters used vulgar language while setting up the dining room for lunch and lectured another waiter in front of the customers. I ordered a butter crepe and I'm still wondering where the butter was.

23/11/2025: 2 fois que je viens 2 fois que la note de fin me semble plus élevée que prévue. Nous sommes venus entre amis. Je demande à diviser la note en 2, je règle plus de la moitié (ayant un enfant) et mon amie ressort avec une note plus élevée que moi... Allez comprendre... Et surtout aucune facture juste le montant à payer sans détails. Je n'y retournerai pas.

19/11/2025: Hello! Regarding our wedding reception at a hotel, we would like to commend the team for their warm welcome and for taking care of everything from the welcome drinks to breakfast! Bravo to Ms. Sangoy and Baptiste for their kindness and professionalism! Not forgetting the magnificent 7 cozy rooms with their superb bedding and decor! Thank you for everything!

24/01/2026: Awesome service, amazing food. We mentioned we were celebrating our engagement and they put us on a table with an amazing view of the mountains and the river. They also surprised us with a song, heart shaped confetti and a free dessert. Best lunch ever!

23/01/2026: I had ordered the menu, the courses were decent, but did not blow me away. The price for the a la carte dishes were way too high for the quality. The servers were not very welcoming or friendly. I came here through the Michelin Guide, but I was not very satisfied.

14/12/2025: No one greeted us upon arrival, no greeting when the waitress brought our cutlery, and the service was incredibly slow. The online menu doesn't match the restaurant's menu. The only positive aspect was the young waitress's energy. Avoid at all costs!

12/01/2026: We had a truly lovely evening at the restaurant. The fondue experience was a very pleasant surprise. It came with a fresh salad, a generous selection of meats, and wonderfully tasty pickles with onion that we simply couldn’t stop enjoying. Everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the evening. A special thank you to Romain for taking such wonderful care of us and for pouring us Genepi 😅The drink was excellent and added a perfect touch to the night. The service was so thoughtful and welcoming that we stayed until the very end of the evening without wanting to leave. Highly recommended ✨
