08/10/2026: Very good food! We were three ladies who shared three large appetizers and drank delicious wine - Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The whole evening for a reasonable price. Recommended!

12/09/2026: The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave a thorough historically based lecture on the house.
The tour was entirely in French and my brain lost the ability to concentrate after 2 hours, so I departed early. Tour was still going strong!

The Marquise de Païva: Built between 1856 and 1865 by the architect Pierre Manguin for the courtesan Esther Lachmann (known as Thérèse or "La Païva"), who later became a marquise and then a countess.
Symbol of Success: Having experienced a spectacular rise in social status, legend has it that she vowed to build the most beautiful house in Paris on the famous avenue where she had once suffered from poverty.

09/08/2026: A great place to meet up and indulge your taste buds.
The food is really good: excellent value for money.
Some of the games are definitely showing their age, but that's part of the charm of the place – and there are other, newer games too, so it's all good.
The service is very good. We had a waiter and a waitress (Thursday, August 6, 2026) at TopiPop: thank you for the service!
First time I came to spend an evening there, and it was great, so I'll be back.
23/07/2026: Was here as a traveler and had a great evening with strangers. They have a lot of games, even newer ones, a lot of space, and good food. I wish i had this place at home 5/5

30/10/2026: A very disappointing experience. The service was terrible: they forgot several orders and the staff left much to be desired. Despite having a Latin theme, there was no atmosphere, no music, and no one dancing. A boring night with no entertainment whatsoever. Furthermore, €120 for two people is quite expensive for the quality offered. Very poor value for money. I wouldn't go back.

19/08/2026: I came for lunch, walked for 40 minutes because Google said the restaurant was open, and arrived to find the doors closed. This isn't a place for people who value their time and are willing to pay for proper service. The restaurant doesn't respect its customers. As a result, I had to take a long-distance train on an empty stomach. I don't recommend it.

28/08/2026: Fantastic place! We received a very warm welcome from the gentleman who served us; he was truly friendly and welcoming. The platter was more than generous, with high-quality products, all at a very reasonable price.
The only slight drawback was a waitress who wasn't quite as smiley and welcoming.
Despite this, we had a wonderful time and will gladly return! I highly recommend it.
