Merci Bernard

Carquefou
17/05/2026: It was delicious! We were so sad to learn a few weeks ago that this restaurant had closed. We loved the tikka masala and the butter chicken. The naan was a special mention. All the best.

Pors Dream

Plomodiern
10/07/2026: Mr. Mao is a lovely person; he helped my husband, my daughter, and me a great deal. He truly made our vacation wonderful. The campsite is idyllic with the beach right below...splendid! I highly recommend it.
09/07/2026: Magnificent location between 2 trees, magnificent panorama, the beach below the location, the small fountains along the walkways to fill water bottles and flasks... pure bliss!

Auberge du vieux pont

Palmas
30/05/2026: An incredible surprise in the middle of nowhere. A very authentic setting in 400 years old former postal relay station. The portions are very generous and the food very tasty. The owner is a one man show and everything is home made. The specialy is fish and seafood which Josafat gets fresh from Montpellier. I was the only guest for lunch but Josafat assured me that the next two evenings were fully booked. Very good value for money and a very interesting life story. If you in the area or even driving on the A75, worth the small detour. Reservation is mandatory.
02/05/2026: The atmosphere and the food were extraordinary. Highly recommended.

Le Passage

Cogolin
18/12/2025: Homemade food. Very warm welcome.
06/09/2025: Even though it's not full, nor are the tables reserved, the owner forces us to choose seats based on the customer's preferences. Fortunately, clothes don't make the man, nor does the customer's value. Too bad for your husband, who goes to such great lengths. I asked for a shady spot for my dog, and it was impossible for you to move us? When everything was still empty? And when we came back an hour and a half later, the other tables were still empty... We went to the other table, which welcomed us with a smile and a cool spot for my little dog. I should point out that my mother is 82 years old, so no respect for her either.

Les Templiers

Yvignac-La-Tour
23/03/2026: The buffet for my grandfather's funeral was very polite and respectful; the owner was very empathetic.
06/02/2026: The restaurant "Les Templiers" in Yvignac-la-Tour is the perfect culinary complement to a visit to the historic church. Located right in the heart of the village, it reflects the medieval history of Yvignac not only in its name but also in its ambiance. Ambiance and Style The restaurant is housed in a characteristic Breton stone building that blends beautifully with the historic flair of Yvignac. Rustic Charm: Inside, dark wood, natural stone walls, and a cozy, almost village-like atmosphere often dominate. Historical Connection: The name is a direct homage to the Templar past of the area. It's a popular meeting place for locals and tourists who have just visited the Église Saint-Malo. Culinary Offerings "Les Templiers" is known for its honest, traditional French cuisine with a regional focus. Regional Products Highly Recommended The kitchen at "Les Templiers" operates strictly on seasonal ingredients. The restaurant's menu is shaped by its proximity to both the fertile hinterland and the Emerald Coast (Côte d’Émeraude): Seafood & Fish: With the Bay of Saint-Malo and the port of Erquy just a stone's throw away, fresh scallops (Coquilles Saint-Jacques) – the region's prized fish – or freshly caught sea bass often grace the grill. Brittany Meat: The restaurant frequently sources its meat from local farmers. Particularly popular are the Cochon de Bretagne (Breton pig) and Limousin beef from local farmers. Seasonal Vegetables: Side dishes often come from the fields surrounding Dinan. In spring, the famous Breton artichoke or asparagus take center stage, while in autumn, root vegetables and mushrooms from the nearby forests are featured. Set Lunch Menus: As is common in France, the restaurant often offers affordable set lunch menus, which are very popular. Specialties: You'll often find classic regional dishes here, such as: Fresh fish dishes (since the coast is nearby). Meat dishes with rich sauces. Homemade desserts like Tarte Tatin or creations with salted butter caramel. Atmosphere: It's less of a "fine dining" establishment and more of an upscale brasserie or auberge – welcoming, relaxed, and high-quality. Why it's worth a visit: After experiencing the mystical and rather cool atmosphere of the Romanesque church, the restaurant offers the perfect contrast: Location: You can leave your car; the restaurant is usually within easy sight of the church. Authenticity: Here you'll experience the real "La France profonde" (Lower France). It's not an overcrowded tourist spot, but a slice of authentic Brittany. The terrace: In the warmer months, the restaurant often offers outdoor seating where you can enjoy the view of the historic buildings. Note: Since Yvignac is a small town, it's advisable to call ahead and make a reservation, as the restaurant is very popular with locals. I'll gladly come again. Seneschal Meinolf

La Ferme de Grande Maison

Boulazac
31/03/2026: A wonderful family visit on Saturday afternoon with a truly exceptional welcome. Product presentations, tastings, and highlighting of specialties, all delivered with passion and kindness. The only problem... everything is delicious and it's hard to choose! Home delivery is available in vacuum-sealed packaging, and they provided explanations for storage and cooking. Everything was fantastic, thank you so much again! A must-do, and I'll definitely be back!
19/01/2026: Excellent farm products. Very high quality. I recommend them.

PATRICK' S BAR

Creteil
18/07/2026: Great atmosphere on match night, and the prices are perfectly reasonable. The service was pleasant, although a tad slow (there was only one waitress that evening, so it's understandable). The best Monaco I've ever had.
23/03/2026: A fantastic evening with a great atmosphere. All the staff were very attentive. Thank you all.

Patisserie Maxime

Haguenau
23/06/2026: I am extremely disappointed with my experience. For a salad costing €12, I expected at least a decent portion. Instead, I received a very small piece of meat and a single slice of cheese cut into tiny pieces to give the illusion of quantity. It's simply a rip-off. The final bill is even harder to swallow when you consider the drinks: €19.80 for two measly cans of Coca-Cola and a bottle of sparkling water. At that price, it's well beyond a reasonable profit margin for a fast-food restaurant. It's a complete joke. I won't be back.
17/06/2026: A must for pastries and sweet verrines in Haguenau. A little pricey, but the taste and quality are there... it's a shame the tasting room is a bit small. The waitresses are great, and the hot drinks are too! A lovely place to warm up in winter and cool off in summer... my wife loves going there too!

Bontemps

Enfants-Rouges, Paris
02/07/2026: First experience at BONTEMPS Paris. A superb boutique located in the heart of Paris (near République, etc.). Charming decor, superb pastries in both design and color. Warm welcome. After having brunch next to this pastry shop (on the saleswoman's recommendation, as Bontemps brunch is only served on Sundays), we opted for a flan and a chocolate fondant with a crème anglaise insert. Intense in flavor, bursting with taste—kudos to them for their cakes! Admittedly, the prices mean you can't eat them every day and that not everyone can afford them; however, treating yourself from time to time is well worth it.
30/06/2026: I went there because eof a youtube video and it was so delicious i wanted to try everything there is two ways to enter , the patio and eating inside ( AC ) or just buying at the boulangerie on the left . You can order with a menu at the patio they have bathrooms
